2010 World Cup Netherlands vs Spain

The U.S. is playing nervous, and that usually leads to poor passing, and lack of offense. They certainly rise up for the great opponents, but for all of these teams that are either inferior or on par with them, they seem to struggle right from the beginning.
It's tough understand, but it's definitely a horrible pattern for them.
 
poor execution all around the first half. lucky for us weve dominated pretty much every 2nd half so far. so hopefully we can do it again.
 
This is the second US game i've seen since they played England and I can't believe they got this far. They must have gotten lucky every game so far. I've never seen a previous US team get beat and almost scored on with a... Goal kick all the way from the other side of the field.
 
Ghana is playing good but my question is: do they have the stamina to keep up the pace? The end of the first half Ghana slowed down a lot. USA still has a chance.
It would be embarrassing if the US lost to Ghana.

It would have been embarrassing if we didn't make it to this round. Italy and France should be embarrasssed.

US losing to Ghana would just be a bad loss...unless they won like 4-0
 
Altidore got banged up and was hobbling a bit in the first half. He doesn't look like himself today. He played much stronger and had some good runs in the 2nd half against Algeria.

He had the stomach bug before that game as well, maybe he's still weak or something.
 
Our attackers really need to rush the box more, that's probably the third time we've had a good cross and no one running at the ball.

No, the horns are an African tradition. Usually you only get them with games with an African team, but since the WC is there, they're at every game.
 
U.S. so far has nobody but themselves to blame. Should have won this game in regulation but shit the bed every single time they had a chance to score a goal.
 
I agree, if anything they were handed an opportunity by a stupid Ghana foul in the penalty box.
How terrible would it be if the US equalizes and then loses on penalties?

U.S. should be embarrassed to have lost a game to a bunch of 3rd Worlder Pussies. Every goal opportunity and the U.S. shit the bed and now I have to watch these pussies kill the clock out.
