$20 off 3 Bluray Movies Coupon @ BB UPDATED Expires 1/14/08
Is this YMMV or has everyone been successful with it?
As long as you're a reward zone member, this should work for everyone.

Can you tell me how I can be one of those members ? Also does that mean if I get 3 bluray movies worth 30 each, in total I only would spent 30 dollars ? 10 dollars each ?

20 off the purchase of 3.

30+30+30-20=70

This is not complicated. Get a RewardZone card at Best Buy for free and read the coupon.

Unless there's another buy-1-get-1-free sale before it expires, and it will actually stack, I don't see this as much of a deal - considering BB's inflated prices.

Thanks anyway OP.

all for me!

with the 20 off it comes out to 14 bucks a pop for ratatouille, spiderman 3 and pirates of the caribbean in better than theater high def glory. Thank the maker for Hd-dvd competition. The only titles I'm bummed about not getting are transformers and hot fuzz but the benefit of 10-15 dollar high def discs far outweigh the sacrifice. I wonder how much money these corporate giants are losing at all? I mean they've made all the revenue off the movie from box office, tv syndication, dvd rentals, dvd purchases, and all the other myriad misc revenue streams like payperview and on demand. I wonder if when they get to blu-ray replication the cost is just the manufacturing of the disc itself which is 35 cents and packaging which would bring it to a dollar and then shipping and handling which would be another buck. so they lose 2 bucks but gain 13-40 and split that with the retailer. Not too bad.

Coupon worked fine today at BB with your reward zone card.

Got Superbad, Potter 5, Oceans 13, all on sale

Thanks for the coupon

Totally worked (I had the original Reward's Zone coupon). Got Masters of Horror V4 ($24.99), Rataouille, and PotC- At Worlds End for $47 total with tax. I wanted Super Bad, but they didn't have it in stock so I got MoH V4. I have another coupon so I am going to head out to another BB to see if I can get a few more.

The $20 Best Buy Blu Ray coupon is YMMV... My story:

Got to Best Buy (Palisades Mall) at 10am. Found the lone copy of SuperBad. Couldn't find Pirates 3 or Ratatouille. Had a clerk check inventory, and they have 4x each. Still, he couldn't find them. This takes 20 minutes. I then grabbed two other movies just so I could use the coupon. I go to the cashier, and it doesn't take anything off. They ask me to go to customer service. Customer service tells me the coupon doesn't work because the Blu Rays are on sale (in their opinion, special offer = sale). I told them that it should have nothing to do with it being on sale. Annoyed, I ask them to scan three regularly priced Blu Rays to see if it works. It doesn't. They start telling me how the coupon is probably fake. I ask them to scan my reward zone card. They do, and now it takes the $20 off. I ask them to do it for an order including SuperBad and two regularly priced movies, and it takes the $20 off (just to see if it works). It does.
Its now 10:45am.

So we all agree that the coupon is legit, and it can work on sale items. I then tell them that I would like to only purchase SuperBad, Departed, and SpiderMan 3. They ring it up, and the coupon does not work. They start reading it for a fourth time and tell me that it won't work on sale items (forgetting it just worked on an order with SuperBad). They start laughing to themselves. Its now 11am. I tell them that I'm tired of waiting around, and that I'm going to call corporate. They told me thats a great idea, and even recite the phone # to me in a condescending way. I ask for their names, get them, and walk out.

Am I out of line to call corporate and complain about the following?:

1). Store inventory inaccurate
2). Employees unwilling to honor the coupon (they can override)
3). Daring me to call corporate

Thoughts? Its more principle than anything now.

You aren't out of line at all. It's not like they won't just go across the street to Wal-Mart and get a job if they got fired (which is HIGHLY doubtful).

I just got back from BB with Ratatouille, PotC 3, and Waiting. They didn't have anymore Superbad so I just went with Waiting even tho I have a feeling that movie might be in a B1G1 soon. Now all I need is a Blu-ray player to play these movies

Just called to complain. They're issuing me a $20 gift card, and forwarding my comments to the store mgr.

The CSR did stand by the fact that coupons can not be used on sale items. Has anyone been able to use the coupon without cashier override on 3 on sale blu rays?

Youre a fucking idiot. It didnt work because it takes off 20 bucks.

HOWEVER FOR IT TAKE OFF 20 you have to have an item OVER 20 bucks for the coupon to work. It then takes off 7.33 of each item. Its like with reward zone coupons, if you have 20 in rz money and try to buy something 19.99 they wont let you.

You bitched and got a 20 dollar giftcard for freaking stupidity.

Good fucking job

do you work for BB or something??? It's their fault if that's really the case. the coupon says "$20 off when you buy ANY 3 blu ray's". It doesn't give limitations or anything. Their fault and due to bait and switch laws they are obligated to honor it unless they put a corporate sign out stating that the particular coupon has to be used on anything 19.99 or above.

