thats a bullshit call
I can't believe they called Stackhouse for a flagrant on that one. It was Johnson's fault for hanging on the rim. Stackhouse barely touched him. I'm not sure if it was even a foul at all.

Whew! What a game! I can't say how happy I am that Dallas is now going home after winning one on the road. Hopefully, we can take care of business at home and go back to Phoenix 3-1!

Good game Mavs!

:applause::applause::applause::applause:
Mavs awesome game,

Finley came up big 2nd half, Dampier played like a NBA player in the first half, Terry came alive in the 4th for 6 points in a min. Dirk Huge clutch shot. Damn this team makes me nervouse.

PHX is set up. Man thier guys are all in foul trouble. Hopefully Dallas drives all over them in the third and gets some people pulled out of the game early (as in riding the bench with 4)

straight up, that shit was fuckin horrible. It was so bad I changed the channel. How in the hell do you go 1-15 shooting from behind the arc?

and can Dirk and Terry start making some shots?
Are you a Mavs fan? Or do you just dislike the Suns?
I am originally from right outside Dallas, so pretty much every team from Dallas I root for

Lol. I think hes a Mavs fan. I'm rooting for the Suns because i hate the Mavs, though Im not a Suns fan. (but they are fun to watch) The Mavs need to study some of the Warriors tapes from the end of the season. We did something right to beat them twice in two consecutive meetings. I think one of the Warriors/Suns game that we won set the record for most 3s attempted which was broken a few weeks later in a Warriors/Blazers game.

That's right, I forgot you are a Cowboys fan (I'm a Skins fan :booty: ).

my uncle is a Redskin's fan as well.

Hell Joe Gibbs was up at the Home Depot right up the street from my house the other day, and I did not go because I would have nothing nice to say (though I do feel for a team that can't do anything on offense and has an amazing defense)
Geez...Amare is just destroying people out there. I haven't seen this many people getting dunked on and blocked in a long time.
Man, this game was horrible.

The reason why Amare is getting so many easy baskets is because the weak side help never, ever comes over to help the guy guarding Amare off the pick and roll. When that happens, he turns and has an open lay up. There should be someone contesting that shot.

I don't mind them giving up that shot really, because the amount of turnovers the Suns have trying to run that play is astronomical. If Dallas was able to capitalize on them, it would have been a huge Dallas win. Dallas' problem is shooting the ball.
there's no contesting amare
he was going straight for them tonight, and he was one angry brother.

holy crap was he good.
It's not like Amare is some kind of NBA superstar. The guy is pretty good, but he's getting so many easy shots by Dallas' lack of physical defense and excellent passes by Nash.

He is more than pretty good. A whole lot of NBA players would get easy baskets if PGs would play like true PGs by passing first and thinking of their own shot second. Plus, all those blocks and rebounds are all Amare. He's not just an athlete either. He has a good jump shot and shoots freethrows well. Basically he plays like a big man should. He doesn't go up softly and he plays good defense and he runs the floor well.

That is part of why Dirk is having trouble. He is a 7 foot guy with a killer fadeaway but he missed several layups because he wasn't taking the ball to the hole strongly. He has taken it strong in the past and he needs to do it now if the Mavs are going to win.

I don't have one team I follow anymore. I was a Charles Barkley fan so I always followed his teams. I was also a HUGE Alozno Mourning fan (big Georgetown fan) so really the CHARLOTTE Hornets were my favorite team. Once they moved it broke my heart. They are such trash now.

I didn't care who won as long as the Lakers didn't.

George Shinn is a piece of shit
George Shinn is a piece of shit
I agree 100% with that.

Hell at this point I'll reiterate what guyver2077 said...."Go Heat!" I'd like to see Zo get a championship.

Mavs up by 16. They are looking good tonight and are keeping insane pressure on Amare. He hasn't had a good look all night. The Dallas D is stifling Nash and he just doesn't seem to know what to do.

hopefully it continues and the shooting does not go cold in the second half
Man Nash is sick this game with 46 points with 7+ mins left in the fourth. I hope mavs can pull this off tonight
Nash played good. Dallas' plan was to make him shoot and not give up the pick and roll, but Nash did his job by making all the shots. Hopefully he won't do that in game 5.

I've really liked how Armstrong is playing Nash. We need a guy with the quickness to match Nash.

I really think the Suns starters are going to show signs of wearing down pretty soon, especially Nash. I don't think they'll be able to go seven games having to play 40 minutes a night. It's just too much, and we all know about Nash's back.

I rather have him hit 40, rather then him hiot 16 and amarie 40+ and get his team involved

anyone been watching the Pacers/ Pistons series?

Its been pretty good so far. I think that Indiana actually has a good chance to steal another game and maybe even the series if they catch Detroit sleeping again (they just need to shoot better)

Yeah, I am not suprised at all. Detroit just doesn't seem like the same team that won the Finals last year. I just think it's funny though cause someone long ago when this thread started picked Boston to beat the Pacers in 4 games. WTF!!?! Whoever it was was all over the Pacers weak bench and how Bostons was so much better, yet the Pacers bench outscored the Celtics bench in the series by 17 points per game or something. Big whoops on that one I guess. The Pacers can go 11 deep and that is really helping them now.
hopefully Dallas can bounce back friday
Yeah, I hope so too. I'd like my upset prediction to come true. :D
