Tyrone Mall has NGB... it's on the bottom shelf of the Xbox games, there were still two copies there as of 8 pm when I went to Sears. The Tyrone Mall location has almost all the games except DQ 8, Castlevania, and some others.
Crap! I was there at around 7 pm, so I definitely missed them. Thanks, I'll have to head back tomorrow!
Crap! I was there at around 7 pm, so I definitely missed them. Thanks, I'll have to head back tomorrow!
There is a tag partially covering them up, it says $14.97.... they are on the ground, spine facing up, there is about 6 copies of Castlevania next to them.

^^^Are you kidding Elmyra? I cleaned up at the Tyrone Sears! I was there around 7:00pm too! Maybe we saw each other and didn't even know it. I was wearing a bulky Buccaneers jacket.

I scored an impressive haul there:

Burnout Revenge (Xbox) $14.97
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (Xbox) $19.97
Ninja Giaden Black (Xbox) $14.97
Battalion Wars (GC) $24.97
WarioWare Twisted! (GBA) $14.97
Virtua Tennis: World Tour (PSP) $9.97

They had plenty of copies of everything left!

What a haul! Only game I didn't get that I wanted was Dragon Quest VIII.

To think neither of you grabbed the real prize... those sealed Dark Alliance 2's :D

Just take the Sears printout for DQ 8 to Circuit City, can snag it there for 22.50 after the 110%, they have about 20 copies on the bottom row in the PS2 section.
There is a tag partially covering them up, it says $14.97.... they are on the ground, spine facing up, there is about 6 copies of Castlevania next to them.
Thanks for the additional info. I did see those price tags wrapped around the spines of some of the games, and must have passed the NGBs over.

Edit to GunstarRed: Okay, I also didn't see Burnout Revenge, which was the other game I was looking for. I must have been zoning or something. And no, I didn't see you - I was the only person in the game area when I was there.

Also, to Roufuss - I wasn't really looking for Dark Alliance 2. :D
goddamn if I only had a sears nearby, I would DEFINITELY buy either burnout or ninja gaiden. Lame and lame! What is the least amount someone would be willing to accept to pick up one of those games for me? I accidentally low-balled earlier in the thread, but in truth I basically would like to see if its possible to get one of those games for slightly better than the 21 or so I would actually pay to get them off sears.com...

I hate missing out on deals that are still going on :(
Hell, by the time you have somone pick one of those up, counting that person still has to pay taxes too, you add the $2 for shipping to package and send media mail, plus $1 more for someone taking the time to do it, you could've just bought online, and had it shipped UPS for $2 more.

$14.99 + Taxes= atleast a $1 ($16)

$2 for media mail shipping = ($18)

Give a $1 for doing it = ($19)

That's a long, pain in the butt way to go just to save $2

Those are some suck ass PSP prices... not even half off on a majority of the stuff.

So what is the point of this clearance sale? Is Sears just getting rid of most of its stock to take a minimal approach to gaming? The Sears I went to really weren't overcrowded with games (compared to a K-Mart or hell, even a Target / Wal-Mart), and didn't really have much of a selection... this sale will wipe them out almost completely.

Ordered DQ8, Burnout Revenge, Castlevania COD and Rallisport 2 online. My local Sears stores have a crap selection of games! Now, hopefully, I get everything I ordered! Thanks OP!
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I just picked up POP: The 2 thrones for just under $10 and Sears Las Vegas, NV.....I thought it was a decent deal.
You should have bought a few copies to trade or sell on here. That is a great price for that when the cheapest it could have been had for is 20 bucks before that 10 bucks you saw it at.

thanks for the list

I just got the Tennis game for the PSP... now all i got to do is buy a PSP LOL

picked up today

PSP tennis game 9.97
1GB memory card for PSP 49.99 (at best buy - price is dead now)

I will have a PSP by the end of may,,, waiting for a price drop and its just too freaking close to E3 to run out and buy one today

Today I grabbed

Mario VS DK (GBA) - $18
LoZ:LttP (GBA) - $5
Astro Boy (GBA) - $10

So three great GBA games for $33. Not bad.

They had a bunch of other stuff too. All the Eye Toys were $25.

Just picked up:

Pikmin - $9.97
Mario Power Tennis - $24.97
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Rebuplic II - $9.97
Fable - $9.97
Jade Empire - $9.97
NFL Street 2 - $9.97
PS2 Headset - $9.99

This Sears was an untouched paradise of clearance games. When the guy rang me up he said "Damn, I just bought this game for $16.99 last week (SW: KOTOR II).
To think neither of you grabbed the real prize... those sealed Dark Alliance 2's :D
Another lurker here must have read your post and bought ALL of the Dark Alliance 2's at that Sears. I went back today and now they're gone. There were at least 3 yesterday and they were NOT marked on the shelves, so someone had to have read your post to even know about it. Fess up, who was it that hoarded all of them???

