Stopped by a Sears.

Quite a few Donkey Konga 2 with Bongo and 1 Donkey Konga with Bongo. Without the Bongo it was $17.97. Also, had 1 set of Bongo.

I picked up Mario Power Tennis for Gamecube for $26.92 out the door.

No Dragon Quest, Burnout Legends, but they did have Burnout Revenge for Playstation 2 marked 14.97 or 19.97 (can't remember).

I saw a Wario Ware for GBA in a largish box, but was marked $29.xx and I did not want to spend any more money, so I did not bother. Pokemon XD was $29.97 and Custom Robo was $24.97. Mario Golf was $19.97. Metroid Prime 2 and Paper Mario, if I remember correctly, $29.97.

Kirby for GBA was $14.97 (the newer one) as was Super Mario Bros 3 for GBA, as were quite a few other GBA games, but nothing of interest.

I don't have an Xbox, but Outrun 2 caught my eye for $14.97.

That is about all I can recall.
Anyone know how CC price matches? Do we just print it out and show them or do we have to have our local Sears have the game?
I just got denied today because Sears was out of stock... which was bullshit, they had 4 copies of Need for Speed: Most Wanted for PSP (I was trying to get it for $19.99) and apparently Sears told CC that they were sold out, so the cashier denied my price match.

First time this has EVER EVER happened... I'm going to go back later today and try a different cashier, or just PM it at Sears.

I scored:

Warioware Twisted - $14.97
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness - $19.97

Virtua Tennis for PSP is $9.97, Death Jr for PSP is $29.97.
Anyone know how CC price matches? Do we just print it out and show them or do we have to have our local Sears have the game?
I have the same question, do I have to buy the game at CC 1st then PM to get the 110%? Or can I just show them like a AD/Recipt of Sears to get 110%?
Did you happen to check out their GC games? I was thinking of swinging by & grabbing Battallion Wars and maybe Batton Katios, but if they don't have them you'll save me a trip. :)
You know what.. I think they had a couple. I didn't know they were part of the markdowns. Hmm.. I may have to return for one myself, although I'd rather have Ninja Gaiden Black and Castlevania

Just show them the printout, most circuit city's will honor it, unless you get a bitchy cashier like I had.

I bought NFS:MW for $49.99 earlier, I am going back after work for the PM from the print out off the website, and hopefully pick up Mario Power Tennis.

Awesome! I almost jumped on a BW at Rhino the other day for $35 (tho I think that was a price mistake), but for $25 I don't think I can resist.

I was able to score a couple of copies of Virtua Tennis PSP. Another game also at $9.97 at my local Sears was Metroid Prime 2: Echoes GC they had about six copies.
Anymore $10 PSP games?
No, from what I could gather when I was there Virtua Tennis was the only one.

If someone wants a copy of Virtua Tennis I have a extra copy that I would sell or trade so PM with offers and also added to my little tradelist.

Also, this needs to be added to the title or OP this clearance is good in-store from 2/26/06-4/1/06.

I hope some of these prices will drop even further if this really is a clearance... $29.97 isn't much of a drop for Death Jr, was hoping for at least 50% off which would make it $19.97.

Went to Sears and grabbed a copy of Need for Speed:MW for PSP.

It rang up $49.99 and I showed him the online screen showing the $19.99 price.

The cashier said that it was too big of a price difference and he would not sell it to me for $19.99.

There policy says they will match any online price but he refused!!!

Is this legit?

I think what they did with the PSP Games was just drop the price ten bucks because all the one's that I saw marked on clearance had that on the sticker in-store. Since this is Sears I am thinking that this is probably the lowest it is going to get because they don't mark games down too often.

Legit how? Are the online prices legit? Of course. Is he legit in denying you? No, but in my experience the Sears electronics workers (at least in regards to video games) are dicks. Try again with another employee or just PM it at CC with the print out.

Has anyone checked Pikmin? My store still had a copy of that, and if Wind Waker is down to $9.97...

