To me, being a CAG means buying over 250 games in the last year and a half, despite needing a new computer, a new car, and having just lost my job, and not feeling the least bit guilty about it!

yeah so I didn't read, anyway being a CAG is all about the people that share my same interests and help spread gaming to the masses!!

CAG is awesome, cause it does all the legwork for me! Finds all the best deals from both the internet and from in-store locations. I've saved alot of money on both software and hardware... thanks!

Been visiting the site for a while and never bothered registering for the forums until recently. This site is an awesome resource to find great deals and to share them as well.

CAG rules. It's updated, the forums are helpful, and the site is just overall way cool. Do people still say "way cool" anymore?

Being a member of CAG means I get to read about awesome deals, honest opinions and reviews, and downright funny crap! I check it every day, even on my cellphone!

Being a CAG means finding any possible way to save money on a game, which makes playing the games that much more fun. Also, its a community full of other cheapasses taking time out of their day to share their deals with you, knowing that we're just as poor as they are...

Being a CAG means bothering the clerks at Circuit City into double-checking the price on every single game on the shelf.

I missed this thread the first time around. Blame my absence.

To me, being a CAG means I get to both grow and show off my enormous game collection to jealous friends.

Friends:"Wow, you sure have a lot of games!"

Me:"Yes, and I paid twelve dollars and thirty three cents for the whole lot."

Friends:"Holy shit!"

Being a cheapassgamer means sharing those deals that are just too good to pass on with your fellow cheapies, being considerate (to both other CAG's and the poor employees who have to put up with us), never paying retail, giving the sweetest birthday presents on the block (no one has to know those x-box games only ran u 4.99 a piece right?), taking pride in always being one of the first to know about a killer deal and helping the "full retail" people in your life see the light of cheapness in all it's immaculate beauty ;)

Awesome Web site. It's a one-stop shopping point for the best in video-gaming. I greatly appreciate all the research and Web checks.... Keep up the great work!

Being a cheapassgamer means making car/mortgage payments, taking the wife out to dinner, and buying tons of excellent games all without going completely broke!

Well, I have been a member for a few months now. I originally found out about it through a letter someone wrote in to EGM about finding cheap games. A few years ago I used to be a real forum adict over at IGN (before they started charging) and now these are the only boards I use. The hard work that goes into this site really shines through and seems to save alot of people some serious money. It has remained a great community and one that I am proud to be a part of.

CAG means I can buy games again. Ever since I picked up the mortgage payment a few months back I was unable to buy games anymore because of the cost. Thanks to the thriftyness of CAG I can pick up those $5 and $10 games that I would never have found otherwise. Thanks CAG!

CAG means people helping each other out to maximize our gaming dollars. Of course I have more games than I know what to do with thanks to this site :) - but I've saved lots of money :D - and that's what being a cheapass is all about.

Dear Cheap Ass Gamer.com

I remember when I first realized that I was a CAG, I was so ashamed; I did not tell anyone, not even my best friend - I felt so . . . so dirty!!!!

But then CAG.com came along and made me realize that being a CAG was something that set me apart and made me special - it made me realize that it was something I should be proud of.

Now tell everyone that I am a CAG and how proud I am for being special. And you know what I have discovered? That as I tell more and more people about being a CAG, that there more people out there than I could have imagined who are all CAGs. People whom I respect, like my pastor and my boss and even my parents have finally come out of the closet and admitted to being CAGs.

Thank you Cheap Ass Gamer.com for this wonderful gift you have made me aware of about myself. You have truly turned my world around and my life is so much fuller and happier now that I know it is okay to accept and openly express my CAGiness. Thank you again, CAG.com.

Yours Truly,
Core 238
