Well, peteyrose all of the copies of KOTOR II at my local Sears are the copies without the PH packaging.
Yeah, but I'm just saying: be cautious if you're ordering from the website.

I went back to Sears today and it is still an untouched paradise. It's like no one has been there since I was there Tuesday.

Here are some more prices that I just remembered:

NES Classics Metroid $6.97 marked $9.99 2 copies
NES Classics Zelda II: The Adventure of Link $6.97 marked $9.99 5 copies

Also, there are a few of these left at my local Sears Fairlane Mall Dearborn, MI:

Jade Empire Xbox
MGS3 PS2
Forza Motorsports Xbox
KOTOR I Xbox (PH Packaging)
Astro Boy
Mario Golf: Advanced Tour
Virtua Tennis

Like I stated before no one really knows what is on sale because they aren't marked on sale but a few items are marked. Like most of the PSP games and GBA games are marked at my store but almost all of the Xbox games and PS2 games aren't.

And even better, who goes to Sears to buy games?

The Sears in Newport New Jersey have a small selection, but I still pick manage to pick some good stuff and save money on tax(dam expensive NYC tax). They still have dynasty warrior gba left over, metroid classic nes,pac roll, ridge ds and zelda ii classic nes.

i got

donkey kong 2 w/bongos
wario twisted
pac roll
yourself fitness xbox-7.97
taiko w/drums-9.97

Dam,several of wario twisted got busted up or have poke pen hole on them. The employee was trying to get the jaws of life release the game out of that small case.

Not sure if it was mentioned or not but I picked up a copy of Eye Toy Grove w/ Camera for $9.97. They also had a lot of copies of Ninja Gaiden Black if anyone in the Miami International Mall (Miami,FL) is interested in passing by there. It's a pain in the ass to get there with the terrible highway traffic.

The Sears at Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, MI has a PS2 hard drive just sitting there in a case among a bunch of PSP games. They also had Donkey Konga 2 with and without bongos, Astro Boy GBA, Zelda Four Swords, Yourself Fitness Xbox, Tiger Woods DS, Sprung, and plenty of other discounted PSP, PS2, Cube, Xbox, DS, and GBA games that I cannot remember. They were all in the glass case and marked.

I guess it just baffles me that no one else from my area is on CAG.

There are a lot of CAGs near me in my area, I'm always the last to get on the deals. Will these games be marked with clearance tags or will they be disguised/hidden with the rest of the games?

Finally! Star Fox Assault will be mine! This has been one of the longest waits for a game...seriously. I've been watching trailers for that game since day 1 of the gamespot previews. Now, I just have to go find Sears that has it and SFA without a Best Seller logo (ugh, ugly man).

isn't it star fox adventures that is players choice?
isn't it star fox adventures that is players choice?
The Best Seller logo is the little emblem that goes on games that they don't want to move down to Player's Choice pricing/label: Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Power Tennis, SSBM, Star Fox Assault, etc. The copies of Star Fox at my store didn't have Best Seller.

I preordered Paper Mario, it has the Best Seller's logo. I doubt a game that had not even been out yet was qualified for a Player's Choice title. Why anyone would care about this little logo is beyond me, but I guess it's important to collector's.

These games aren't clearance they are just on sale and some are marked as such and many of the cheaper ones aren't so I would compile a list of games from the ones mentioned in this thread that I would want so I know exactly how much it is.

Well, the Fairlane Mall in Dearborn, MI has basically been wiped out of the higher price titles even though they never had NG: Black or DQVIII in stock at that store but they did have Battefield 2 for Xbox, NBA Street Vol. 3 for PS2, and Burnout Revenge for Xbox. But they have several of the cheaper games in a bin sitting in the middle of the floor with none of them actually marked on sale like MGS3: Snake Eater PS2, Forza Xbox, Jade Empire Xbox, F Zero GX Gamecube, MechAssualt 2 Xbox, KOTOR & KOTOR II Xbox, and Astro Boy GBA.

Well, yeah, they did that too. Mario Power Tennis was designed with the logo as well. I don't care about it either, but then I'm not really bothered by PC packaging.

I just think they look ugly. Having the Best Seller is like going to visit Vicki alone at her house on a Friday night.

Without the Best SEller, it's likevisiting Vicki and she opens the door wearing nothing but a long shirt. HEHE

The SEARS Employees in Hanes Mall in Winston Salem, NC are either assholes or retards.