Yep, I've spent $75 on games this month. But.......It's not my fault.
I went to my store looking for WarioWare: Twisted! and didn't have any luck but ended up getting Kirby & The Amazing Mirror so it ended up not being a wasted trip even though I didn't find what I went looking for. They seemed to have everything marked with the marked down price at my store so I took note of most of the games that were on sale that I didn't recall seeing online or mentioned here by another CAG minus afew that didn't seem worth mention (Metroid Prime 2 for 29.97 for example)

3.88

R: Racing Evolution (Xbox)

8.88

Spider-Man 2 (GH if it matters) (PS2)

9.97

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 (NDS)

GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (PS2)

14.97

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)
Pokemon Ruby Version (GBA)
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (GBA)

17.47 (I think this was 17.47 if not it was 17 something for sure)

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)

24.97

Metroid Prime Pinball (NDS)
Pikmin 2 (GC)
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GC)
Mario Power Tennis (GC)

29.97

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures with GBA to GC cable (GC)

49.97

Final Fantasy XI with Harddrive (PS2)

89.99

GameBoy Advance Micro

Thanks for the heads up OP and everyone that mentioned that prices were good in store :)
Well, my local Sears actually had Metroid Prime 2: Echoes listed at $9.97.

I stopped at a Sears during lunch and picked up Jade Empire ($9.97), Ninja Gaiden Black ($14.97), and WarioWare: Twisted ($14.97).

They had a copy of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and I had the guy ring it up. It came up as not in system, he called a superior over, and unfortunately, the superior would only give it to me for the price on the price tag ($26.99). Oh well. I might try to head out to another nearby Sears after work today.

Also, the subject line of the post should be edited to reflect that this is also a B&M sale.

OK, just got back. All of the games were still marked at full price, but they had a decent selection (of PS2 & GC games anyway, I'm not an Xbox guy ;)). Here's what I got:

Battalion Wars - $24.97
Baton Kaitos - $14.97
Bujingai - $9.97

I haven't seen Bujingai listed yet, but it was so old I figured I'd take a chance on it & it paid off. Was surprised to see it there, actually. The Battalion Wars & Bujingai were the last copies that I saw, but they had 2 or 3 more copies of Baten Kaitos. Also saw Burnout: Revenge (ps2), ICO, and several others from the list. No Tak, unfortunately - that would have made a great B'day present for a friend of mine.

I have all 8 pages of Markdowns, The good one's have listed. My BB will not Price match Sears. And I'm broke with only BB credit, so Burnout Revenge for me today.

Pricematched for me down to $16.99 after the 10% difference. I had Sears pricematch Metroid Prime 2 for me around XMas from $49.99 down to $11.49 after the 10%. I say go back and try to get a different employee.

Why won't they pricematch Sears?
Anyone know if these prices are good at Sears Essentials too?
Yes. Sears Essentials has the same prices, sales, and clearances as Sears, but not K-Mart.

I bought Ninja Gaiden Black ($14.97) and KOTOR II (9.97) there.

I also saw:

Pac 'n' Roll (DS) : 9.97

Unreal Championship (XBOX) : 7.97
Burnout 3 (XBOX) : 9.97

It would be nice if the original post could be updated with all the sale prices. It's often hard to tell at the store, because not everything is marked with the clearance price. I had to scan NG:Black, since it still said 39.99
Why won't they pricematch Sears?
They will, but I would have go thru so much bullshit with both stores that it not worth it. I'll PM it in another less crappy area.

I'll type up the complete list after my class tonight.

is this list nationwide or just YMMV... ANd thanks for printing up the list... plan on going over to sears tomorrow at the mall since i have some items i need to ship out

I picked up a couple of ICOs and Jade Empire for 9.99. I couldn't get BB to price match Dragon Quest VIII. I guess I'm relegated to ordering it online.

Thanks for the post! Not sure if it's been mentioned (or YMMV), but I saw PSP Virtua Tennis for $10.

I went to sears today and they only had 3 or 4 games total. I guess they got rid of the game sections awhile ago. Oh well, I picked up a used xbox 360 for $319 at a local game store I wouldnt have stopped at had I not went out for this, so thanks OP! I guess I will just order them online and eat the shipping.

