If anyone cares to know, you can buy the Lifechat ZX-6000 by Microsoft for ~$25. The mic is supposed to be shit more or less but the receiver works with the wireless 360 controllers. Not bad considering the standalone receiver wasn't much cheaper than this.

lol, yeah the store has now bumped them back up to 189.... some stores still have some with the 169 stickers so you can hold them to that... Otherwise if you live close to the border just go to a US gamestop and get it for 99.

thanks for the reply... I've actually considered doing that, but with the weight of the TE sticks it totally kills the deal. It's ~30-40 for shipping to canada alone... I believe they are around 6.5lbs with a bigass box too. I have about $40 worth of trade-ins I can do here to make the stick...
