Played a few hours of Pokemon TGC without even realizing it.

Fun flashback for sure, great to have on the go. At $6 it's a no brainer for the nostalgia alone.

My memory has that game being really short. I remember loving it, but it was over so fast.
You must have had better drops than me, because I had to grind for ages to build a good deck. I don't think I ever actually completed my pokedex, or whatever it was called in that one.

Gotta buy'em all??  I'm hoping for a pokemon sale in the future to pick up all the retro pokemon games digitally.  It's nice to be able to play them all on one system, but not all full priced digtal games.  These need to be $5 or less!!!

What's the word on Tetris Ultimate? I haven't played a good Tetris game since Tetris DS, and that's really sad. Did Nintendo lose the license?

Atlus considers those "premium" games for whatever reason.
Really surprised everyone hasn't been losing their minds over Pokemon TCG since everyone was salivating for it since it dropped in EU.
I gave up and bought the Game Boy Color version over the summer. I wanted desperately to play that, the Dragon Warriors, and a few others.

Anyone who's a fan of pencil puzzles should check out Puzzler World 2013.  There are tons of puzzles, both traditional (crossword, word search) and modern (Link-a-pix), and the interface is excellent.  I've put over 35 hours in, and I'm not even done with half the puzzles.  For $3, it's a ridiculous value.

We probably would be if ORAS wasn't right around the corner.

Looks like Best Buy may be honoring the glitch, too. Mine just moved to preparing shipment. At this rate I might get it on release day, to boot. :D/

They definitely are both my duel packs just shipped.

Now Target just needs to ship my Smash B2G1 from June.

Ironically I haven't gotten either copy of Freaky Forms yet.  By the tracking they got to the local sorting center over a week ago and haven't updated since.  I'm wasn't going to complain until I had ORAS in my hands.

Here are the new deals for this week:

Classic Games Overload: Card & Puzzle Edition - $19.99 - 33% Off - Ends 12/1

The Keep - $7.99 - 38% Off - Ends 12/4

Real Heroes: Firefighter 3D - $4.99 - 50% Off - Ends 12/4

New Releases:

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom - $29.99

Battle Miner - $9.99

Chat-A-Lot - $7.99

Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 2 - $9.99

Battle Miner is a Minecraft clone with ants being the main mobs and a goal of rescuing survivors while doing all of the mining and crafting you'd expect.

Another bonus that comes with this is 30 Club Nintendo coins (20 for the registration survey, 10 for the post play survey). Actually, the other $2.99 Brain game from the same company is also worth 30 coins total.

You know, I was eyeing this and kind of on the fence, but then you mentioned the CN points, which I hadn't thought about getting, and I was totally sold. Thanks. :)

Why do Club Nintendo surveys and stuff expire so Goddamn fast? I feel like I just bought Fantasy Life, and the registration expires today. It's annoying. So I register it, and then I see the post-play expires today, too. I haven't even played it yet! The website is so f*cking slow that by the time the survey loads it'll be expired.

With "N" you can never know how or why they do anything, but I would guess in this situation it has something to do with them wanting the information while it's fresh in a gamers mind. If you buy a game, play it, and put it away and then fill out the survey 3-6 months later, how detailed will the information be? This is just a guess on my part, but it makes sense when you think about it.

They probably want to take advantage of the people that don't fill the surveys out right away so that there are less people with tons of coins out there even though they have no rewards to buy on there these days.

It makes sense, but I'm a dirty, cheap game hoarder who buys a game intending to play it, then doesn't, or buys a game cheap intending to hoard it. And so then I just fill the stuff out anyway and use it as a platform to air my cranky complaints about the Virtual Console, lack of an account system, and lack of RPGs. Joke's on me this time though, because just as I finished the Fantasy Life post-play, I got the "WOOPS!" screen.

Just cranky in general today, but it makes me wonder why I bother. They don't actually care about my opinions, and the rewards and gold/platinum rewards aren't that great anyway. I like the free games, but I think I have most/all, and I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

Yeah, I have to agree. I don't know why I bother anymore. The rewards are complete shit at this point, and it really doesn't seem worth the effort(at least for my own benefit). My son has a 2DS and I'm getting him a WiiU for Christmas, so I'll probably keep doing it just so he can get those free games that I've owned several times over the years.

Does the eShop have any history of doing black friday deals?  Only got a couple of thigns I'm really looking to pick up, and not really hoping for anything major from them, but curious as to if I should expect anything at all from them.

They will be doing some this year:

The Nintendo eShop Cyber Deals will bring you some great prices on great games from Thursday, November 27 at 9 am PT to Tuesday December 2 at 8:59 am PT. Save up to 30% on the following titles:

Luigi’s Masion™: Dark Moon
Wario Land™ 2
Wario Land™ 3
Metroid™ II-Return of Samus™
Wii U:

The Wonderful 101™
Wii Party™ U
Mario & Luigi™: Superstar Saga

If Luigi is only 30% off, I can't see returning my just-purchased physical copy for it, but who knows. W101 would be nice, but I think the trade-in has dropped too far to make double-dipping worth it [or maybe not]. Sounds like there will be at least a few more games included.

Thanks.

Nothing there I'm interested in sadly. Doubt any of the games I want will be on sale - combination of too high profile with too low profile. Ah well. I still need to try and get in on some of the 15% off eShop cards - would really like to be able to pick Zelda: OoT and MM for cheaper, since at least the first one never seems to go on sale ever.

If I didn't have Fusion on my 3DS, I'd grab it. Pretty disappointing list to be honest. Was hoping for some more indy offerings.

There's always a small chance we'll have other stuff on sale as well since that list is all first party. Then again I wouldn't count on it with how sad the eShop sales have been for some time now.

It's right in the PR!  Possible it's just referring to the currently running sales that go through that period, we'll see.

Plus, don't forget to check out some of the other great titles on sale!

Which probably means go buy The Letter and all the other over priced crap shovelware that has been constituting the sales for the most part. Doesn't mean that third parties are going to automatically step up and bring the goods.

Don't think it's been pointed out yet but Natsume is having a sale. Some Harvest  Moon stuff but most notably Yumi's Odd Odyssey  for $9.99. Just bought it before I saw BB was having an eShop card sale but oh well...