I ain't ever shopping at bestbuy again. First of all, I go there early in the morning and the first bestbuy doesn't even have ratatouille or Superbad in stock. How can you not have the thing you advertised in stock when you open? I can understand having at least 3 copies in the morning but NONE!!!!!???? that's fucking false advertising. My time is money. I spent time to go to bestbuy and they didn't have it. THen I went to a second bestbuy where they had two of the movies I wanted in stock but not the third which is ratatouille. So I had to buy a movie that I didn't really want. Then I went to the cashier and they wouldn't take the coupon cause it wouldn't scan at 3 sale priced blu-rays even after the reward zone fiasco. it would only take off 20 off the regular priced blu-rays and they would not over ride it. I spent an hour going to two bestbuys and didn't end up getting anything. THEY SUCK AND I HOPE THEIR MOTHERS SUCK DICK IN HELL. You can't get 3 19.99 Blu-rays. You need to have 2 19.99 and at least one 24.99 or regular priced blu-ray for it too work. That brings the total to 16 bucks a blu-ray and that aint worth it.

when i used the coupon earlier i had no problem whatsoever...got Superbad, High School Musical and Galagopos...it took the $20 of of Galagopos to make it $4.99 and left the other 2 at $19.99

MY BB had every movie that was on sale, and tons of them. If you want ratatouie just wait til next week when toys r us gets them in, ratatouie/cars is bogo, so are the pirates and such.

My store had at least 10 copies of each at 6pm today. I got POTC AWE, Underdog, and Night at the museum for 55. Great deal ^_^

I bought three of the sale items. the coupon scanned ok. The receipt showed the first two at $19.99 and the last, the new Harry Potter, at $4.99, $20 off the sale price of $24.99.

In addition I used the $5 off the Disney BD for Rat. The cashier called somebody over becasue she didn't know what button to press. Didn't even try to say it was two coupons for one purchase. The store had no Superbads though.

As others have said you can't get 3 of the Blu-Rays on sale for 19.99 with this coupon. You can get 2 of them and the third movie has to be at least 24.99 for the coupon to work. My BB was out of Pirates 3, so I got Superbad (last copy), Live Free or Die Hard, and Ghost Rider and the coupon worked.

When I got to the cashier she saw the coupon and saw Superbad at the top of the stack and told me the coupon wouldn't work. I asked for a manager and an operations sup came over and read the coupon with the cashier saying it wouldn't work earlier. The sup asked if she had tried it with me and she said no, so he said go ahead and try it and sure enough it worked. Got them for 54.97 plus tax.

In terms of keeping a stock of the sale items, I got the last copy of Superbad and the second-to-last copy of Die Hard 4 in the Blu-Ray main section (found some other copies of DH4 by the Blu-Ray players.) They were out of Pirates 3 and I did a search on the store terminal and none of the 8 BB's within 30 miles had any either. This was 5-6 p.m. central. I had to go to CC across the street to PM Pirates 3 (they had 4 copies left.) On the HD-DVD side, I got the last copies of Kingdom, Shooter, and Balls of Fury.

worked fine for me at the south coast plaza best buy even though the guy at the register was a flippin idiot and the "senior csr" looked at the coupon like five times.

at first it wouldnt apply untl the idiot realized he had to put in my rewards zone phone number

on a side note, best buy did a fantastic job of absolutely not stocking any movies they had advertised for the lower price and an even better job of making sure the inventory tracker on their website was completely wrong.

in the end i got superbad (19.99), ratarouille (19.99), and march of the penguins (24.99) for 46 or 47 dollars. i wanted casino royale but they of course sold out.

Well, my Best Buy was completely out of: Casino Royale, Live Free or Die Hard, Ratatouille, PotC 3 and just about any other disk worth getting. Total waste of time imo.

Does anyone know about how often BB restocks? Is it worth it for me to check back later in the week?

Not sure but you can check BestBuy.com for the item you want and check their inventory of which stores by you have what you want in stock to buy B&M.

I'm with wormraper - didn't realize that one item had to be over $20 since it says nothing of the sort on the coupon. Hey, you learn something new everyday.

By the way Ice2Dragon, how would have liked people to react the same way to you about your PS3/PS2 guitar question? Compatibility has been "common knowledge" for quite awhile, but you didn't see anyone go all over you the same way and were in fact, supportive of your question about something that was not necesarily assumed or repeated often.

Classy.
Ok, I bought Superbad when it came out (december 4th). Can I bring the receipt and get $10 bacl (because I paid $30 for it).
yes. you have 30 days from time of purchase to price match it. so if you bought it on the 4th you should have until this wednesday to get your money back.

thanks for this coupon, I am going to use it when I buy Resident Evil, Shoot em Up, and War on Tuesday.

I instored superbad sunday morning to make sure I'd get a copy, so I should have one. Though last time I used instore pickup they got the DVD version down for me...

So basically I plan on picking that up with Shoot 'Em Up and a placeholder for 3:10 to Yuma which comes out the day after the coupon expires. Pick up my three movies Jan. 1, and then exchange dummy movie Jan 8th.
