Don't forget resident evil revelations and remastered. There's also dead rising 3, and a few indie games. I think RE has a better chance then say batman.

I'd grab the AK pass for 50% off. Game plus pass for $25 would be cheaper than the eventual goty edition. (I got the game on release for $5.35)

Arkham Knight is my GotY. Amazing story, gameplay, and a decent amount of things to do.
 
$138 is Very tempting for the Elite Controller. But I rather use that $$$ at BB for the Points and for Elite Status (about $500 to go). Plus I have a Movers Coupon that expires soon.

I was going to get BLOPS 3 for PS4 since I am way beter with the DS4 controller...but might have to cancel and get it for X1 since Elite Controller.

I have been thinking about finally starting this since it was included in my X1 bundle last year. I am surprised to hear that it was not fixed. Actually I am not. I usually like to finish games I start but if it is really bad I may not make it through.

Okay, so I restarted my Xbox and it seems as if the update that they make you download hadn't fully installed yet so I was essentially playing a day one version of Unity. Now that the update was applied, it's running super smooth. Phew, sorry for the double post, but I didn't want you to pass up on it because of the issues I was having.
 
Anyone playing Syndicate? I picked up the gold edition yesterday for $21 after GCU,gift card, and certificate, but I haven't opened it yet.

I'm predicting nothing special as usual. Probably another repeat Rockstar, Asscreed, COD or Gears of War or other big game franchise sale that's been done time and time again. Maybe a few overpriced Halloween movies that no one buys. They might have some horror games, but don't expect them to be the ones that people really want. Costume Quest games will probably go on sale months after Halloween passes.

They have a Minecraft Halloween Pack this year, but it's not free. $3.99. They do have a free trial.

Yes. I remember being mad when Halo 4 went on sale within a month of launch, I didn't think it would go on sale for a while. Nope. I expect to see it for $40.

New Hero dropped for smite, Sol, she is a naked fire goddess. Pretty good too, has a heal, an AOE fire bomb thing, and leaves a fire trail when escaping. Ult is flaming pillars from the sky. She has a skin that makes her blue and she looks a lot like Cortana.

New Halo will probably hit $45, maybe $40 kind of the way Black Friday treat GTA5 last year. However I think Gears UE could hit $10 with a lot of other mid to early releases and discount games.
 
zombi would be a great a game to have on sale because I remember people complaining about the price, game was amazing on wiiu and assuming the port job is good the game is worth it

The controller is STILL not rechargeable, and batteries or a rechargeable battery still needs to be purchased.

I don't really know why this is an issue. I have rechargeable batteries that I use for nearly all my controllers (360, Wii U, and Xbox One). You don't buy an Elite controller for whether or not it has a rechargeable battery, you buy it for the customization/button mapping/paddles. Personally if you're on the fence, I would just wait. I pre-ordered mine because I want to play Halo 5/Forza 6 with it. However, I can see it being on sale during Black Friday for a slight discount.

FH had poor initial sales leading to that rare type of price cut. MS's flagship game of the Christmas season won't have a shot at a sale like that unless it's 100 times worse than MCC's launch or a glitch.

Speaking of glitches, WRC 5 seems to have broken xbldb.com. The page for it gets a 401 error and it lists the initial price as $35 which is what some retailers listed (others list $40) even though xbox.com listed $50. I was looking at WRC on xbox.com and the 360 version is $35 now and the One version is $50 now, thus matching retailers.

As a giant rally fan I want to buy it to support rally games being released here in the US. As a fan of quality games I'm not so sure as the reviews are not great and one of the worst issues is prevalent bugs. As a CAG, I have some Golden Crisp codes so I would really spend $30 to get $50 in credit. Decisions, decisions...

It's more that Sony has had built in rechargeable batteries since the PS3, and MS still charges extra for a play n charge kit.

Which is a liability depending on how long you intend to keep a PS3 around -- in 10 years you'll be able to drop in a new set of rechargeable AA's, but how likely is it you'll be able to find a PS3 controller with a good working battery for a reasonable price?

I would still rather have my Eneloops in the XB1 controller than that crappy PS4 rechargeable that doesn't even stay charged long when not in use.

 
Play and charge kits are garbage.  Always have been.  We are all much better off buying some nice rechargeable AA's and a charger.  Keep some charged and on deck.  I have found that my rechargeable AA's last longer and charge faster.

That is a little annoying for tournaments though. You have to sync and unsync every player. For X1 they just have a rule that no battery packs be in the controller so you must use USB cable. Saves a little time every match that adds up over time.
