24: Season Five. *SPOILERS*
Well I was watching in HD and at the end about who will die's....................... You can kind of make out the person Jack is holding damn I love this show... This season is making up for the sub par effort last year
Mmmm.. I think season four is the best of them all, but that's me. Here's how I rank the seasons:

1. Season 4
2. Season 2 (yep, cougar and all!:D)
3. Season 5
4. Season 1 (Dennis Hopper as a Serbian Terrorist:roll:)
5. Season 3 (Three agents and a baby:puke:)

I really wanted to see Edgar hook-up with Chloe. :whistle2:(

To be fair, even the worst season of 24 is still pretty awesome.
If you're talking about Lynn, he caused it by being a dumbfuck and not telling people he had his keycard stolen 4 hours ago. It would have been pretty easy to keep nerve gas out of the building with that info.
Hey, leave Sam out of this... He was thinking about the Mo' Naked Hoes

Seriously though, he is an idiot. I had gained some respect for him after he deciphered Jack's "flank 4 position" (or whatever it was) at the airport, but now he needs to die.

season 3 might have jumped all over the place, but
chase cutting off his hand or fingers (don't remember) and jack executing the head of ctu, chappelle i think it was was fucking great
SOmeone fill me in on seasons 3&4. What about the Chinese?
3 Has nothing to do with this season

4 Jack lead an illegal raid into the chinese (I think its was an embassy) and the consulate was killed. So the Chinese want Jack to pay for the crime. Jake faked his own Death becuse the Government was going to kill him.

My favorite is still the first season, when it was a fresh and new and brutal. Back then it was the life of one man which hung in the balance so there was always the slight possiblity that Jack could fail. In the subsequent seasons as the stakes raised with nuclear bombs and chemical weapons the chance they would let Jack fail dropped to nil.

Not just that but the fact that the storyline was given time to flesh out instead of just rushing from one thing to the next without really giving us much of a chance to realize what has just happened. However in my opinion I feel that this season has had a few moments where at least things slow down enough so that we get a better feel for what is going on.

That's just my take on it however.... and I'm sure someone will disagree with that.
Edgar-induced depression has reached USA Today

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usatoday/20060307/en_usatoday/alaspooredgarwesortofknewhim
From the article:

Gordon acknowledged that in the 24 universe, Edgar became more vulnerable as his appeal grew. As he told Lombardi just before the episode was filmed in December: "The good news is you're one of the best characters on the show; the bad news is that, unfortunately, we have to kill you now."

So for all us who think Curtis is every bit as good (maybe even better) a character as Jack need to keep our mouths shut because if we start liking him too much, and the find out, they're gonna kill him.

you let the cat out of the bag!!

i have this strange feeling kim isnt gonna make it out of this season alive

for kim

as far as I know, she is only signed for a 3 episode arc.

as for will die next week, I wouldn't be suprised if it is audrey

he dad, the sec of defense, willam devane(i think that is his name) will be back on the show shortly, I would think something major would have to happen for his reason of returning.
God be praised.
QFT

I fucking hate kim. Or, "tits" as my girlfriend and I call her on the show. I quit watching in season 3 because they made her an analyst.

For all the Edgar hate, he was one of the few characters with a personality, for that reason alone, I liked him.
if u guys want to know who's the ultimate sacrifice. here it is (BEEN CONFIRMED)

Lynn
\\:D/ \\:D/ \\:D/

Thank god. :D

Too bad the damn cougar from Season 2 couldn't make a cameo to assist in the sacrifice.... but oh well.

audrey can't be around much longer, she is in a new tv show. The pilot was picked up and several episodes ordered.
Edgar
doesn't have a contract for the full season? I just can't see him going anywhere.
Well... I stand corrected

Jack always has the worst luck with his women...

ah excellent, although this has otherwise been a fairly crappy episode... I always hate those shows where everyone is locked in one room the whole fucking time

How does Edgar warrant a silent count yet that ending doesn't. Either the character isn't dead or it's just retarded.

So assuming Tony is really dead, they've killed off 4 major characters this season (five if you count Lynn. Damn, I was looking forward to that Samwise v. Robocop title bout:lol:).

Oh, and uh, KIM IS AN UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BITCH!!!:bomb:
Seriously I think the writers have just run out of ideas... so let's just kill off everyone! fucking retarded. That's FOX for you.
either that, or they really do what most shows never even try doing. Personally it's more innovative than most of what I see on TV ever.

I just hope the teaser for next episode doesn't indicate more characters are going to be shoveled off the show en masse. If there's a temporary thing, that's fine, but I'm not gonna be happy if they cycle in new permanent cast members. Not that there are many originals left at this point.

To quote one of the most hilarious things I saw on another website about this episode:

Robocop was only in sleep mode!

