To be perfectly honest, you could buy this game for the football and be happy with it.
Madden....will be Madden. You can expect the same thing as last year with some minor changes. And thats ok if you're cool with that. Although it does seem IMO that the next-gen versions of Madden aren't as...
Fixed that for ya. ;)
I'm still waiting for their little exhange that happens after Dan has just heaped praise on someone:
Peter: "....and "you can't coach that", can ya Dan?"
Dan: "You can't!"
(both laugh)
The game rocks by the way.
City of Industry had a bunch of copies left.
Yes, Ridge Racer is worth it. It starts off way easy but eventually becomes hella difficult. A retarded amount of races, too. If you can find it, go for it.
Love the game but theres one caveat: theres almost no one online. If you're content to buy a racing game that you'll largely play by yourself, jump on this game like yesterday. But if you need online multiplayer you might be better off looking elsewhere.
From what I played at E3, thats pretty much what you're going to get. For whatever reason theres a belief out there that gamers don't want a bit of complexity in their flight game. Unfortunately, that means more "chasing the lock-on arrow" and less "flying".
Theres another flight game coming...
Just to chime in; I got this card last month when I built my new PC. AGP version, which was more expensive than PCI-E and harder to find.
At any rate, the 6600 kicks ass. You're getting a great card for that price. The boxed version I got came with Far Cry and some other stuff like Nascar...
IMO its a very good game. Prolly gonna play some tonight.
I have some beefs with it; collision detection and AI. Nor do I see alot of people online playing.
Those beefs aside, I'd suggest it for 20 bones. But be warned its addicting.
