FYI, The Polar Express 3D is listed for 2500 points on WB Insider Rewards. Though, I redeemed my points for it a week ago and have yet to receive any kind of coupon code to order it from WBShop.

Has anyone ever redeemed WBIR points for a BD before? Anyone know a CS contact number for WBIR? (They don't seem to be responding to their contact form/email and calling the WBShop # didn't work.)
You checked under the "My Coupons" section right? I know that's where my coupon was location for something I redeemed (a Tv show set). I never got an email or anything about the redemption, but my code showed up under my coupons
I don't think they will work with the Samsung tv's will they?? If so, I want to get a pair of Samsung glasses for my Sony 3D tv. I have the youth pair of glasses I bought for my gf, but they fit my head too. My first pair was the PS display glasses, they are very uncomfortable.
No, the Sony 3D glasses that are the PS3 ones work with the 2010 Samsung TV's. As long as the technology is the same...RF vs Bluetooth, you should be ok.

So, you have the Sony PS 3D glasses and they are not comfortable? Seems like you have a smaller head if you can fit the youth glasses.

Hope you enjoy batman the animated series :D
I think it's just the whole principal of $40 for a 3D movie. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the 3D releases, and I've been buying a lot of them, but I'm not going to pay $30 for a piss poor release of something like Conan that gets bad reviews.
I agree totally. $25 is the most I'd pay for a 3D combo, less if it is a 3D standalone. I was more referring to how quickly they went off the shelves. I'm kind of ticked that Harold and Kumar is $28 at Best Buy. I was hoping for a deal on the first two if you bought the third one.

I need to buy two more pairs of 3D glasses (Samsung) and it looks the best way to do it would to be get one of the bundles. I have all of the movies that come in Samsung bundles so I was curious if anyone would want to split one of the bundles with me. I'll take the glasses and you can have the movies. If anyone is interested send me a PM. I was mostly looking at going through the marketplace or warehouse on Amazon.

2010 or 2011 Samsung? The bundles seem pricey

The Samsung active glasses were $30 apiece during the Black Friday "season"... I don't know which type they were, but I was wishing I could get individual pairs of Panasonic glasses (even uncomfortable ones) for that cheap. As it stands, it'd cost me at least $60 or $70 each for more glasses to go with my 42" Viera.
2011 Samsung and look through the other sellers on Amazon or in the warehouse. Such as:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...?ie=UTF8&qid=1328197184&sr=8-4&condition=used

Which considering what the movies go for on eBay and how the glasses are $40 or so separately is a good deal. I would just rather sell the movies to a fellow CAG than deal with eBay.
I'd be in for Megamind 3D, depending on what the cut would be.
Does anybody know When is Harry Potter 1 and 2 coming to 3D, not the Deathly Hallows ones.
I haven't even seen an announcement saying they were going to go back and 3d the originals.

The 3050's are only 30 bucks. Samsung actually has the cheapest active glasses. Best buy should have them. PaulsTV on amazon is usually even cheaper than that.

The bluetooth glasses are MUCH cheaper. I have a 2010 TV, and the 3D glasses are still $50 and up. That is why I was considering the Sony PS ones, but reviews are mixed.

These are some of the cheaper ones I've seen, but they look cheap also: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10909&cs_id=1090901&p_id=8578&seq=1&format=2

From what I read, there was a glitch last week on the WB Insider Rewards site where they took out your points but never gave you the code for the WBShop (though it seems most people only lost 15 points).
I'd continue sending them emails (daily/hourly) to get your coupon code or points back (sorry, don't have phone number).

I have a fairly big head actually, the youth glasses are just really big..the only thing I hate is that they're not rechargeable. The 3D display glasses are just oddly shaped, the sides of them are just awkward
I see that Green Hornet is on sale too, how is it? The movie itself was OKAY, but is the 3D worth $20?
I saw it in 3D in theater and no the 3D is waste of time. There was only a few spots where I think it would be noticeable.
hows Legend of the Guardians?
It's probably the most amazing looking movie I've ever seen to this point. I really like the use of 3D as well.

I have 4 pair of brand new Xpand Universal glasses to trade or sell if anyone here is interested. They came free with my television but I prefer to use DLP link glasses.

