My understanding is that the Isabella one is pretty well like in JP.
And in JP it's normal to dress up like a comic book character and walk around. In America, not so much.

And in JP they've had this 3DS for a while... US? Not so much. Even the NEW 3DS, no faceplates.

Still.... I stand by my make fun of you comment. That's right, I'm Donald Trump'ing it.

In case you haven't heard, Ace Attorney 6 has been announced, will have a demo at Tokyo Game Show, and is scheduled for a Western release.

That's an odd way to release the smaller new 3DS... I wonder why they didn't release a few of them in the first place? I wanted the smaller one, but I already have the big one now, so... why would I bother?

I still wonder how regular DS games look on the smaller New 3DS. I wanted the smaller but worried DS games would either look too small in the pixel-perfect mode, and gross in the full-screen mode, as they did on the old small 3DS.

I preferred playing DS games on my DSi over my 3DS, as the screen was slightly larger. The New 3DS has screens that are (slightly) even larger, so I'm thinking they'll look great.

Because Nintendo.

I guess you wouldn't bother then. Not all products are for everyone.
Well it's just a bit annoying, because the regular size was what I wanted in the first place, and I bought the giant size instead since that was all that was available here. I'm sure a lot of other folks will be in the same situation.

I did the same, but I sale on Ebay daily, so I'll just put my red N3DS XL up for sale once I do my transfer, and call it a day. I figured from day one they would do some shit like this, so no real surprise. My only issue really was their transfer limit of 5 total awhile back, as that made me pause when there was issues like this. But since they removed that limit, my only real issue is the time it takes to transfer, and sale the old system off.

Yeah, I might do the same... If they let you have all your junk on multiple systems, the way Apple lets you have it on, say, both your phone and iPad, that would be kind of neat. I like variety. But... that's not the case. (And it makes sense... We are talking quality, full-price games here, not goofy $1-15 apps...)

Then again, I think if you have two PS Vitas, Sony allows you to have your stuff on both...

Microsoft does, too. I have a couple of XBOnes and can play any of my games on either.

But this is Nintendo we're talking about... I've given up being angry at them and just mostly lol at the situation.

okay hearing two different stories

I want to buy a  3ds off ebay that has games  on it.. so i call up nintendo  and though this would be easy

I ask them   you would have to put  both  systems together to do the transfer and  all of the games on the Ebay  system would be on my system.  they go   NO the games on that  3ds system is link to their account so they would have to  call in and  remove the games by hand.. There is no way to get the games off their account  (meaning there is no way to put their games on my system)

they have ambassor games and a pokemon x  download on their system.    They said there is no way to add those games to my system since it would have two  network IDS

kind of sucks really wanted ambassor games

It's my understanding that if downloads are tied to an actual NNID, there is no way to transfer them to a different account. BUT it's not actually necessary to use an NNID on your system, so if that hasn't been done yet then it's possible to merge.

Yeah, everyone allows multiple systems except "N". They are always miles behind the competition, and seem happy to live in the dark ages.

Yeah, the games are assigned to the specific systems, and not accounts. If you bought a system that has games on it, and then add to that collection, you can always move that set to another system. Sadly, if games are on two different devices, you can't then add from one to another.

Just to be fair, I've been dealing with a lot of crap on Sony's end lately that's horribly implemented, which Nintendo handles flawlessly.

My old Vita memory card got lost when I swapped it out for a 64GB one - which cost eighty-five dollars - and thanks to cartridges saving to the memory card, ALL of my game saves are gone.

Blame yourself for not using the feature of cloud saves.

Sony lost your memory card? Bastards.
Don't go that rroute. Nobody would be defending Nintendo if their 3DS was lost or stolen.

The same basic principle applies here; a bad situation worsened by poor company practices. In this case not having cartridges save to the actual cartridge like any other game system ever. (I'm not even the one who lost the card in the first place. Anyway, that's just one of several problems I have with Sony.)

Cartridge saves are a bad idea anyway, it's just another thing I hate about Nintendo. Have four people in your house? fuck you, says Nintendo.

Actually most cartridge-based games with saves will offer up multiple save slots so various people can play the same game. There are exceptions of course, but I would say those aren't usually the norm.

Yes, three slots is the most I've seen. Which is completely useless to us.

God forbid we use the SD card in our handhelds. Nooooooo. Not that.

Some Vita games do save to the game card. It's just that it's up to the developers to do what is best for them. Both have big potential issues when it comes to save management, but having cloud and PC storage options to back them up helps a great deal to minimize that stuff on Vita. Nintendo has some similar stuff of their own, though I'd like them to have as flexible of a backup system as Sony's so I don't have to wait hours to get my new 3DS's up to speed.

Did you not have PS Plus? Sony cloud saves work well, unlike Microsoft's.

Not really. Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 has 1 cartridge save slot and 8 SD save slots. You can preserve the save you want on the cart, and anyone in the house can still all have their own saves.

Pay to keep your save files. kek

I don't have ps plus, I've been managing fine transferring the files to my pc. But there is a major flaw in tying the save to the game files on digital games. PS1 and PSP saves are still separated. It's really just Sony's anti-piracy measures keep hurting the paying customers.

I think I'll bite on Gunman Clive (yes, I know I asked in the wii u part, too, but I want more than one opinion).  Should I get the wii u version, or the 3ds version.

"Want to use a different 3DS? Did your 3DS/SD card break? Well, too bad. Not only do you not get to play your digital games, but now you lose all of your progress on your physical games, too."

There's a demo of Project Mirari on the eShop, right?  BBY just shipped it apparently and I have no idea if this is something I even want.

I have no love for Miku but love rhythm games. I'll download the demo and see how I feel about it then.
