I'm in the same boat with the addition of Rallisport Challenge 2.
 
I knew the live would be down today. I told myself I would watch dvd's. But I want to play live more then ever. Then tomorrow when its back up I'm not going to care, and probably won't play live all day.

Nope.

Again, this would require a download of some type, which they said won't happen. Whatever they are doing is specific to the live service itself, not your xbox.

Apparently the "cool stuff" is just xbox.com stuff... I could care less, I don't really go to the site.

Because it's all intergrated. They want you to be able to do nearly everything on xbox.com as you can in your dashboard when you are signed in.

It better be back up by the time I get home from work at midnight. I wanna do some multiplayer offroad exploration on TD:U.
 
My friend just got off the phone with support about some other warranty issues, and a point refund. Their entire system was down along with live, they couldn't help him. But they told him to call back in 3 hours.

It's already pretty much confirmed it's changes to Xbox.com.
 
What happened to that idea of buying another user's content? Like they could design a skin for a car in pgr3 and sell it or something. Or was I just dreaming that up?

they talked about it at E3 a few years ago, but never spoke of it again.
 
I hope they add the ability to read and see all messages. On xbox.com you can only read text messages, not video, audio, or picture messages. So here's hoping that they take care of that. I hate turning my console on for a friend saying something stupid.

Funny, but you do bring up an interesting point. It's only a matter of time before there are news stories of little johnny playing his Wii or PS3 and finding the wonderful world of gay porn and beastiality..... and that's not going to bode well for the industry.

I thought that was what the live camera was for. If you could xfer your marketplace points to other users, I imagine that xboxlive would become the new live pron channel.

I have a feeling that idea would be too hard to implement since MS wants to approve everything that goes on the marketplace.

true. everything would have balls, boobs or potleaves on them. a large percentage of people would be making the most perverse things possible.

the approval system would require live people reviewing each item, making live a lot less profitable. and all the people making perverse items would be trying as hard as possible to subvert the approval system with hidden obcenities :lol:

that's not even considering the logistics of providing tools for people to make stuff with or the logistics of whether an item could interfere with gameplay somehow.

OMG my DS has gotten played way more today then it ever has before.

Also only 2 hrs 35 minutes from now if it is even 1 minute more im gonna demand 2000 marketplace points so i can buy pong LOL its another thread very sad video though.
 
If anyone's got FarCry for 360 i'll be on at 3am playing it. my tag is bluto27. M$ better be on time with going back online.

Another way to tell if its back up. Is by people that have live gamercard sigs like me, once lives come back. We will have info in our sigs like gamerscores, and last games played.
