FWIW, I love HOMM3 HD, and I was a huge fan of the original (top 5 game of all time for me).  I never cared that much for the expansions, especially the conflux town which was overpowered/game breaking.  I will miss the random maps though.

Anyone have any thoughts on Defiance?  Would be playing it co-op with the lady.

Well, I guarantee Advent Rising outsold Fez by a very large margin. Fez is obviously a lot more recent though, so if that is what you are looking for, so be it. Fez was also considered a success at 100k units sold because it was developed by 1 guy rather than an entire AAA budget dev team...

Note quite as good as the day one $2.99 deal on the first album, but I'll still bite. I feel like there are more "why the hell is this here?" tracks on this one than the first, and I don't play military shooters.

I bit mainly for the guitar, it's hard to find a wireless GH3/GHWT/GH5/BH guitar alone for under $50. The game, mic, and drums are just a bonus or maybe I'll try to sell them cheap.

Agreed 100%, it's very close to the top of my list for favorite game of all time. I never uninstall it and still play it a few times a year.

Settle down, Diablo wasn't even the best game of 96. They're clearly comparing the genre, not quality.
