Then what's the point of them doing an open house? Might as well get the guest pass and pay the 10%.
Does anyone know if we can use any credit card as open house customers? I remember I had to pay cash with a guest pass.
Cool Stuff is horrible at paying attention to you, but they tend to have a better selection than Replays.
Replays has another store out on General Booth (I think near Strawbridge theatre).
Video Game Heaven is impressive for the old stuff they keep.
Not sure if they still exist, but there was...
Did you put a prepaid label on it or did you pay the flat rate? The only time you're allowed to put a prepaid label on those things is if it is for 1lb priority postage or more. They definitely don't care if you put more postage than needed.
Also the "if it fits, it ships" is only really...
If you're doing this deal then you'll get a prepaid shipping label. The two I did were via USPS. I'm guessing in some instances some folks are getting UPS labels since they give an FAQ about UPS as well. Either way, you're not paying for shipping under this program.
Coming from a 360 controller I really like this. I noticed a bit of lag when I first used it, but I think the lag eventually works itself out. Others have mentioned the same thing in some reviews I read. If you're worried you could always just leave it plugged in with the massive USB cable...

We don't even know if this is going to be just Portal 2. For all we know it might be a Maroon box that comes with Half Life 2: 3, TF3, and something else. Portal 2 is just what they're calling it for a placeholder. Too far in advance.
I've now used this controller with the Heavy Rain demo. It was plugged in the whole time and I experienced no lag. The only issue I have is the right analog stick seems to grind when I rotate it. It is an annoying sensation like rubbing the stick against sand paper, but I figure I'll get over...
USURPER!
The problem is that there is no great solution for a 360 controller clone for the PS3. This is the best option I have found locally (and the most cost effective).
I haven't even started playing my PS3 yet, but I'm going to give it a try now with this thing. I'm going to play the...
This is a bit exaggerated. I believe that they send all hardware somewhere to be inspected and refurbed. So if they are lazy and don't check it, and if for some odd reason they just stick it back on the shelf to be sold, and if someone returns it because it doesn't work, they'll make an effort...
The Rocketfish Rapidfire Controller for the PS3 is $37.99 on bb.com. The reason it is cool is not so much for the turbo option, but because it is designed like the 360 controller (reversed left analog stick and d-pad, curved handles).
It does have motion control (SIXAXIS) and rumble (some...
