You know I wish i could find that clip of when Aaron Brooks threw that pass backwards like 30 yards.

Shit was funny as hell.
I tried to find last week but cannot for the life of me find it. I really want to see that. If anyone knows where it can be seen, post up a link.

Well, I'm starting Rivers over Brees, and Jones-Drew over Westbrook this week. I don't know if I should put in Edwards in though. If I do, I would need to take out either Boldin, Jennings or D. Jackson. Any suggestions?

Jennings. Take him out.

Jackson has hit a 100 2 out of the last 3 days and the Bears are 28th in pass defense they are sure to get burned at least 3 or four times.

Edwards over Jennings?

No way, Jennings is going over 100 yards every game, and Rodgers throws to him a ton so he is bound to get a few touchdowns one of these days. Not to mention he had one stolen from him by James Jones against the Lions.

Even though I think Braylon Edwards if finally have a good game (I'm starting him at W/R, because of byes and injuries), there is no reason to take out a proven WR to put him in.

Joey Harrington is a free agent... again. Poor guy is the definition of journeyman quarterback if there ever was one. He's like the Kenny Lofton of football.

Kenny Lofton was actually a decent MLB player though. Harrington is 3rd stringer at best.

He may become the next Rick Mirer. After he busted out (twice, once with the Seahawks then a second time when the Bears gave up a 1st round pick for him :wall:) he hung around the league for 12 years holding clipboards and collecting paychecks.

I'm reeeeeeally looking forward to the Vikings-Titans game tomorrow.
It should really give me (and everybody else) a good idea of how legit the Vikings are.
I legitimately think we can pull it off though.
so should I start Brees vs SF or Edwards vs Stl?
I'd go with Brees. I think Buffalo will rush more against the Rams.

With all the Vick drama aside. When people questioned his arm I have always said look at their WR core. I wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them.

They have by far on of the worst WR core in the league. After time I see a game of theirs its like they are passing out drop ball soup like hot cakes.

I know they dont keep a dropped ball stat but if they did they would lead the NFL.

Being from Michigan it makes me smile to think that everything in that sink hole called Ohio is pure ass.

That Cinny, Browns game is pure trash. My Titans are doing really well, I wish they would stop douching Johnson out of TD by giving them to White. Johnson does all the work but never gets a TD from it.

I concur.. but for my ff league.. I need Winslow to atleast touch the ball a couple of times... 30-40yds isn't asking much..

I'm amazed at how much better the Vikings are with Frerotte on offense. I just wish Sidney Rice was playing. We'd be a LOT stronger.
I know we're losing :)
Also, Madieu Williams and Bryant McKinnie still haven't played yet. Two HUGE players (especially McKinnie).

I dont understand why you Vikings fans thought Jackson was going to be good to begin with. He looked horrid last year and from that alone I figured he should be a life time back up.

Also, Azuman.....I could have sworn you had a Jackson avatar!:whistle2:#

Nobody ever thought he was going to be very good.
Brad Childress did.
That was it.
I used an avatar of him to give him some support. I mean, he obviously had no idea, but he has sooooo many haters.
Part of it was Brad Childresses play calling.
9 rushes for Adrian Peterson? SERIOUSLY?

EDIT: Cool, now we're forcing some punts. About time!

I think our biggest problem is (this'll be a surprise) the lack of Chester Taylor. Seriously. He's terrific. No rushes today? Nonsense!

EDIT2: A delay of game on the first play of our drive? Seriously? WTF

EDIT3l OMG SIDNEY RICE IS BACK HOORAY!

On a unrelated note. I say this every time I see him play. Reggie Bush is the most over rated person to ever play the game.

I am not saying he isnt good. But he is so widely inconsistent that there really is no way he should have went 2 (let alone 1 like everyone thought) He is a solid guy but late 1rst round early 2nd is what he plays like.

For all the hype around him he simply plays middle of the road. He is the very definition of Jack of All Trades good at a lot of things but great at nothing.

man out offensive line has got to be the worst in the league. its amazing gore does as well as he does...

am i the only one that was to pull out their teeth when you see the fox football robot? god i hate that thing, today ive sen a lot of the football robot doing karate. cant they just show cheerleaders or something?

I'm pretty sure Brad Childress doesn't want us to win.
A pass on 3rd and 1? You know we had last years #1 RUSHING attack, right baldy?

EDIT: DAMN, look at the Cardinals. They're making one hell of an effort! Ken Wisenhunt is awesome.

That could be the smartest football related thing you might have ever said!
Just kidding:)
I do agree with you as far as bush not playing as consistent as a #2 pick in the draft as a RUNNING BACK should..

Man, my Titans are playing well. But come on its a back up QB for a guy who was even worse.....lets get some more sacks put the pressure on him. A INT or 2 will be nice if you dont mind.

So is anyone actually watching that Bengals game? Where is Palmer at?

Damn. The Jags are the funniest team to watch in football (outside of your own team)

Gerrade (sp?) is a warrior. You know who he reminds me of and it might be one of the reasons I really like that team. Steve McNair.

i'm not sure about the Titans yet.. yes their defense is good.. but it's early in the season.. let's see how the defense looks later on..

Its nice to see the Titans have no offense anymore.
Too bad our offensive unit left the field after the Adrian Peterson touchdown.
Hey, it looks like I'll be able to finally Start GARRARD again!

At the very least, the Texans did good by getting Mario Williams insteand the mental case Vince Young or the Kim Kardashian ass-tapping Reggie Bush.

They caught hell for that pick but it is looking a lot better now.

Matt Jones looks like a Porn Star.

You just dont know DJSteel. Most people didnt give him the time of day but KVD is one of the better DE's in the league. Our line is solid our DB's are solid and or Safeties are really good.

No one pays attention to us but our defense is like the Ravins defense of yesteryear. Cats dont want to play us.

I want to stick up for Young but I really dont know what the hell is wrong with him. He has a good arm, great legs, decent awareness.

Just cant put it together I guess.

Yeah.

For the record I agree with you about Bush and I don't have a problem with him tapping Kim.

I thought Matt Jones would have been suspended for the cocaine issues he was dealing with.
Ryan Grant has 15 carries for 20 yards, -4 receiving and a fumble. Way to get healthy and do worse than you were injured, fool.
The Tampa D is stout againt the run though. Can't really fault Grant for that.

Glad my hunch on Mushin Muhammad panned out. I picked him up due to bye week issues with my receivers.

They have actually been pretty shitty defensively, excluding all the turnovers they get. I was hoping Rogers would be up for a big game coming out of Dallas so well, but he flopped this week so they have had more time to watch the run.

I feel bad for Budge. I'm playing him in the OTT FF League this week and he had a lot of players on bye's this week with just enough to start, then he got shafted and one of his RB's ended up not playing. If that hadn't happened, he would've had a shot against me this week since Grant and Berrian haven't been doing good for me. Also, I benched Coles for Berrian and Coles is crushing it.

Drew Brees is most likely the best pick in a draft for this year.

This mofo is passing for over 300 yards a game this year. Crazy. Funny thing is Bush was picked in our leagued a good 4 picks before I got Brees.

I've said even before they drafted that Mario Williams was a better pick.. mainly because they had no OL for Vince Young or Reggie Bush.. I said that Williams might not show up until year 2 or 3.. but that he would be an impact player..
