ace patrol does so well on iOS that you'd think they would make a point to have it be mac compatible.

I guess I can get rid of my ico and shadow disc, plus a much easier set up for remote play. Cool beans. I almost bought sine mora yesterday AND I've been dying to play amalur again so this will be a great month for me.

On another note, all these big expensive sounding word in this article is sounding like a $100+ price at least. Which is a little bananas.

I can't see why software couldn't simulate it. My personal example is morrowind. It doesn't support controllers since it's older, but has an xbox version so there is something to compare it to, with keyboard the best possible solution is 8 inputs, but couldn't software emulate different degrees...

It kind of seems like that's the point, to make non controller games actually viable with a controller.

I have never been able to get xpadder or any emulator to make wasd movement feel like thumb stick movement. 8 way still means there are only 8 distinct directions it can go, a thumb stick blends them all to variable degrees based on where the thumb stick is located.... Simply analog vs digital...

Plus if the left thumb pad can accurately emulate wasd, that will be the clincher for me. Playing older fps games or others that demand wasd.... I HATE wasd with a passion and current emulation techniques on like joypad and such don't do any behind the scenes work to blend the 4 directions. If...

This to me seems like the only actual worthwhile thing they have announced. A great controller for the couch junkies is pretty much the holy grail for games that demand mouse and keyboard.

It's pretty dang good. A little short and the controls take a little getting used to, but for 3 bucks I'd probably say shoot.

250 gb hard drive. Trying not to be naughty with windows, but not really interested in spending tons of money buying it. Plus with no disc drive, installing 8 or 7 is a kind of a big pain in the behind.
