Yeah pretty much, from around the web apparently a lot of people didnt know about it. Cant blame them though its Sony fault for not having it on the UI and advertising. Stupid to have it on app on a phone only. Bet they'll do another rewards program down the line and then axe it just like all the others. How many has it been around 4 or 5. I would say underground was like the 1st.

My PS Plus Extra sub expires in 2 weeks. My current renewal price actually shows the same as last years price for me instead of the new increased prices. I doubt Days of Play will offer a better discount so I'll probably just jump on that.

The date for the Days of Play sale has been leaked. It's supposed to start this Wednesday the 28th of May and last until June 11th.

There is also a rumored State of Play being held sometime in June after Summer Game Fest and possibly a Showcase around September with the State of Play focusing around Death Stranding 2 and the Showcase showing off Ghost of Yotei.
 
I will sub to PS Premium as soon as the 30% discount is live. I missed out on getting the grandfather discount so now need to wait for this days of play sale every year. My sub ran out a month ago so I have just been waiting. Now it looks like I will be on track for my sub to run at right when the next days of play sale hits so I won't have to go without Premium this long next year.

What is your ‘buy price’? For me, I’d never pay over $30 per year. Last time I did I maybe played online once in a year and never renewed.

So my sub expires soon, July I think... do they have a discount on all of the plans? I don't game online and don't have time to really enjoy the Premium/Essential tiers so I just stick with basic for the free games and some of the other services. But at $80 a year, that's a hard pill to swallow but if it was like $56 (30% off)... I could live with it.
 
Anyone have the Journey to the Savage Planet Employee of the Month edition? I bought it hoping to play the campaign with my son. He’s on PS4, I’m on PS5…. I’m thinking it isn’t cross play because he doesn’t have access to the dlc, despite getting the base game from the purchase. Maybe it’s coded as a new game or something. Anyone know for sure?

I just beat this game last night but on Series X. I had beaten the original game years ago when it was on Game Pass. Well I noticed the employee of the month edition and the DLC was now on Game Pass so I decided to play it and lo and behold, it didn't recognize my save file so I had to start from the beginning. The game isn't too long and I like it so I just went ahead and beat it all over again and beat the DLC.
 
Anyone heard any news on the up coming game mindseye? It’s coming out next month and barely no news on it. Was looking forward cause it’s made from Ex rockstar employees

I was just thinking how it seems like some PS5 releases haven't been as cheap as I thought they'd be by now, mainly first party/exclusive games. I see a lot of niche/third party games on sale but stuff like Demon's Souls, R&C, etc. feel like they hit $30-40 and haven't gone below that.

That may be true. I still have 18 months of PS+ cards and 18 months of Xbox live cards unused. Been sitting on them for years. I just don’t play online anymore. I got these back in the day when the 3 months were around $10 each at Best Buy and the 1 year cards were about $30.

Of course they did since I bought one like a few weeks ago.

A lot of these prices don't seem that great. Returnal and Demon's Souls at $30 is insane to me. I realized both games are very highly regarded but DS was a launch title and Returnal came out like 4 years ago. And most of these prices we saw during BF I feel like. Wasn't the VR2 less, like $300 during BF?

Also I find it odd that there still hasn't been a single PS5 Pro plates.
 
so you're saying these prices are as good as black friday?! kidding aside, for most of these games this is the rock bottom price for sony now, it's been like this for the whole ps5 life span. they are following the nintendo model now for first party games.

It’s best to just wait till Black Friday season then to get the 15-20% off psn cards dollar general does

I believe this is an all time new low price. Funny because I literally had just added Nioh Collection to my wishlist earlier today and was ready to buy it for $30 lol. Out of all of the Soulslikes, Nioh was always my favorite. Team Ninja really cooked with that game! I never got to play the sequel. I had forgot that they were Playstation exclusives.

Returnal, Sekiro and Nioh are on my list of games to play, I just don't know when I'll have time to play them.

My sub ends on June 16th so I am hoping the promotion runs long enough to re-up at the discounted rate but reading the blog post online it looks like the Days of Play sale runs from May 28 - June 11. So the five days they added to my sub during that brief outage has ruined the possibility of me renewing my subscription at a discounted rate. This is so very frustrating.
 
Kind of getting bored with the PS + games last few months. Usually I can argue that it's some good choices even if already have a few, but starting to lose appreciation for ps plus...1 I own (Bomb Rush...yet to play it though), sports games can "go jump off a cliff" (perfect saying whitereflection) and Destiny DLC seems pointless. You either have it already or too late to get into now. Alone in the Dark seems ---> meh