Even more importantly, HOW did they buy them? I got the UPC printout from UPC Database and when I scanned it at Sears, it came up as not in the system (like several GBA games did in the last clearance). The shelf price was marked $49.99, so I figured the employees would just mark it at that since it won't scan.

Thanks wlau this is a great deal.

I went to Sears they were out of Ninja Gaiden Black and MK Shaolin Monks. I went to Circuit City and they pricematched Ninja Gaiden Black with it being out of stock for $14.14 (They were out of (MK Shaolin Monks). I was elated to get Ninja Gaiden Black. There is no telling when this game is going to drop to $20.

I would like to know what places will Circuit City match? Is it just the major retailers BB, TRU, Sears, EB, Gamestop, and Walmart? Or will they match any online store too?

Thanks in advance.

Couldn't convince them to sell me FFT:A at all so that sucked. It had no tag and wasn't on the site or in their db.

I did get FFI/II, KOTOR2, Batallion Wars, Mario Tennis (GC), Virtua Tennis, War of the Monsters ($1.99 in the bin), and Astro Boy (GBA). They're supposed to call me at some point and let me know the fate of those FFT:A copies.

Picked up Mario Party 6 for $24.97

Just about all (if not all) of the $49.99 first party GC games were half price.

Thanks for the post OP.
PS2 is missing Gran Turismo 4 for 24.97 as well!
Newest Gran Turismo 4 Online coming soon in Spring or Summer.

I bought two of them, one for me and one for a friend, don't know who grabbed the third one. I thought it was implied that I bought some, I'm not going to pass that up.

It was easy to buy them... I don't mess with UPC printouts, I just asked the employee to do a price check and it came up $24.97, since I followed a hunch that they would probably be cheaper.... there were more then three the first time I went, but I didn't check the price, only on my second trip back.

This is because the clearance just started on Sunday. So, many of the employees don't know about it yet.

Based on CC on rules they state that they accept any local competitor's ad as long as the company is within 50 miles of the store you are doing the price match. But this is YMMV because some honor this and some don't.

Thanks OP. Picked up Castlevania and LA Rush. While there ran into a guy from Slickdeals. If you live in Queens, NY you will find a bin full of games, but mostly greatest hits, and older games. I got the last Castlevania (ps2, one xbox version left), and most everything else was gone. Oh, and if you're a CAG, pm me and I'll tell you where the last Ninja Gaiden Black is in the store. I had no need to pick it up, but put it away in case a CAG was waiting to head there... I saw Black, and Battalion Wars (GC), and that's about it for the good stuff that was left over. They had a bunch of decent games by the registers, but the guy from SlickDeals (Maze) said they refused to sell them the games because they couldn't find them in the system. Oh well...

If you want a real steal... Ninja Gaiden is $39.99.

Picked up NG:Black for 15 at Jersey City, only the GBA and DS games were tagged, and there were plenty of the Midway Arcade games, Jade Empire, and other games in the $20 bin.

What are you guys who are PMing at CC or BB taking into the store? A print out of the online page? They're not noticing the "sold out" bit on the left side?
What are you guys who are PMing at CC or BB taking into the store? A print out of the online page? They're not noticing the "sold out" bit on the left side?
My CC/BB didn't have anything I wanted to PM, but if they say anything about it, just say it's in stock in the store. Its only the website that's sold out. If they care about whether its in stock or not, they'll call the store anyway, for better or worse.

I just printed out the description page when you click on the game. It shows the price and says while quantities last. DQ8 was in stock online when I went to CC to pricematch. No problems.

ok...i may need to beg my brother to try and get burnout revenge for me...out of all the games I really really want that one but i just dont see it happening...groan

Why is everyone getting so excited over Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2? Holy crap, I just checked eBay prices. Why does it go for so much?

Anyone know how much PS2 Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is going for in this sale?

Someone said they got one of the versions for $10, but I can't see how that was anything but a pricing error for a game that's out two or three months.

How are you guys actually price matching? Don't the games have to be advertised with a picture of the game? I haven't seen the sears add but how would you convince an employee to do a price match without the game being in the ad?

Circuit City price matches online prices.
Oh well...
why didnt you show me the NG:BLACK, i was looking for that game and i said am from gag and also slickdeals:D
No DQ8 at the local Sears ;(
Has anyone found a DQ8 at their respective sears stores? I'm lucky I had a friend PM a local CC for DQ8. Can't wait to play it.

Saw a couple of EyeToy games not on the list in Sears today. They were correctly tagged on the shelf:

EyeToy Kinetic w/ Camera (PS2) $24.97
EyeToy Operation Spy w/o Camera (PS2) $14.97

Nothing that exciting unless you must own every EyeToy game. EyeToy Play 2 w/ Camera was in the bin, but it's $39.99.
