GTmaster, IMO the map packs aren't worth the money. However, once psn is up and running again, if you can join a gameshare group they're definitely worth $3. Well maybe not definitely but you probably won't have buyer's regret.

what kind of crashing is it? is it a kernel panic or just random OS related? I'd spend $20 to put a different HD in there first just to see and then sell it for more if that's what you really want to do.
