As it's nearing the end of the month and you might be ready for a Starfield break now, i'll throw in another recommendation for Beacon Pines before it leaves. Don't let the cutesy character design and wah-wah talk dissuade you - there's a cool story in there and the multiple branching paths...
mostly, no. Each (original) weapon pairs with a distinct accessory. There are a couple of things that are trickier and require evolved weapons or hidden items so depending how far you've progressed in game you may not be able to evolve those yet. The DLC weapons seem to re-use existing...
if you decide to stick it out here's a tip that is listed absolutely nowhere in the game - to start a video clip at the beginning rather than at the keyword time, hold the right stick in the left direction when you start it. that'll cut about an hour of 'gametime' rewinding out
i thought it was really cool when i first started it, but as it went on the novelty wore off and i watched most of the clips in FF just reading the subtitles. it definitely was a unique way to experience a story though. i wish you could have flagged clips and had them play...
Humble's sending 2mos for $6/month offers out. I got it on two different accounts, one where I just canceled choice 2 days ago. There's good stuff in this month but I've played a lot of them through Gamepass already...
For those that switched out the steam deck SSD - didn't valve warn against this? I know they said it was physically possible but I remember the main designer saying pretty clearly "don't do this"
If anyone plays Weird West they added a new hardcore mode with no manual saves and permadeath if that's your thing. More interesting to me is that i think they uploaded the wrong version to xbox because the dev menu is enabled and there's weird messages at the top of the screen. The dev menu...

I've been playing horizon 2 recently too. I can't imagine trying for the full championship list. The decision they made to require a road trip between each race series just kills me. The game itself still stands up really well though it does punish you a lot for going off course - I'm used to...
Sure a deck 2 or 3 will have better hardware in 5-10 years, but you're going to be missing out until then. This thing is great and i've played more on it than my 6800xt desktop since i got it.
