Not necessarily. (For a lot of retail stores) A price ending in .96 means it's a clearance item. That means it might be based on the inventory of that specific store. .99 is usually MSRP .98 is usually a franchise-wide sale .97 is a "special purchase" (not so sure what that means...)

Yea, apparently they try to pull stuff on their customers. They claim people's orders ship without a confirmation number, only for the order to get "lost" in the mail. Some people get their games within a week, some within a month. As good of a price this is, I think I'll spend the extra $4...

I got this game when it was full price and adored it. For this price, it's an absolute steal. It's a little SSX (nothing will come close to touching SSX in my mind, but this game has a bit of the essence of SSX), a little racing, and a lot of fun. For $17, you guys should pick this up.
