My local GS sells sealed copies of Gamedays sale games and returns the gutted cases to the bin (they do seem to keep 2 or 3 gutted copies for some games though, in case the employees don't return them right away I guess) so it's not like every store is the same.

As long as it takes to get rid of the games. Last time it lasted well over a month. Of course the best deals/games may be gone in days. Yes but Gamestop is doing better in this economic downturn... thus they don't have to try as hard.
