Having Cutler+Marshall in one league and Warner+Boldin in another is wonderful.
I'm very happy with my McNabb/Cutler tandem in one of my leagues.

I was quite happy with the Pats game today. Brady started off his career doing a lot of game managing as well. I think they can still take the AFC East
Average? I thought he played great....the o-line blows ass.....he was sacked 8 fuckin' times....but he kept getting up and finished:

20/32 321 yards...1 TD...and 0 Ints...
Maybe average isn't the right word but I just don't see the makings of a top QB. Some of those sacks are because he doesn't have much pocket awareness, as they term it.
I'm most happy seeing Troy P. in pro bowl form. He did a great job containing "Soulja Boy."
If I was a pittsburgh fan I'd be worried. They really didn't play a good game tonight. The Browns beat themselves with about 7-8 drops.
I don't know when Braylon Edwards forgot how to catch a football, but he needs to remember, and fast.
Yup.
He's on 2 of my fantasy teams!

Nobody said he was going to be a top QB, but his play today impressed. He has decent pocket awareness he just holds onto the ball way too long sometimes, trying to make something happen.

Holy shit I am beating my FF opponent (who is my best friend so its extra sweet) 83-25.

Only 1 person on his team got out of double figures. Granted he has D-Nabb but unless he throws for about 500 yards it wont matter.

I have a game going like that where I'm getting beat 80-49 but I have McNabb and Folk tonight. Here's hoping for some TD passes from McNabb and lots of FGs for Dallas.

im just getting wooped this week...my qb's and rb's did nothing. plus going up against a packer defense which by itself scored 20+ points is ridiculous

That dude was not over the goaline before he started showboating. That's a Leon Lett style blunder.

Dammit I NEEDED that touchdown very badly! Way to go JACKASS!!!

lost my fantasy game, i figured i would yesterday, but it was also a lot closer than i thought itd be. that makes it a lot more frustrating.

Holy crap I think McNabb and Folk did just enough to pull my ass out of the fire! I'll have to wait for the final adjustments tomorrow but right now it shows that I win 82-80 after trailing 80-49 coming into the night! I would've won easily had it not been for the late fumble by McNabb and the dropped ball on the goal line...

Ugh did anyone hear that bitch singing the national anthem last night? Shit was burning my ears and she got booed like crazy.

People stop trying to sing the anthem like a fucking pop song. Its not. Sing it and get the hell off the stage.

Granted there are some people out there who can really bring tears to your eyes when they sing it.....a lot of motown soulful people can really move you with their versions of the song.

But guess what? Thats not you bitch. Pop singers can barely sing without 18 computers to begin with.

Brutal.

Brutal.
Agreed. Who the hell was that? I heard a few notes of her singing/yelling and her cracking voice and I had to switch. It took her forever to sing it, too. I switched over, then switched back and it was still her trying to belt out notes she couldn't hit.

That chick that that attempted the National Anthem had no soul.
One of the worst I have ever heard, luckily the game made up for it.
Eagles were lucky to be so close.
Eagles were lucky to be so close.
What? If anything, both teams got extremely lucky with the turnovers. I am disappointed in my Eagles, but seeing how extremely well they played last night, I can't wait to see what they can do the rest of the season.
if it was in Philly she wouldn't want to sing publicly again
Wasnt that were destiny's child got booed also?

They should have non-vocal renditions of the anthem if they are going to continue to do it. Get a military band to play it appropriately, or a recorded version. I don't need to see a singer try to "diva up" the song. This isn't American Idol. I have to agree with you Soodmeg, sing the song and get off the stage.

Eagles only turned the ball over Once. Dallas Turned the ball over twice with 14 seconds for 14 points. That hurt the Cowboys a ton.

Great Game though. I was sure the Eagles were going to win the game. I'm happy with the outcome though :D

That was a great game, the NFC East is gonna be a tough division this year. Although I'm a Bears fan, which sucks in Dallas since I don't get to see all the games.

And I got stomped by almost 60 points in my Yahoo FF League this week thanks to "Big" Ben and the wind in Cleveland.

Once I read the reports of bad weather I pulled Big Ben from my lineup.

