Well the reason I watched the recent BET awards was that Joe Jackson, Michael Jackson's dad was gonna be there. I was watching on Fark.com and read that he was appearing at the show days before, so I tuned in. The history between him and his dad was rather eerie.
Anyway, I really hated the show because the audience had no class, it was too ghetto, the "Big Ass Chain", and Red Plastic Cups. It was too unwatchable, but for some stupid reason, I watched the whole thing. I had an Andre Rieu concert I could've watched. The only best moment of the show was in 2003 when James Brown performed, a true class act.
