Oof. What was the problem with their PS4 shmups?

Sorry I didn't reply to you earlier, but yes the Vita version is a beautiful port with the same ability to control filters and get a crisp, sharp image by turning off the annoying blur/softening filters.

Actually there is a Vita version. The standalone 25th Anniversary release of Metal Slug 3 was put out on the PS4, PS3, and Vita in 2015. All versions feature top quality emulation by Code Mystics, including the ability to turn off the softening filters and have a crisp, beautiful image on all...

For everyone saying that Metal Slug 3 isn't worth it because they can just play it on the Metal Slug Anthology, the version on the Anthology is far worse than the standalone PS4 port. The Anthology Metal Slug games have no ability to turn off the softening filter, so they look fuzzy and blurry...

Labo sale at Best Buy ($31.99 each with GCU)

Does anyone actually play with these cheap cardboard gimmicks? Or do they buy them, put them together, "play" them once, then just stick them in the back of the closet? Who actually uses these on a regular basis?

Obviously I do know what I'm talking about, look how badly the Wii U failed. People saw what it was and realized that it wasn't worth it. They poured way too many resources into the gamepad, leaving very little left for the console itself. No reason to get upset when people voice opinions other...

Too bad it had such poor specs and was missing many commonly expected features, mainly due to the expensive gamepad gimmick. And unfortunately if the gamepad breaks, the system becomes a useless brick. It really wasn't well designed at all, but that's been the case for all Nintendo systems for...

PSN Weekly Deals - 7/9: PS Retro Sale! $4 Arcade Archive games, $14 Konami Collections, $5 Ikaruga, $10 Yakuza Kiwami, & More!

It's a fantastic Outrun style game, great speed, super colorful graphics, great music, tight races. Very addictive and challenging. My only complaint is that as you progress into later areas, it gets a little hard to come in first unless you have a perfect run, which can be tough.

I have a bunch of tiny plastic snap cases, each one holds a single Vita cartridge. I use them on all my games that are actively being used to protect the cartridge. They slip easily into the pockets of the Butterfox case and provide extra protection. Bought them from Amazon a long time ago...

This isn't specifically a game case, but I've used a Butterfox carrying case for my slim Vita for several years, it's a well-made, sturdy nylon case with two compartments, one for the Vita and one for 10 games plus extra. Quality is excellent: Butterfox Double Compartment Carry Case For PS Vita...

    Retro-Bit Generations $19.99 @ Marshalls/TJ MAXX/Home Goods

I recommend that people check out the Retro Bit Super Retrocade, it's actually a fairly nice little Mini console that is far better than the Generations, which was a big disappointment. However you need to get version 1.1 of the Super Retrocade, not the original version, because they added some...

This isn't a small or obscure game relatively speaking, but Dragon's Crown Pro for the PS4 did have a fairly small production run and might be rare in the future. Best Buy just dropped the price to $29.99 (23.99 with GCU)...

The red cover looks absolutely horrible, like someone sloshed red paint on to a piece of paper. The other cover is pretty bad too though, they really did a poor job on both.

I totally agree. This same issue has happened over and over with LRG releases. The most basic design elements are often bungled, making the back covers visually unappealing. Tiny, unreadable fonts and tiny screenshots that are too small to discern well. I've brought it up in the past, but LRG...

Box art on many LRG games has been pretty bad, with some exceptions. Games often feature poorly designed front and back covers with dull colors, tiny/dark/undecipherable screenshots on the back (if any), and overall unappealing artwork. I understand that the developers design the box art for...

Agreed. It's a multiplayer based game, with little to no single player content. Not a good choice for a physical release, same problem as Lawbreakers. Easy pass.

It's an absolutely fantastic shmup. Yes it starts out slow (ship moves slowly and is underpowered), but as you upgrade your ship and get to later levels, it gets insane. Graphics are really nice along with sound effects and music. I played both Sky Force games on Android and they're fantastic...

You sound like a very difficult customer who feels entitled. We have Prime but we never demand concessions from Amazon when packages are occasionally late. That's just lame.