Me: "Hey, can I get a price check on Ninja Gaiden Black?"
E1: "What? X-what?"
Me: "...Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox"
E1: "OK ..what game? LA Rush?"
Me: *points*
E1: "Ah, well, that game was $39.99, now it's $30, the price is going down slowly" *OBVIOUS because the PRICE TAG SAYS $30*
Me: "..................................alright.....thanks"

They knew NOTHING of this clearance sale =/ Burnout Revenge even rang up $25...

Conker for $10 is a deal. If I didn't alreay have this, I'd buy it. Not into the shooting part, but I think worth it just for the reloaded Bad Fur Day.

Wow, really? Odd that they didn't ring up the sale prices like every other Sears so far. Print out the webpage and go in and show it to them.

A Sears tried to do this to me with Mario Party 6... they just read the old sale tag and said "Oh, it's $39.99" and I said "Well, can we at least scan it to make sure? I read the tag pretty well, and I'm sure it comes up $24.97".

It did come up the right price, and the employee apologized for just reading the sign like I was stupid.

why even ask them? i never believe those employees and i just grab the game and pay it at the cashiers. if it rings up different than what I expected, i just ask nicely to void that item

I agree with that, it's almost useless asking for a price check because if it's not tagged at the lower price the employee will almost never believe that the game is less than the sticker/shelf tag price.

I know of no Sears store anywhere near me that sells video games. If some ultra-super-duper person would be kind enough to find the $25 Donkey Konga 2 with bongos for me and put up with me not knowing exactly how to pay them back (I've got the money, no problem, I'm just not familiar with crap like.. Paypal and whatnot? y'know), that'd be awesome. heh. :)

Made out pretty good at the South Shore Mall, Long Island Sears...

Burnout Revenge (one left after I took one) - 15
ICO (last one) - 10
Conker (in a bin, probably last one) - 10
Links 2004 - 5
MVP 2005 - 3 (!!!!)
Tiger Woods 2005 - 3 (!!!!)

I guess its YMMV on those sports games. There were still plenty of them, also Amped 2, Kirbys Air Ride ($10, hadn't seen it listed here), Advance Wars DS, Mario Pinball GBA was $17, etc.

Wow my store had some crazy odd prices. Most games where discounted, but not as deep as the posted prices (ex: Burnout Revenge was still $30). I did get Super Mario Sunshine for $10 so i am pretty happy. My store also had a TON of wario ware twisted at $15 but thats better to PM to Circiut City to get the extra 10% off.

Finally got "Conker: Live and Reloaded" today for $8.99 (with 10% off Sears card discount), so I was amazingly able to find every game on the list I wanted! Wish I could have saved the 10% on the games I bought earlier this week, but most of them are gone now. At least I got them so I can't really complain.

Other games I saw not on the list:

Freedom Fighters (PS2) $9.97
Rumble Roses (PS2) $7.97 --- I know this is cheaper at CC, but it's much harder to find one there than at Sears.

I went to Sears about three days ago and picked up the following EA Sports titles for $5: Madden 2005, NCAA Football 2005, MVP Baseball 2005. I also picked up Links 2004 for $2.97. I went back there today and the already low prices had dropped even more. All EA Sports 2005 titles were lowered to $2.97, and Links 2004 was lowered to $1.97. I also found MVP 2004 baseball by EA for $0.97, March Madness 2005 and Tiger Woods Golf 2005 for $2.97. Another honorable mention was Champions of Norrath II for $2.97 , which just a day ago was $6.97. I bought 22 games for $75.00. Sweet!!!!!

I assumed those EA 2005 sport games are for Xbox because in my Sears, the PS2 aren't marked like that. Only Xbox games do.

The Sears in Monroeville, PA, still has plenty left. Picked up:

Top Spin $10
Rallisport 2 $10
Sonic Mega Collection (xbox) $10
Ico $10
Need for Speed UR (PSP) $20

There were more of all of these left, except for Rallisport. Also saw numerous other games already mentioned.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, didn't feel like browsing through all of the pages, but at the Maplewood, MN Sears, Batallion Wars is also on sale with the actual price sale tag of $24.xx, just like Star Fox Assault. Not a bad price! However, my gf would only allow one game, so I opted for Star Fox Assault (w/o Best Seller, of course). Final Fantasy Tactics Adv. was price tagged at $17.97. Ahhhh...all too bad I don't have a lot of money. 4 copies left of FFTA as of yesterday, 4:00pm central, when I checked out.