Thanks for the post! I swung by today after work and picked up KOTOR II and Amped II for $9.97 each as well as Ninja Gaiden Black and Burnout: Revenge for $14.97 each. Not bad at all.

Thanks in advance. I'm really looking forward to seeing the list.

Anyone know if these prices are marked in the store? I'm not got gonna bother if there not marked, I'm lazy.

Check this out-Sears is the place to be if you go to a good, well-stocked store. This is the perfect place for a collector to stock up. I went to a Sears in Livingston, NJ today and found a black label copy of Legend of Zelda:WW for $9.97, a copy of ICO for $9.97, a copy of Jade Empire for $9.97, and a copy of R Racing Revolution for the XBOX for $3.88. These copies were clean and perfectly wrapped, a collectors delight. Now after work I visited a Sears in Watchung, NJ and found 2 copies of ICO and 2 copies of Legend of Zelda: WW
I also found a copy of Ratchet and Clank 1 and Soul Calibur for the PS2, both $9.97 and both black label. Keep in mind all copies are immaculate. I am so blessed. Thank you Lord!

Thanks a lot for posting this, wlau. :)

I just picked up:
Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox)
Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes (Xbox) $14.97
Need For Speed Underground 2 (Xbox) $9.97
X-Men Legends (Xbox) $9.97

I also saw:
Downhill Domination (PS2) was marked $9.99
War of The Monsters (PS2) 9.99
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II (GC) $9.99
Midway Arcade Treasures 1 (XBox) $7.97

Plus a few others.

goddamn if I only had a sears nearby, I would DEFINITELY buy either burnout or ninja gaiden. Lame and lame! What is the least amount someone would be willing to accept to pick up one of those games for me? I accidentally low-balled earlier in the thread, but in truth I basically would like to see if its possible to get one of those games for slightly better than the 21 or so I would actually pay to get them off sears.com...

I hate missing out on deals that are still going on :(
Anyone know if these prices are marked in the store? I'm not got gonna bother if there not marked, I'm lazy.
They were not marked at the Sears in Michigan, NGB did ring up 14.97 though.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 (ps2) - $24.97

Holy shit, what a rare and awesome find.

Pretty much any old game is clearanced at Sears.

I saw a couple copies of this, that weren't marked.....hmm maybe i should pick them up

Excellent deal. Had my eyes on both Castlevania CoD and DQVIII. $50 (incl. shipping) for both rather than for merely one of them is certainly agreeable.

Some of the prices do seem to vary somewhat. All (or at least all the games I knew of beforehand) were marked at my store, but some were different. Ninja Gaiden was $19.97, not 14.97, one of the GC games was different (my fiancee kept the computer from me for the last 3 hours, so I don't recall much). I picked up DK Jungle Beat for 19.97, Astro Boy for 9.97 (maybe return or trade?) and Starfox Assault for $24.97 -- I don't think this one was posted yet. I jumped on it since I don't know when it will drop below $49.99 retail anywhere else. Also saw FFTA for $17.97, Mario vs. DK for the same price, and a couple other GBA games marked. Kirby GBA was 14.97, never bothered with it before, still not gonna bite.

Tried to PM DK Jungle Beat at CC and BB beforehand, but no one had it stocked.

Stupid clearance, making me go over $300 for the month again :p

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I just picked up POP: The 2 thrones for just under $10 and Sears Las Vegas, NV.....I thought it was a decent deal.

Haha, that's a nice misprice.

Edit: To keep my lengthy posting going... Sears gets games hella fast! Super Princess Peach release date was today, and lo and behold, they've got 8 copies.

Roufuss - what local Sears did you go to? Did you see any copies of Ninja Gaiden Black?

I went to the Tyrone Mall location, but they didn't have any NGB or anything else terribly interesting.

Tyrone Mall has NGB... it's on the bottom shelf of the Xbox games, there were still two copies there as of 8 pm when I went to Sears. The Tyrone Mall location has almost all the games except DQ 8, Castlevania, and some others.