I'm wondering how serious this supposed shoulder injury is? If he's hurt I don't want to waste any starts on him.

I'm not sure but I hope it's not bad, Kitna is my backup. I'm having major problems at TE started Heap last week and Olsen this week and both LOST me points. The only one worth anything is Witten, and the drunk guy at my draft got him with the 3rd pick.

Colts are just being hit by the injury bug hard. Sanders could miss 4-6 weeks. So this weekend, that could be two starters missing on defense, and four starters on offense.

Kitna at least puts up decent fantasy numbers since the Lions like to spot the other teams 21 points. I would play him until Detroit benches him...which could be sooner than later with the buzz around here.

Tarvaris Jackson has now become Gus Frerotte...
Gus DA BUS is the new starter.
I guess my "Go Crazy for TJack and pretend he's good" routine failed.

If there smart they'll tank it for Stafford/Tebow/Daniels.

Jackson blows donkey cock.

Good maybe Ferotte can actually complete a few passes to Bernard Berrian, he killed me last week dropping a goose egg on my fantasy team.

I think we should try to get Quinn Gray of all people from the Texans. Either that or Cleo Lemon from the Jaguars. Actually, lets go nuts and try to get David Garrard.
Garrard as a Viking would be amazing.
I only suggested Gray and Lemon because those are probably our only option.

you do not want lemon....

anyways.

im getting wooped in fantasy.. 0-2 so far and im up against the #1 point producer.. losin brady messed me up
Culpepper is still out there.. the fact that he doesn't have a job is crazy
right. i thought about him.. but maybe he is serious with retirement..

imagine him back in minnesota.. i thought he could fit in new england

I just traded MJD (I have Brandon Jacobs and Willi Parker with Matt Forte as a back up) for Marvin Harrison. Now I really am not playing on keeping Marvin I only wanted him beacuse MJD isnt going to do much this year but how high do you think I could trade MH for?

I really want another solid WR. Is he still considered a great WR because he hasnt done anything in 2 years.

Also. Desean Jackson vs Pit or Wes Welker vs MIA?

I am leaning toward Wes Welker.
Depends on whether or not Return yds count.. if they do take Jackson.. if they don't take Wes Welker
Keep in mind this, I have Roy Williams of the Lions. He is still kinda their number 1 option but really gets no love now that Calvin is there.

Do you think I should try to work a deal with him before its to late? The lions are so bad that you cant rely on anything, one game they might not score the next game Roy could catch for 4 TDs. Whats your over all feel for Roy Williams.

If I dont start him I will have Jackson, Welker, Brandon Marshell to start this week (baring what ever WR I get back)

I think Calvin is emerging as the go to guy for Detroit.. Roy is always going to be there but his numbers will fluctuate.. I normally stay far away from anything Denver except QBs because Shanahan loves to screw fantasy football all up.. Marshall's numbers will fluctuate as well with the emergence of Eddie Royal.. not nearly as much as Roy Williams

I would prob pick wes as every team seems to torch the dolphins secondary. I also have desean jackson on my team.

I picked up sammy morris but may end up dropping him for someone else. I dont know if morris will get the ground game going on the dolphins. I may just go for a sure thing and pick up the giants kicker or something.

Derek anderson has let me down for 2 straight weeks (my starter). hopefully he has a breakout game this week

I wish. Even if he isn't serious about retiring, I REALLY don't think Childress is smart enough to think about it.

Guys guys. Though I loved Culpepper. He sucks. He simply sucks.

Its like asking why Shaun Alexander doesnt have a job right now. Its because he is not good. You say you dont think Childress is smart enough? Look how stupid some of the management is on some teams. For example the Lions, if he was even remotely able to play the Lions would scoop him up with the quickness because they have a nact for signing really crappy players.

Culpepper sucks...he just does.

Some people simply cant not last in the NFL. To think that Randy Moss is still one of the top 3 WR in the league yet Culpepper cant even get a job? That says a lot.

Culpepper's biggest problem has always been that he can't read the defense. So to think that he could "fit" in with the Patriots is one of the biggest jokes I've heard in a long time.