Maplewood, MN Sears -

Wierd. Batallion Wars also same price as the other $24.xx games. Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced was late, as it finally had the price tag of $17.97 slapped on the shelf. I already have Tactics Ogre and original FFT, so why bother, eventhough it's a great price.

For the MD CAGer out there, Hunt Valley has a ton of stuff (by far the best location) if you are interested. I was there last Wednesday and they had:
FF XI bundles
Virtua Tennis
Starfox Assalut
Kirby Air Ride
WarioWare Twisted
Jade Empire
Champions of Norrath for only $6.97
This is a just what I remember, they really had a nice selection.
Jade empire is good at that price is it the same for the LE version?
no, i have yet to see an le version.

Just to let folks know the Sears at the Concorde Mall on RT 202 (near PA, Delaware border) has quite a lot still left.

I went on Monday and again today, picked up

Battlefront 2 - XBX (19.97) plenty left
Virtua Tennis - PSP ($9.97) plenty left
Mario Golf - GC ($9.97) OOS
Pikmin - GC ($9.97) OOS
Zelda 4 Swords - GC (marked $4.97) Got this for free cos it's no longer in the system  , there was still a copy with GBA cable for $29.99
SVC Chaos - XBX ($3.97) one left I think
Wario Ware Twisted (14.97) plenty left.
R:Racing Evolution - XBX ($3.88) plenty left
Taiko Drum Master w/Drum controller PS2 - This was marked $19.97 (not sale price) but rung up for $9.97

Also got Castlevania, MK Shaolin Monks and Ninja Gaiden Black fron sears.com.

They had Ninja Gaiden Black marked at $24.97, I didn't check but I'm guessing it will ring up at $14.97.

No Ico, Baldurs Gate 2 or DQ8, but pretty much everything else mentioned on this thread was there.

any san diego CAGers find anything good? im wondering if should go out of my way to go other sears stores besides the one here in chula vista (which had good shit by the way).

Signed up for a Sears card yesterday and got Battlefield(XBOX) for ~$19 and Wario Ware: Twisted for ~$14 because of a 10% discount they were running. They also said something about a $10 credit on my first bill, anybody with a Sears card know anything about that or how I can check my balance before I get my card in the mail(I'd like to pay it off ASAP)? Thanks.

Also, am I reading it wrong, or is Sears.com offering a rebate for your shipping and handling cost for? Search for a game and in the search window click "available rebates" under the price.

Checked my Sears yesterday at Arbor Place Mall in GA. They didn't have much, but they did have an FFXI with HDD. I didn't know it was on sale, so I passed it up. Dammiit to hell. I hope it's still there when I come back next week.

^^^ The paperwork they gave you should have had that info. If you know the entire account number from the papers, you can check your balance at www.SearsCard.com or 24-hour automated balance info at 1-800-917-7700. The Sears card has a 30-day grace period (not average daily balance), so you should be okay until the bill comes.

When I opened my account, they simply deducted $10 from the first bill and had it filed as a credit.

Went to a Sears in Fort Lauderdale, FL last week and found nothing. Went to Sears in Plantation, there was nothing. So today, I gave it one last shot and went to the Sears in Pembroke Pines. There were 2 bins with a bunch of games. Checked the first bin and found about 10 copies of Wrath Unleashed (rang up for $2.97) for PS2 and Xbox. Also saw many Midway Arcade Treasures, and two copies of ICO (I picked up 1 for $9.97). I had ICO, but my copy has an ugly Blockbuster sticker on the disk. I also saw copies of Mortal Kombat Deception for Xbox (Collector's Edition) and Yourself Fitness for Xbox. Not sure what the price on those games are. Still looking for FFXI with the hard drive. I figure $49 is not bad. If i keep on getting memory cards for my PS2, it's gonna cost me well over $49. Gotta love xbox for the hard drive.

I was able to pick up War of the Monsters for $10. I've been looking for game for a while, it's great I was able to find it for so cheap. I don't think it's new print of the game since it still has the sony steal sticker at the top. These were probably old copies they finally put out. They also had one Metal Gear Solid 3 for $10.

Wow, beat you to it. I picked up the last copy they had of FFXI w/ Hardrive they had in the case. Sorry dude. I'm going to check the one in Aventura Mall tomorrow and hope to find one even though it's probably unlikely.
