That I can't answer. I haven't had any trouble with my Gamecube or PS2 on my LCD, and Plasmas have a faster response time, so I'd be led to say no, but response time doesn't necessarily influence lag.

For LCDs, yes. Plasmas use a slightly lower resolution in general, if I recall correctly. It's not that noticable though because the picture is so much better.
