You're 100% right. It is such a bummer to wait and wait for the good Nintendo games to go on "sale". I am happy they aren't creating artificial demand by limiting supply like they did with the Wii. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but damn they piss me off.

Play and charge kits are garbage.  Always have been.  We are all much better off buying some nice rechargeable AA's and a charger.  Keep some charged and on deck.  I have found that my rechargeable AA's last longer and charge faster.
