I would highly recommend NOT doing a blind buy of this series...watch the first couple of episodes. If you like it then you will probably like the rest of it. If not, well I really doubt you are going to like the rest of the episodes in the hopes that it might get better...because it really doesn't.

Band of Brothers is a MUST OWN especially on Blu...The Pacific on the other hand is not. There are only a couple of what I deem as 'good' episodes (part 8 and 9) and they were more toward the end when I had already given up on the show being something more than mediocre television.
