I laughed when Witten ran, the ball whizzed by him, and he looked the other way and was like "wtf?"
Yea. Dallas was completely out of sync. Im not sure anyone on the team knew what was going on. They looked totally lost.

I wish I could find out what exactly TO was saying at the end of the game when he was exploding on the sidelines.
Ok. I know everyone can agree with me that the Defense carried that team to the Super Bowl. Anyone disagree?
Yeah I remember one game (I think it was against the Vikes) that year where the Bears won but Rex had a QB rating of Zero...

Googled it and I found his stats from that game: 6-19 34yds 0TD 3INT

That's Ryan Leaf like production there!!!

Rex had a stretch of about 6 games where he did really well. Most were against very bad teams. I remember picking him up for FF that year. I think I got one awesome game out of him but I also started him the night of the infamous Arizona Cardinals MNF game. I think he scored me a -7.

I remember he had 6-7 games where his ratings was under like 45.0. That tells you have good there D was.
Phew, that was a close one! Go Lions! Still undefeated!
Yeah looks like they may just go all the way this year! Romo has taken the blame for the two playoff losses and now the pivotal steelers game. Guess he is admitting that he just really doesnt perform when its the most necessary and he has failed his team and fans...
After last night performance, I consider Romo to be a choke artist.

I put a ton of blame on Romo for losing us that game. That INT for a TD. From what's been said though, Witten ran the wrong route so I can't put all the blame on Romo.

I still consider Romo an above average QB. Since Aikman retired Dallas has struggled to replace him. I think Romo does a decent job compared to the crap we had in there ( Ryan Leaf WTF? )

He plays great in the beginning of the season then he dwindles out just like the whole Cowboys team towards the end. Not sure what it is but the Cowboys can't play ball in December.
heh..crap.. try Mark Malone, Bubby Brister, Neil O'Donnell, Kordell Stewart, Kent Graham, Tommy Maddox..
The Bills are the most undisciplined and worst coached team in the entire NFL.
Can't put that on Jauron.....Losman is just shit.
Can't put that on Jauron.....Losman is just shit.
They were falling apart even with Edwards as the QB. Can't put all that blame on Losman.
Can't put that on Jauron.....Losman is just shit.
The ball should never have been in Losman's hands at the end. All they had to do was run out the clock, and it was 2nd down! Wasn't like it was 3rd and long. Thats the fault of whoever called that play, 100%.

I haven't seen a game given away by a coach like that since Dave Wannstedt was with Miami.
Thanks for nothing Cardinals. Looks like the Vikes are going to win the North...
:bouncy:

Thanks Cardinals for such a easy game.

And also thanks for the Raiders for doing what they do best... lose.

Man those games we blew earlier in the season have come back to bite us... If the Bears had been able to hang on against Tampa, Carolina, or Atlanta we'd be in much better shape.
Can't put that on Jauron.....Losman is just shit.
Its been jauron's fault for awhile now. 5-1 to 6-9. They are 1-8 in that span. Its definitley Jauron here. Also understood that Losman is just pure and I mean PURE SHIT! Edwards isnt far behind right now just because he had a couple good games...the kid looks like he lost all of that confidence and looks too scared to chuck it downfield. not to mention these losses all came after his supposed contract extension. DJ,Schonert need to go...Schonert is no better than Fairchild and DJ is like Wade Phillips...he just shouldnt be a head coach just coach defense. Yeah and the cowboys did win but i still beleive thats a Parcells team, not a Wade Phillips team. Wade Philips is utter garbage too, dont get me started on him.

People have to understand that the Bills are one of few teams that coaching actually matters. Ever since Marv left, the bills havent had 1 good coach. from Wade Phillips to Dick Jauron, the track record stands horrible. Even the GMs have been shit. Marv is 50/50 because McCargo has been utterly useless and POZ maybe too small to play ILB. He needs to be a OLB. the only thing the bills got right was the backfield on both sides of the ball. Lynch and Jackson are going to be an awesome tandem if Schonert ever decides to stick with the run....also McGee,Mcelvin,Whitner stand to be a good defensive trio...but than that leaves an Stroud at the front all by his lonsome and Kawika Mitchell with the LBs. Leave it to Fewell to call good schemes and plays. Denny and Kelsay arent the answer at ends either so the Bills are still practically at square one. They like to tease you and think they are good..but they will never be good . Just like the Lions. The Bills will bring you disappointment EVERY single god damn year!
loved the Steeler game.. very good nail biter.. I feel there were Steelers that got snubbed big time for the Pro Bowl..
Woodley is the only one I can think of.

I feel Bradie James from the Cowboys should have went to the Pro Bowl as well.

Woodley definitely.. Casey Hampton, if there was a 4th safety spot, Ryan Clark deserved it, he had some sort of pancreatic illness or liver illness last year and didn't play most of the season.. I don't think those three qbs were the best in league.. I think Ben could have replaced one of them..

Not sure if Ben could have replaced one of them but I agree. Culter headed to the Pro Bowl? I also can see Casey Hampton but with all that talent at NT/DT in the AFC it's hard to pick someone over another.

