i really dunno if the 9200 has hardware support for DirectX 9 cards - that started with the 9600

any ati card that is not a radeon 9600/9700 mobility including all lower 9xxx and igp cards aew more or less worthless for gaming (except mebbe splinter cell and UT 2004) Only the Mobility Radeon 9600/9700 are DIrectX 9 compliant - think DOOM3 and Half Life 2 wiith the eye candy turned on!

does anybody know of some really big nice detailed mods for half life 2 in the pipeline? i've heard that people are buying this game essentially beacuse its such a great base for all kinds of mods. case in point: counterstrike. this is not to discount the awesome single player and the bundled...

Nero Burning Rom 6.3.x.x or for those of you who dont have it, even Nero Express will do...though I think its interface sucks

i downloaded the demo last night and boy does the game rock! this steam bulls*** is so annoying but i guess we'll have to live with it...... compusa's offer looks tooo tempting but who knows....come january and it might even go for less. like anybody's gonna wait that long...lol
