Because Brad Childress doesn't want the Vikings to win.
Forget Lane Kiffin and Marvin Lewis being in the hot seat. Childress needs to get the fuck out of Minnesota.

Childress is NOT the Vikings problem.. obviously the offense they run isn't right for Jackson.. they need to get the OC and Jackson into a room and work on a playbook.. similar thing happened with Kordell in Pittsburgh..

Ok.
But who the hell decided to put Tarvaris Jackson in? Sure, Frerotte made serious errors. However, he played a great game against one of the best defenses in the league.
All Tarvaris did was get sacked twice.
AND Adrian Peterson should have run the ball at LEAST 20-25 times, and Chester Taylor another 10-15 times.

I'm not too upset though.
I mean, the first 5 games of our schedule is insane. Then it gets much better.

New Orleans on Monday night next week!

I think all of the teams in the NFL should look at the Jags.A 2 back system where both backs could easily be the starter. One a little bigger one a little faster. But if you do that you must commit to rushing a little more.

I think the Viking are suffering from Michael Jordan Syndrome. A condition in which you are so amazed at the talent of a person that you simply just stare at them waiting for them to do something on their own.

AP is a freak of nature at running back but that doesnt mean you can just hand him the ball a few times and expect them to break 4 or 5 runs out. Help him out a little.

Well...at least the rest of the NFC North is garbage. It seems like the Packers commit to something pre-game and if it doesn't work they still stick with it. Last year against the Cowboys they threw like 8 screen passes for 3 yards.

I always thought the same about the Lions and Barry Sanders...

HaHA!

Weak ass Chargers looking horrid as always. LDT is so lucky the division they are in are straight trash. Any other division and he wouldnt be half as good proven by the fact that whenever they step out they get popped in the mouth with the quickness.

Man I hope the cowgirls lose. Just so I can see the faces of their dumbass fans.

"The Boys are God's team we are the best in all of the NFL No one can stand up to us!"

You mean just in the regular season right? Beacuse you havent won a play off game in like 8 years.

"But you dont understand Romo is the greatest, TO is the greatest...."

Yeah....in the regular season.

"Wa....ua.....fuck you man. We are Gods team!"

Soodmeg you seem to be the biggest hater in these football thread. Why must you hate so much? Jealousy? What is the point of hating so much?

Raiders are playing well. Up 15-0 on San Diego early in the 3rd.

Hope they keep it up and don't choke in the 4th like they did last week!

Jealousy of what? A football team that none of us have any relation to other than watching them on tv? Its not that serious.

Actually I like many teams, if you look you will see that I "hate" (god I wish that word would just die already" on the same teams over and over again. And I praise just as many people that I hate on. Your just ignoring when I do and focusing on when I dont. Its actually about the same.

Its less "hating" and simply saying things that everyone knows. Plus its mindless football talk. It really doesnt go any deeper than that.

Football sunday...have a little fun will ya.

He is. He hated on the Pats last year as well. Actually he is always complaining about something. I'm pretty sure he's the dude that freaks out when EPSN talks about Favre as well.

They are looking really good. But more power to them. Hopefully they chewed their dinner up good so we dont see choke again.

Whoa Whoa Whoa. I never hated on the Pats. I like the Pats. My teams, Titans>>>>>>>>>>>Pats>>Jags.

I dont know if I am complaining all the time.......but I do voice my displeasure in things. Like people named pimpinc.

And yes the ESPN Farve love is just to much. We all know it.

I know it's not serious , I guess it's just that I'm a chargers fan and I'm not used to seeing anyone dislike them that much(I don't even know anyone that likes them here in Ohio) to the point I've never seen you say anything positive about them.

It's cool though I know shit talking it just something players and fans do. I guess it's my way of pointing you out for jabbing at the only team I follow.;)

Its all good.

Pretty muched missed all of the 49ers game since I was nursing a hangover but I did see JTO throw 2 interceptions inside the endzone. :wall:

Damn, the Raiders picked Rivers again! The Chargers need to get a running game going here to get some balance going. I wonder how bad LT's turf toe is going to affect him for the season..

I don't think the Raiders will ever be great again until Al Davis either sells the team or passes away. I assume the latter is what will end up happening. I think it's a similar situation to the Lions, where the ownership is the main cause for the teams issues..
I have no idea how Kiffin has lasted this long either.
Davis wants him to quit so he doesn't get paid. Kiffin won't do it and will have to be fired.

Personally, I hope Davis dies before he gets around to firing him as I think Kiffin has a lot of promise if he's allowed to run the team the way he wants (i.e. firing Rex Ryan, not drafting Russell #1 etc.).

My God I am a moron... In one of my FF leagues I started Trent Edwards over Brett Favre. Instead of winning by over 40 pts it looks like I will lose by one!:dunce::wall::wall::wall:In my other league (my $$$ league) I am getting absolutely slaughtered b/c my opponent has Brees, L. Coles, Jennnings, and Bolden.

Yeah that bum was bound to have a break out game sooner or later.

But I think this just proves that the Raiders are a fucking madden team and thats it. Only good for being a cheesers dream in madden.

HELL YES!!! HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!! :) :) :)

There were some bad calls (and that Jones neckbreaker no call for us) that were inexcusable (hold on the late Dallas TD, the hold on the call that Rabach fell down on a second into the play, as well as being 'illegally' 1 yard past the line of scrimmage.

The Panthers game...not much you can say about that one. Even if it was poorly officiated, it wouldn't have changed the game. But guess who was the lead official for that one?

Also, did anyone catch the 76 yard field goal attempt by the Raiders?

I did. I laughed my ass off as he kicked it, but he did get some distance:lol:

You're not alone. I did the exact same thing not in one league, but two. If I'd known Adrian Wilson wasn't going to play for Cardinals, I might have started Favre. I'm having horrible luck this season, so it wasn't surprising I managed to fuck something else up.

Whoever told me to put Jennings out for Edwards must die!!

I'm praying that Jackson does hot for the 2nd half cause right now, it looks like I will get crushed.

Told ya :)
Redskins defense is brittle as hell. Mofo's need to drink more milk there is a guy injured every other play.
They all look fresh out of high school.

Right after Gus got knocked down when he threw that interception his arm started to bleed. That pretty much explains why TJ went in.

Chicago wins! 24-20. What a great night for the defense (as long as Charles Tillman wasn't too badly shaken up after that one play). That goal line stop was just this side of "insane" on the Epic meter.

What a great game, finally they don't give one up in the 4th quarter. Go Bears!

Thanks demo man. The game wasn't on tv here in Ontario, so I was watching the lines move across on NFL.com. All of a sudden I saw "T. Jackson" and I was like "what the fuck?"

Also, OMG its a week of upsets. Horrible in my football pool (I was in second too. Hopefully everybody else did a terrible job as well).