I feel Philip Rivers got snubbed big time. His stats are amazing but his team does suck. I guess you can say the same for Culter. Decent stats but the Broncos do stink.

i guess it was about name recognition, way too many Jets in the pro bowl. I just feel bad for the Steelers just because at the beginning of the year, no one thought they'd be a division champ considering they had the toughest schedule in NFL history and no offensive line. They've somehow won 11 games and have been decimated by injuries, they only have 3 of their starting 5 OL, lost their rb and backup rb on various occasions, QB has had an seperated shoulder all year. Ben performed better than Farve did this year.. I thought they'd be .500 this year...

I love watching/hearing other fans bitch about their Qbs and head coaches. Yall have no idea what it is like to be tied to a franchise that cannot make a single correct decision for the life of them. Go Lions!!!!!

They were close on doing right until they hired Bobby Ross. Then Barry Sanders left and everything went down the drain...

Trust me, Tom Donahoe and Tom Modrak arent that much better than Matt Millen. But i can understand you. i shouldnt bitch as much as i should...but the Bills are in the same line with Lions.

You know the bills and lions are tied for most consecutive years not making the playoffs. We both are sorry no matter how the current record looks.

Funny, read a joke about Michigan as a state today - "What do you call 40 guys watching the Super Bowl on television? The Detroit Lions"

Not exactly a gut buster, but hey, now they've become a punch line in Reader's Digest

Man, Kansas City has been going crazy this week ever since GM Carl Peterson resigned/got canned. Can't say that I blame them because they have constantly crapped out in the draft with the exceptions of Tony Gonzales and Jerad Allen (and Larry Johnson if he wasn't such an ass).

That was as good as it gets for the Lions. And we were only a .500 team. Forcing Barry Sanders to retire early shows how inept ownership and management really was/is. But we did win 12 games one year when Utley got paralyzed.

Bills fans have it rough, I mean at least the NFL isnt trying to move us to Windsor:D But in all honesty, the Bills were in 4 super bowls in the 1990's and the Lions have not been there since the 1957 season. Which is a long ass time.

Wow, made it all the way into RD? That is funny and true though.
Hopefully the NFL realize what a fuck up they have in their hand and not have the Lions play next Thanksgiving.
One of the biggest and best traditions in the City of Detroit. If we lose the Thanksgiving game the franchise is almost surely headed elsewhere. Many families only real tradition or ritual is going downtown for the parade and that game. You should be happy you only have to see them once a year.

I wasnt trying to make it into something saying you guys shouldn't bitch as much, b/c as armchair GM's we all deserve that right.............but the Detroit Lions suck like no other:lol:

That's good to see Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall make the Pro Bowl, they've done a good job during the RB crisis and with a bad defense to get to 8-6 and nearing a playoff berth. I'm also glad to see that Joe Thomas made the Pro Bowl again, as a starter no less.

What a game. Random thoughts: Looks like Manning's getting close to an MVP award (if not outright clinching it). Freeney and Mathis are magnetized to quarterbacks. Clark should be going to the Pro Bowl. Reggie Wayne needs to put on his pants correctly.:booty:

I'm a bit miffed about the play calling of Del Rio and his coaches with about 5 minutes to go though. They were gashing the Colts with the run, but instead they decided to throw on them.

Yeah both are equally as bad.

from what i see, both teams just need to dump what they have, keep their core, and start over again. i wouldnt mind getting rid of some players that were from the Donahoe Era and now some from the Modrak era. Atleast the Lions are starting in the right step with the firing of Millen. I hope Ford's son takes over ownership of that team. It seems like he cares unlike his father. If they can find a great football mind to run that franchise...than they will start getting good. The Texans,Falcons, and Dolphins are great examples of that. i think Bills and Lions need to follow suit.

So you all watching the Cowboys tonight? Its already getting noticeably colder here, and by kickoff should be down in the 40's. Gonna be 25 this morning, i live 30 minutes from Texas Stadium's last big home game in history! Go Boys!
No. fuck the NFL network.
No. fuck the NFL Network as well.

Just to chime in. Demarcus Ware is a beast. Another sack. Gives him 20 on the season. 2.5 more to break the record. I hope he does it.

Well solid ownership doesnt guarantee success. Ralph Wilson (Bills owner) is a hell of a guy. Plus he still has a home (mansion) is Grosse Pointe, which I think is where he grew up. I do agree that Ford jr needs to take over in order for the lions to become successful. Detroit Lions are nothing more than a showpiece to William Clay Ford

hope the lions win a game though.. i can feel their fans pain as being a fins fan last year was very frustrating

edit- wtf.. why dont they just keep the cam on the game.. they randomly just go back to the studio to take crap

Even as an Eagle fan, I hope he gets the record as he's a great player.

Anyway, I'm praying for the Ravens. It would serious help us out.

Would anybody else LOVE to see a third matchup between Pittsburgh and Baltimore? This time in the AFC Championship?
These HAVE to be the 2 scariest teams in the playoffs.
Two best defenses in the leage = laugh at others.

Yeah, since Time Warner won't carry the NFL network I watched the live streaming broadcast of Colts Jags game and that's exactly what they do. For every 5 minutes of live game footage you have to sit through 10 minutes of stupid studio talk.
