Yeah the app seems messed up. It used to display correctly for me as well. I tried what you said and it did momentarily display the correct balance but then it reverts to 0. Ah well, at least there's a way to check.

If you have plus, it has automatic cloud save backups that are easy to set up. I know not everyone has plus, but if you play even semi regularly you probably have it just for the online access. There's really no reason to ever lose more than a days worth of gameplay in this day and age.

The original and eX+ versions have different trophy lists, if that matters to you.

Avoid Return/ Rebuying, as this could count as going over on the 3 games limit. Just call/ chat with customer service and get a price adjustment on the previous purchase

I had my BC PS3 die a long time ago. You're going to have to let it go. Buy a brand new super slim, it should last you another 10 years or more. That way you can play PS1+PS3 games. Then pick up a used PS2 dirt cheap somewhere, its the only economical option at this point. To buy another used BC...

Atlus kept Persona 4 and the 2 SMT Digital Devil Saga games in print for years, well into the PS4 era even. And they are still available new for under MSRP online. I don't think Persona 5 is ever going to go out of print, unless we get a new edition for PS4 like FES.