For lack of a better term, you're a moron, plain and simple. Ever watch a network called HBO? They've had multiple shows do what 24 is doing right now (Oz & The Sopranos come to mind immediately), killing off major characters every episode. I assure you season 5 of 24 is anything but original. It's just a sappy re-hash of things I've already seen, with a dash of excessive patriotism tossed in with a bit of the fat hobbit. I'll give it a few more episodes, and I'm certain the ratings remain great, but if this keeps up you can keep the show to yourself for all I care.

fuck 24 fuck 24 fuck 24 fuck 24 fuck 24 fuck 24 fuck 24.

i'm stopping watching. I hope Jack dies, I hope Chloe dies when a blood vessel bursts due to her constant frowning, I hope Audrey's face stretches a bit more and pops off her skull, I hope a fucking bomb drops on CTU. fuck 24 for
killing tony
, why in the fuck did they have to
kill tony
. There was absolutely no reason to
kill tony
.

haha, nice use of the spoiler tags.

At least Curtis is still alive, and he better stay that way.

Its funny how everyone forget how much of a dick Tony used to be during 1st and 2nd season. Anyone remember when Jack broke Tony's ankle? We've come a long way...

While it seems as if he is dead, there is the possibility that he isn't. I mean with the way it happened it wasn't quite as clear cut as a bullet to the head or something. We'll know for sure next week I suppose.

As far as the definite death, I was surprised that it actually did have a slight impact on me. I mean, I wanted him dead as much as the next guy but (and I think I even made a post to that regard) it was kind of a harsh moment when he had to watch the random security guy die.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........

fuck 24 FOR fuckING KILLING OFF TONY.
Glad I saw the episode, i'd hate to be spoiled BY YOUR AVATAR AND CUSTOM USER TITLE!!! good god almighty, you change your avatar and stat every time someone dies

What, was Jack crying not enough for you? Not even Tony going "she's gone.." and going limp?

You really don't seriously think they killed him do you? Come on, this is 24, if they killed off a character like that it would be silent at the end, and Bauer would have already ran off and killed 5 people. He'll be back.
The emotional impact of the entire day thusfar, in addition to the reminder of her death could have lead to Jack's crying. When you go unconcious, you go limp.

Not to mention this is a guy that was SHOT IN THE fuckING NECK and blown up. Now that's hardcore.

Well, time to add moron to the list of names I've been called :)

At least you're blunt.

Even if multiple shows do it, dosn't mean the masses are.

but then again, I'm a moron. it's like they say "the bacon burns like most people want it too." Don't ask me what it means, because I'm a moron.

plus, I don't want to argue, because it leads to nowhere and fills threads with stuff nobody wants to read. Also, I see no reason in changing your opinion... just making a point.

I think the show would be more interesting if Jack died for real at the end of this season... I just can't get the picture of Keifer Sutherland as a psycho rapist out of my head from his roll in that Freeway movie with Reese Witherspoon and Brittany Murphy.
Glad I saw the episode, i'd hate to be spoiled BY YOUR AVATAR AND CUSTOM USER TITLE!!!
I forgot that not everyone has watched it yet so I changed it back.

You sir have some issues if all you do is knock down others. Please seek help.

Don't forget that he played a rapist in Eye for an Eye as well.

It is kind of funny that you seem to be more broken up about a fictional character's death than Kirby Puckett's death. You changed that avatar to
Tony
pretty quick there.

Meeyaa... point taken, you could indeed argue that the "masses" aren't up to par with 24, nor doing what the show 24 is doing. Yet, I no longer watch much television, so I'm far from an expert on it.

The bluntness, certainly a plus, the recent outbursts of hostility, probably not so much. No one likes an internet donkey, so I think I'll try to get back to being an internet Horse.
You sir have some issues if all you do is knock down others. Please seek help.
I don't see how stating the obvious is "knocking down others".
Don't forget that he played a rapist in Eye for an Eye as well.
That's right! Seriously, what's up with that guy? That's why I didn't watch the first few seasons of 24, simply because Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland creeps me the heggz out.

I was only going to have that one up for a day.. plus I did have Kirby's up not too long after I found out he left us. Anyways I know Scorch is being Scorch which I can't change but I'll admit I do get rather sick of his Scorchness taking everything a bit too seriously. He does need to chill out a bit... but that's just my opinion.

Anyways moving on... my other thoughts about the episode....

- I hope that they just left us on a cliffhanger on if Tony is really dead... I really hate to see them kill Tony off.

- Something tells me we haven't seen the last of Kim or her shrink/lover this season.

- Why do I get the feeling that Chloe will end up dead by the end of this season....

- I already don't like the Homeland Security woman coming in to take over CTU.. something just doesn't feel right.

- Any bets Logan is going to collapse under pressure by the end of this season?
