Yes they do, but if you apply gift cards that you bought with another credit card, it doesn't matter. Amazon is ass-backwards in some areas.

Yeah I will probably do something like this. Changing the credit card just seems like a hassle and a risk at this point. Also, after doing more research I realize that you most likely can add multiple gift cards to an existing order. I have some bestbuy credit that I should convert to amazon.

Has anybody that preordered on amazon been able to successfully change their payment method without it effecting their shipping date?  I read an article not too long ago, that said the order date changed for a preorder for someone ordering halo 4 when changing the payment method.  I needed to...

Tempted to get a vita now.  But would probably regret it during black friday, when they are all but guaranteed to be $200, plus extras or even cheaper. 

For anybody's order that backordered using the coupon code, you can go in store and use the coupon printout (from the same coupon) and it should still work.  Just did it right now.

Wondering this also, because my online order is backordered (even though its in stock now), may have to go to the store to see if it works.

Well, the confirmation page shows the coupon. When I go to my order status, the total still says $0, but the promotional code isn't listed. I think I should be good if the total is still 0. I never changed the order after placing it, just had to add a credit card instead of a gift card in...

Nvm, I got it to go through when adding a credit card.

I'm getting "We're sorry. There was a problem with your order. Please call us at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."  Did you just purchase it on it's own or add something to the order?  My total is 0.
