I've dealt with this site before and they offer great customer service and reasonable shipping rates ($2.25 for the first game + $0.99 for each additional).

Oh my god, what a treasure trove. Everything I wanted from EB from most of the morning updates are available right there with far better prices and cheapter shipping! I could NOT be happier right now!

Thanks, OP!
A lot of these products say "LD". Anyone know what that means?
I think it's label damage. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It makes sense though (but a few LD games are more expensive than their non-LDish counterparts.. strange).

A: This indicates that the item has Light Damage. This means a missing cover, some writing on the item, or some other problem that does not affect the playability of the item. It is still guaranteed to play perfectly, and is offered at a lower price than the higher quality same item.

I picked up a lot of sweet games....probably more so than I should have. Oh well, Merry Xmas to me!!

Thanks OP!
Anyone know if this store is legitimate? I can't find any reviews for it and they seem to have a presence only in Illinois.
They have several B&M stores in the Chicago area, which, while overpriced the last time I've visited, seemed to be on the level. I'll have to see if these prices are reflected there when I get home Friday.

Wow, nice find OP.

I'm probably not going to jump on the sale, but here are a couple of nice finds:

Genesis:

Phantasy Star II $8.48
Phantasy Star III $10.19
Shining In The Darkness $6.48
What are the chances of the ones not saying (LD) coming complete?
Based on what I've seen in their stores, nil.

shipping sucks though. i grabbed like $15 bucks worth of games and shipping is like the same price. $30 something total.

so basically any nes game is the price x 2.
What are the chances of the ones not saying (LD) coming complete?
It says in the FAQ that all cartridge games are cart-only, and all disc games include the manuals.

well I bit and ordered some stuff. Some snes games, a few dreamcast things, and an import Saturn game. It was $60 + $10 shipping.
Bah! Ridiculous shipping prices kill the deal. Wonder is the sale is good in their B&M stores too?
Hmm... shipping for 3 Genesis games is only $4.23. I added a random NES game and it only upped the shipping to $5.22.

Nice! Lots of harder to find games for good prices. I picked up Tetris Attack for $8. I saw lots of other stuff but I need to wait until after Xmas to spend any more money.

Also, according to the site their shipping policy on price is $2.25 for the first item, $0.99 for each additional item (for USA). Reasonable IMO.

thats too much for me. I like me nes games 2.00 or less total. Shipping is like 1.50 each or something. I hate shipping. i think ebgames.com spoils me thats all.

Edit: i didnt see above post on actual shipping price.

Yeah, shipping for one NES game was 2.25, three was 4.23. I'm debating a few games, just can't seem to get myself to bite.

i thought dracula x for $25 was a really hot deal, until i saw the ebay prices have plummeted to about $30.. what the hell happened to this game?

Maybe there has been some mention of a remake or port?

SNES Castlevania IV 4.94
SNES WWF Raw 2.59
SNES Saturday Night Slammasters 3.39
NES Operation Wolf 1.39
NES Wild Gunman 2.28
NES Gumshoe 1.89
NES Freedom Force 1.53
NES Tmnt 3 Manhattan Project (LD) 3.93
NES Kirbys Adventure (LD) 2.84
NES Jackal 1.19
NES Hogans Alley 3.84

Sub Total: $ 29.81
Shipping Total: (Domestic) $ 12.15
Grand Total: $ 41.96

Yeah shipping hurts it, but online deals on stuff like this are few and far between. Some nostalgaic classics, great oldies that I never quite finished, and like 85% of the entire NES light gun library. Best of all I can finally quit looking for Super CastleVania during the EB update every morning. :D

Wow, great find. I'm kinda anxious about getting the LD stuff, but they said it was guaranteed to work, so that's all I'm concerned about because they didn't have any non-damaged options for some of the games.

Revelations Demon Slayer (LD) 6.53
Pokemon Silver LD 6.99
Zelda Link's Awakening LD 2.89

Shipping 4.23
Total 20.64
$80 for Blazing Heroes??

I should sell my copy of dat crappy game.
Yeah they do have some inflated prices on the more "rare" games.

dracula X is tempting, but i'll pass.

$26 before shipping, in case anyone is wondering
Yeah they do have some inflated prices on the more "rare" games.
All of their PS1 prices are ridiculously high -- I think it's whole systems, not individual games. As someone stated about their retail stores upthread, it seems that their standard prices are pretty darn high. So, the lesson here is "don't buy anything that's not on sale", and I think we all already know that one!!

I really don't think their shipping is excessive. Mine worked out to $1.17 per item, which is far better than you can get on ebay or even half.com. The only better route is an EB 50% off classics sale, and while I've been blessed by those, their point is to permanently clear out stock and it's working -- slim pickings by now. So I'm pleased with this purchase.

I bought:
Sega Genesis Mega Bomberman 7.99
Sega Genesis Strider (LD) 2.84
Sega Genesis Rocket Knight Adventures 2.64
Sega Genesis Streets of Rage (LD) 2.74
Sega Genesis Dynamite Headdy 2.39
SNES Prince of Persia 3.39
NES Lolo 3.03
for $33 shipped.

I have heard of this chain before, but have yet to go in to one of their stores. Maybe I will check out the Hindsdale, North Riverside, or Mount Prospect stores. I am in those areas every now and then.

I know this is a bit much too ask..But do they come with cases and Instructions? Im so tempted But I dont want a disc only. I bookmarked it!!

EDIT:

Just found this in the FAQ

Q: Do the video games you sell include the box and instructions?

A: If they are cartridge-based games, like NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, or Game Boy, you will receive the cartridge only. If they are disc-based such as PS2 or Xbox, the instruction booklet will be included.

How Bout Dreamcast?? :bouncy:

Hot deals, especiall on the pre-32bit stuff. About half auction prices, in many cases... shipping still works out, it's just intimidating. Sure, a $30 order goes to $40, but you have 10 games at $4 each. Still far cheaper than you'll find anywhere else. I personally emulate everything pre-32bit, and have pretty much all I want in other consoles, but for people needing to get their fix on old gems the prices are great.

Why isn't this on the front page? Why isn't anything ever on the front page anymore?

Tokyo time differences and Cheapy wanting the forum goes to have first grabs. Private message him to make sure he's seen the thread and suggest it for the front page! He may not have checked on this forum since last night.
Aw, man, someone took Yoshi's Island. :(
