Just picked some up cheap used and I love em. The sticks and general construction is tighter than the pro and the shape of them still offers a great grip without the handles. I like em better than the pro, personally
Criterion hasn't made a racing game since 2013. Enjoy waiting another decade for one if it doesn't sell well, esp since EA seems to have just dropped it with little to no fanfare in the middle of the holidays. It's like Titanfall 2 all over again.
I don't remember seeing those temp charges on the debit card in the past (and I've placed some large batches of preorders before) and I know I've seen other people mention that too. Maybe it's a YMMV kinda thing?
Deathloop compared to Arkanes previous games is way more action heavy. In designing it they realized casual players got choice paralysis from all the abilities/options and ended up doing the slow unfun stealth thing you described.

Black Friday is your best bet. As others mentioned, 30% is the average but last year a bunch of physical/digital games were marked down to $27 each on GameStop. Keep an eye out when big sales go live and sometimes you can snag a BIG discount
Time will tell, I suppose. I only ever saw like 2 copies of the switch version on a shelf and it would seem there is no PS5 upgrade for this game. If it's a small printing (and its a game people want/like) one day, it may go up, esp if the digital version ever gets delisted. My estimation is if...
