Who was calling the plays for the Skins tonight?!?!? Brought back memories of Mcnabb's 2 minute drill in the Super Bowl.

Also, none of the WR's on the Redskins know where the first down marker is. There were more than a few times they cut there route short of the marker and ended up punting because they were a yard or two short. They have a lot of work to do if they want to win in the NFC East this year.

Jason Campbell is one of the worst QB's. Why is this guy even playing? 3rd Stringer at best. The play calling was horrendous as well.

I was actually thinking the Sins would win and actually be a good team this year. Hell I have been thinking that every single year since 2000 and I always get proved wrong. Their Defense was talked up soo highly during preseason and such but they looked really bad out there tonight. The coaching staff needs to pull it together fast and learn from this game.

I think Campbell can be a good QB. He wasn't really taking chances tonight and looked like he was checking down to his 3rd options a lot. He needs to get the ball down the field more.

The coaching staff needs to get Cooley involved more in the middle of the field and that should open things up for Randle El and Moss. There main issue tonight was the play calling, which was horrendous.

You know what the Redskins need? One thing, and it's the most important:

AN OFFENSIVE LINE

If you watched their last 2 pre-season games you would know that offensive line is not doing their job.
Hmm who should I start for tomorrow, Brees or Rivers? All touchdowns count as 6 points.
I'd go for Brees, I went with Rodgers over Rivers.

pass happy offense vs a balanced offense. Which one is better for the individual stats of a QB?

Man I am excited for the NFL today.

Man I hope I get a good selection of games. I dont know what coverage area I am in since I just moved to North Carolina.

God I hope I get Titans games. To bad I have to watch shit ass Panthers games though.God I hate the panthers.

Yep it's an exciting time of the year but I'm not expecting much out of my Bears. I managed to get Adrian Peterson in my fantasy draft this year so for that reason alone I have to say GO VIKES. Vikes fans beware though, I'm sort of the "Madden Curse" of the fantasy world. Whenever I get a player like that it's usually the year they crap out.

Who has the best offensive line in the NFC North? Certainly not the Lions. And the offensive line is where you win football games.

Fox shows a lot of the NFC East/ South games. Aside from a Panthers game, they either show the Skins/ Cowboys/ or Atlanta game (for the most part). Sometimes you might get a Giants/ Eagles game or a "matchup of the week," but those are more of a rarity.

CBS is all game of the weeks. Lots of Pats/Colts/ Bolts.

I certainly never said they were going to win football games. Nor did I mean to imply it.
Fox = NFC games; NFC @ AFC games
CBS = AFC games; AFC @ NFC games
He knows that. He was asking what games he gets because he moved to a new area. More specifically he was asking what games he would see with regards to who is the regional team and who he would see when they are not playing.
oh
Good info. I didn't know how TV rights were handled for inter-conference play.

TD Favre!

That isn't how inter conference is handled, unless something changed. Cowboys/Colts and Cowboys/Pats have both been on CBS.

Has anyone been watching the full Pats/Chiefs game? How did the replay look after multiple views. I only got a brief glimpse at it from a cut-in and I wanna know if the tackler was falling down or if he just went after his legs. I hope Brady's alright. Hate to see that kind of stuff happen.

He limped off the field, so it may not be that bad.

Also, Atlanta's up 21 on Detroit. Wow.

EDIT: Brady came back, threw a bomb to Moss. Wait, it was Cassell. Stupid NFL.com

Damn Lions getting that ass beat.

God I miss watching them loose already. That sucks about moving from Michigan to Carolina. Watching the lions suck ass was one of my favorite things to do.

Thanks man.

Cassel is doing an amazing job, considering. God I love the internets. Since I've moved its the only way to watch the game...

Drew Brees is by far one of the worst QB in the game and I would hate to be a WR for him.

All he seems to do is serve up his WR for huge hits. He has done this at least 5 times in this game and lets not forget what he did to Reggie Bush last year vs the eagles. He puts the ball in the worst position causing his WR to be completely and utterly exposed on almost every catch.

Also. Can we call this bum Reggie Bust about now? I dont care about his receiving record that means nothing when your team still loses. Plus he is a RB and can barely get more than 3 yards on a given run.

This thomas guy is looking good and when duce gets back Reggie will go to WR full time I think.

I love J-Shock though. He is basically the Larry Bird of football. A white guy with that street cred and the swagger of a guy who is pure talent and a work horse.

Bow down to Shock and kiss his ring bitches.

EDIT: The Jets, Phins game was the worst choice ever for a national game.Yeah Farve is back but the Jets and Phins suck so much ass that I just cant believe they went with it. If you notice Miami barely half of the seats filled. Without Farve this game wouldnt even be the last page of a newspaper. No one gives a fuck about the Jets or the Phins except their fans. This game should barely be on the local channel.

Wow.... Patriots fight tooth and nail for that win against the Chiefs. Amazing how well Cassel did given how shitty he was in preseason. The last minute with the Chiefts within a few feet of an TD to tie the game was tense as all hell can bring. But I'll take the win!

I hope Tom Brady is back for next week's epic encounter with the Lord Farvequad and the New York Rats. Should be one fucking amazing game regardless.

(Much like that Vikes vs Slackers game tommorow night will be!)

Damn, I was hoping that justice would've been served and Pennington would've brought the Dolphins all the way back against his old team.

Oh Chad, you thought you could win, didn't you? Maybe you should play for more than a single quarter next time.

How sad is it when your fantasy lineup has scored 53 pts and your optimum lineup would have 106 pts?

EDIT: and that's with about 4 players still to go!

Well, shit. Season's over.

I bet Willie Anderson is laughing his ass off over how much heat Carson Palmer got today.

EDIT: Also, I don't know how much of a convention this is, but I predict Marvin Lewis will be gone before Halloween.

I like how people get all pissed off at Chad Johnson. He is a elite WR and top 5 at his position in the NFL. He is on one of the worst fucking teams in the NFL. They are bottom 6 most likely and people get pissed because he tries to have fun?

You should be happy that he is doing anything other than complain and demanding a trade out. What else can you do when you are the best on your team and best in the NFL, you might as well have some fun.

I am glad to see the Lions lose to the Falcons. HA cant wait to listen to the streaming talk shows tomorrow.
