Dear Lakers,
It's a zone defense. You learn to play against them in high school. You're supposed to know this stuff by now.

Sincerely,
The lonely basket on your end of the court

Well at least this has turned into a good series.

I really hope the Suns pull it off, so I at least have a team I don't hate in the Finals (barring the Magic pulling off a historic comeback which I don't see happening).

And the only thing that comes close to seeing the Magic winning is the Lakers losing! :D

Ignoring the Lakers shittiness against the zone and pick and rolls for a minute, it's time to sit Bynum. He's a liability out there. You want another big body out there? fucking play Mbenga. He'll move his body, at least. Hell, play Powell. Those guys at least play with some hustle. Bynum's just limping along collecting fouls.

It was not a masterpiece, but excellent. And best of all, the Lakers lost.

Also, it would appear they have some sort of idea of how to defend against the Lakers? This series is very interesting, now.

Sadly, I laughed. This is too true :\

The Suns must be doing something right, I mean, they have consistently put up almost the same amount of points every game while the Lakers points have dwindled.

C'mon Lakers, play defense the entire game, not just in spurts!
Are all the suns players under 100 lbs? Doesn't take much contact for them to throw themselves be knocked to the ground.
Says the bitter Laker fan (ironically).

For more examples of flops, see:

exhibit A - Derek Fisher
exhibit B - Pau Gasol

Phoenix, continue the great work!

David Stern might sh*t bricks if Lakers Kobe doesn't make the finals like he already did when Cavs Lebron didn't. The ratings will def crap out.

Rashard Lewis has claimed that he has had a viral infection this whole series.

“Overall it effects you,” he said after Orlando’s shootaround Wednesday. “I’ve been throwing up. I haven’t been at full strength. I’ve been feeling weak, my legs been feeling weak. I find myself getting tired very fast in the first quarter. You know, when you can’t hold food down you have no energy in your body to go out there and perform.” < http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Ao4tkeHTtY1wmUt78QcdDY.8vLYF?slug=ap-magic-lewis-illness >

Thanks Rashard for screwing over the team by playing when you felt weak.

Well, I'm sure the team/coaching staff was aware of his condition. I mean he's taking IV fluids before the game.

It's on the coaches to keep players out when they're sick/injured and doing more harm than good.
It's not interesting until the visiting team wins. Let's hope this series gets interesting next game.
I always though that was a silly expression.

This series is 2-2, definitely interesting. Hell it could go 7 with the visiting team never winning and that would certainly be an interesting series!

On the other hand, in the Eastern Conference Finals, the visiting team has won 3 out of 4 game so far, and it's been anything but interesting thus far.

Good video... D-Fish and Odom got owned by Dragic... those two need to be cut. Come to show how passive some of our players really are...

Donaghy went on the radio and predicted this would happen. Quick 2nd foul on Celtics starters early in the game, game would be called just a little tighter when Orlando has the ball.

Not that I'm impressed with the Celtics in any facet of the game tonight, but what can you do when a guy runs straight into you away from the ball and you get the foul?

Some questionable calls. But Magic are finally hitting shots etc. the past two games and looking like the team that had the 2nd best record in the NBA. Shame it's probably too little, too late.

And Bass is playing well off the bench again. I'm still baffled at why he played so little this year.

Yup! It's the refs fault that the Magic are hitting most of their threes. It's the refs fault that the Magic are out rebounding the Celtics. It's the Refs fault that the Magic are blocking every other shot taken by the Celtics.

Want to retract that now?

Eddie F. Rush, star of the show. The man these 20,000 people came to see.
We have no clue what Perkins said walking away. Plus Howard took a bs T earlier in the game on an "elbow".
He said, "Bullshit". And he was WALKING AWAY. If thats enough for a T, let alone someones 2nd T, Dwight Howard would have more T's than Rasheed Wallace.

Completely unprofessional. Referees think too much of themselves in the NBA.

He was walking away trying not to show up the ref on what was a BS foul. Celtics will come out for blood in the second half and take this game. Magic will lose that lead by the six minute mark

Bad calls have been hit on both teams so that shouldn't matter. Kendrick Perkins knows better. The refs have been T happy tonight on both teams. He should know to keep his mouth shut.

I agree. He has been a difference maker excluding the last minute of the half.

So when (I think) Jameer Nelson extends his arms out and yells directly at the referee, completely showing him up in front of everyone, thats fine? But Kendrick Perkins gets ejected for walking away?

When can I expect Dwight Howard to be ejected for his constant whining?

His constant whining gets him all the bad calls (see Bobcats series). Luckily for us, he has calm down with it.

That same exact foul that Big Baby got called for was done to Rasheed on the prior possession as they were inbounding the ball, nothing called.

all the hooking Rasheed has been doing on Howard all game, he should be fouled out... like I said the calls and lack of calls have been going both ways.

As for flops this game, so far I have seen Rondo and Big Baby both flopped a couple of times.

How many starters for Orlando have been ejected so far?

I swear Howard is a clumsy shit stretched the shit out of Paul's arm but I don't think it was intentional

Rush should never call Celtics games just like Joey Crawford should never be in the same state as a Spurs game
I swear Howard is a clumsy shit stretched the shit out of Paul's arm but I don't think it was intentional
Far from intentional. Pierce went into two centers with a man trailing. He had no way for himself to brace the fall.

Our players are smart enough not to pick up a second technical when they have one.

Dwight doesn't use profanity. Ever.
Saw Gortat complain about a few calls, nothing... Then Rondo gets T'd up for arguing a call.
Its clearly obvious the refs are fixing this game for Orlando to win.