Which ones and how much do you want?
I should mention this is a terrible movie and nowhere near the capacity of the original film. I doubt the movie would benefit from a 3D conversion either.
Wasn't the one that took place in a mall Dawn of the Dead (remake of course). Is this a sequel to that one? I liked that one, but this one looks terrible.

Plus, any movie where the 3D takes up 50% of the box art should be considered shitty as they are hoping people will buy it for the 3d alone blindly.

No, it's not, even though it technically should have been the sequel to it.

I assumed it was since I believe Ving Rhames was in both of them.

Yeah, he plays completely different characters. That's a sure way to mess up continuity and con people in by thinking it's a true sequel. Then again, I don't know if it technically messes up the continuity, but I feel like it do.

No doubt. I think he was a cop in the first one and now he's in the military in this one. Yet another reason to know it's a crappy movie.

And that's just the start of it...

In regards to the questions about the Day of the Dead remake and continuity, here are some spoilers to the remake of Dawn and Day to help out:

Dawn: Every character is dead, even Ving Rhames, because the safe haven island was overloaded with zombies. I liked it and it was semi-faithful to the original, except for the ending.

Day: The story is not faithful. The characters have all been changed and shuffled in varying degrees. The Bub character is now shown before transformation. The original Bub was probably more human to be honest. The effects are quite poor and limp along, which makes the acting and plot need to be its cructches, and they don't suffice.
Look at the director "The History Channel"

This is not the James Cameron movie, this is a documentary.
Never said it was. Anyway retail is 29.95 so it's a deal.

Then you might as well link every single 3d blu that amazon has listed because I don't think anything actually sells for MSRP.

This

I'm pretty sure this is the price for it everywhere, even walmart I believe. 20 dollars is not a good price for a 3d documentary, all of them are that price pretty much.

There's also a 3d Three Muskateers movie that is just some crappy Asylum release that tries to trick people into buying it thinking it's the box office one when it's just a straight to video knockoff. Imo, that shouldn't be posted either as it may cause someone to buy it not realizing it and not getting what they want.

I don't mean to sound like I'm picking on the guy who posted it, but I didn't want anyone to think it was the James Cameron movie when it was posted as there is no box art for it yet.

Also, to add to the post. If anyone has a walmart near them, the My Bloody Valentine 3d is 19.99. This is the REAL 3d one, not the anaglyph one. Also 19.99 is Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 3d. Some have reported Resident Evil: Afterlife 3d to be 19.99 too, but it was still 24.99 at mine.
These http://www.amazon.com/Mitsubishi-3D...JFKO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1328413480&sr=8-4

Edit: $45
I was interested because you previously said "universal", but if these are definitely the glasses you have, I don't think they are... The listing clearly says "Mitsubishi televisions".

That and they use nonstandard batteries... could end up being more expensive than just buying some rechargeable glasses in the long run.

Is Three Muskateers 3D movie the real one from the movie theaters or a bootleg like dmdragon said

The US one isn't on 3D BD until March 13, this can be found on Best Buy and Amazon sites. Just look at the release date to figure out which one you are ordering.

This is the one for 20 on walmart.com with a whopping 2.2 rating on imdb

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1977681/

Just make sure the one you get is not by Asylum Entertainment and you should be fine.

Asylum loves making low budget, horrible knock offs with the same or similar titles to big theatrical movies coming out on dvd/blu-ray and bring them out around the same time to try to trick people into buying it instead.

The big one was "Transmorphers: Fall of Man" which came out about the exact same time as "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" to try to cash in on this. And the original Transmorphers came out about the same time as Transformers.

Here's an IMDB review of Transmorphers: Fall of Man

I could not believe one of the "Transformers" movies had ended up so quickly on TV, not to mention on the no-budget Sci-Fi Channel. Then it began to dawn on me, especially when Shia LaBoeuf failed to appear and Bruce Boxleitner did: I was actually watching a ripoff of the big-budget movie, and an Asylum flick to boot. Horrible! It's men versus killer robots, except it's mostly men (and a woman or two) standing around, talking about killer robots. And the robots that do turn up are just plain silly looking. I wanted to claw my eyes out. But I did the next best thing and turned the damned thing off. I hope you will do the same.,
