I'd check out PBA Pro Bowling on Steam. It's the sequel to the PBA mobile game that I put a lot of hours into. Has a career mode and a good mix of simulation and arcade bowling, and only costs $20 currently on Steam. Giant Bomb did a quick look as well if you want to check it out...
