Jeez this the year of parity. No one looks really dominant. Titans will lose once they play the colts. Giants will lose one of their divisional games. The big question is who will go 0-16 and join my Bucs as the only team to lose all their games. My say is the great KC Cheifs, especially with 1/2 of their receiving core wanting to leave.

The Chiefs won a game.

Probably no one, the only two left are the Lions and Bengals. They both play their crappy divisional opponents again (Vikings and Browns) and I'd say each offense is liking to start scoring some points for at least one game with how talented their receivers are.

God damn I am tied with my FF opponent. I got completely screwed....we get bonuses for going over 100 yards in a game. 2 of my damn WR got 98 yards yesterday. 98 yards? Can you trip 2 more yards please so I can get a win?

He has Lewis playing tonight and I have Jacobs and the G-mens defense so I still feel like I am going to win. If the browns get behind early they are going to give up on the running game so that takes out Lewis.

The Vikes should've been given a loss despite that last second field goal. 12-10 against the Loins? That should be grounds for their franchise being kicked out of the NFL. Also thanks alot A.P. for doing almost nothing for my fantasy team today...
The Lions played really well. On Defense anyway.
I know those 2 senteces don't really make much sense, but its true!
Don't worry, we'll kill the Bears :)

What will probably happen is we'll take some sort of lead into the 4th quarter then blow it. Chicago could easily be 6-0 if they had been able to hang on against Tampa, Carolina, and Atlanta. I'm just happy to see the progression Orton has made and the fact that we actually have an offense this year! Where was this two years ago when we were in the Superbowl? Oh yeah riding the bench because "We're 13-3 and Rex is our quarterback" Lovie Smith refused to make a change...:wall::wall:
Romo is out for 4 weeks with a broken finger. This kills my fantasy team but as a Giants fan it's not the worst news.
If that O-line was having trouble protecting a mobile Tony Romo then a pocket passer like Brad Johnson is gonna get killed.

Agreed. The Cowboys are probably going to be OK since they are 4-2 already and the next 4 games aren't that bad other than the game against the Giants but they are not even close to last year's team right now (which is a good thing, IMO).

I'm a happy Cowboys fan knowing that Romo will be out. He fucking stunk it up the past 3 games. Brad Johnson is a solid QB. Our O Line needs to hold up. Cory Procter isn't cutting it. He is our weak link in our line.

The detroit Lions have a great chance this year. the whole team just looks lost this year and If Roy Williams doesnt care anymore, than your really in deep shit. Also the rest of the their schedule are against winning teams besides their next oponent who are the texans..but even the Texans are better than them.

C'mon Giants D... In one of my leagues I am down 8 pts but I have the Giants D/ST going. I figured they'd be able to dominate the woeful Browns but so far Jamal Lewis is running wild on them.

Romo has been pretty good. It's been no one person's fault they suck, they just can't seem to pull it together. Him being out might be a good wake up call for them though.
The Browns have an offense? I had no idea after the first five weeks.
Yeah and naturally this has to be the week they decide to find it!:bomb:

Hi Braylon Edwards, welcome back!
Enjoy your vacation?

I hope the Giants turn it around, I need them to win, I can't fall to far behind in my pool.

fuck the Giants.

I always hated them but today I had to go with them to win my FF game and what do they do? Choke like hell. All I need is like 2 or 3 sacks and maybe a INT.

Bitches.
fuck the Giants.

i had them this week also. Im 20 points ahead so i have no worries..but the Giant D cant even stop my grandma tonight.
Man.. NFC East took a beating this week... They all looked un-inspired..
nah onlt the top 3 teams. The Eggles beat the Niners this week 40-26. So they are the only team that won.

Same here. I needed 8 pts out of the Giants D tonight. As crappy as the Browns had played up to this point I thought that would be a slam dunk. fuck you Giants! Who would've thought the D to have tonight would be Cleveland?

I'm now 4-2 in one league and 1-5 in the other.
It's funny how everyone harps on a team based on their Fantasy team performance

What happened to the good ole days?!?
Agreed.

Oh come off it man.

Most people could care less about 80% of the teams in the league in the first place. FF gets people to actually show any emotion to a team other than the one they follow.

In the good ole days as you put it no one would be even bring any given team up because if they are not your cities team..you simply dont care. You might check a stat or 2 watch a game or 2 but FF player go out of there way to watch most of the games their people are playing in.

I've never gotten into Fantasy sports. I like to watch and follow sports, but I don't have the time or interest to follow closely enough to do well in fantasy leagues. I'd rather spend that time catching up on work and other hobbies (movies, games etc).

i agree. in the good ol days i would watch the niners, make sure they cowboys were losing and maybe watch the raiders from time to time. but i could care less what happened with the colts or the saints. but thanks to fantasy im watching every game in great detail.

edit: looks like pacman might be done in the nfl.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP)—NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended Adam “Pacman” Jones indefinitely for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Jones was involved in an alcohol-related scuffle with one of his bodyguards at a private party in Dallas on Oct. 7.

The league said the Dallas Cowboys cornerback will miss the next four games, and Goodell will determine the final length of the suspension after the Cowboys’ game in Washington on Nov. 16.

In a letter Tuesday to Jones, Goodell called the latest incident the continuation of “a disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL.”

The NFL’s investigation comes six weeks after Goodell reinstated Jones from a 17-month suspension after several run-ins with the law while with the Tennessee Titans.

Damn, the Cowboys are taking some serious damage right now.

Did Brad Johnson ever play for the Vikings, I thought I remember him playing for them a while ago...

Yeah. He replaced Daunte Culpepper and remained for another year. I'm pretty sure he also played on the Vikes a LONG time ago.

I'm all for redemption and second chances, but Adam Jones had no margin for error and he blew it. The fact that he would need round the clock security to make sure he didn't get into trouble was a red flag to start with. Personally, I don't think what happened was enough to kick him out for good (especially when Matt JOnes is still playing despite his cocaine bust recently), but Adam Jones has had more issues with the law than anyone else in the league and probably had it spelled out to him that even the most minor of missteps was grounds for suspension. Not to mention it sounded like the security guard was coerced into not pressing charges.

Ahhh, you put the emphasis on LONG, I wonder why that is? ;)

I see all these QB's going down and I wonder how Favre ever lasted through all of it and is still going strong. Yea he was an addict for a tenure but still, the more I think about it, the more impossible it seems to keep playing for as long as he has and never miss a start.

Favre plays through injuries. I just read on ESPN that Favre called Romo and suggested to Romo that he should atleast try and play despite the broken pinkie. Farve also gave him the story on how he played with a broken thumb and it hurt like hell but he could take the pain.

I can't wait until the Boys get healthy. They are reviving the greatest show on turf. I can't wait to see which poison gets picked between Williams/Witten/Owens/Barber.

the cowboys mortgaged some serious picks to bring roy into the fold. wonder if he plays nice with the residant nutcase(s)

they still a need a qb though

Awesome just read they are going to get Roy Williams from the Lions. We needed that 2nd Big Name WR.
