Well the cheapest I've seen it was on Amazon for about $40. Also I think Ebgames is selling it and they have a deal where if you purchase it you get the strategy guide for free. Don't know if that will sway you much.

Ahh in cases like this, pawn shops are your friend, I was able to pick up an HD-DVD attachment for $100 from a pawn shop in PA. Just look around in second hand shops and it'll be alright.
