Hey all, didn't see this posted but stopped by Carl's Jr for lunch today and noticed they are selling a keychain of the car from the upcoming Green Hornet movie for $1.99 and it comes with a little coupon book. One of the coupons is $50 off a PSP Go at Target (Expires 2/28/11). I'm assuming these are the same coupons at both Carl's Jr and Hardees since some of the food coupons are for both restaurants.

All the coupons included:
$10 off at efxusa.com (using code greenhornet2011 / Valid till 4/20/2011)
20% off at teleflora.com/hornet (Valid till 3/31/2011
$50 off PSP Go system at Target (In store coupon good till 2/28/11)
$3 off select Sony Blu-rays at Amazon (use code GRHORNET at checkout / good till 1/31/11). [As of the time of posting this, the link on the coupon won't work for me, but the code might work on some Sony Blu-Rays)
$3 off Grown Ups or The Other Guys DVD/Blu Ray. (Coupon you can use in store, or use code COMEDYS3 on Amazon / Good till 2/13/11)
$10 off any W-Series Sony Cyber-Shot Camera at www.sonystyle.com/thegreenhornet (Use code green hornet / good 12/1/10-2/11/2011)
Free Medium Drink with any grilled chicken salad (Carl's Jr till 3/31/2011)
Free Small Fries and Drink with any six dollar burger (Carl's Jr till 3/31/2011)
Free Small Fries and Drink with and 1/3lb. Thickburger (Hardees till 3/31/2011)
$1 off Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders Combo (Hardees till 3/31/2011)

Hopefully no one posted this because I'd be pissed that I just typed all this out, otherwise here's to hoping for a major sale on the PSP Go at Target!
Are there any Carls' Jr in PORTLAND OREGON selling the keychain wi/coupon book? I called a few, but was unsuccessful in finding one that was selling the keychain.
I know this is a bit late reply (didn't see your post the first time), but the Carls Jr by WinCo on Cornell and Cornelius Pass had it for a while. Don't know about now though. Haven't been there in a while.

Hey stealth-MOD, You deleted some of the thread but not all of it... ^^^

no go in wisconsin. They said that the promo was mainly in southern parts of the country
Is there any trick to getting Target to price match + coupon?

Or just have them price match it, and 'then' use the coupon, and hope for the best?
Make sure to have them PM first, and then tell them "Oh I also have this coupon". If they scan the coupon it will work, no override needed.

Here ya go... again:

Thanks man.

I just wish I knew what size to print out the coupon as. Will it still scan if it's too big? =P

I don't know if it will scan but you can try and resize it to it's actual size (3.5"x2"). You probably should crop it first, then insert into microsoft word. From there if you right click on it, you can resize it by clicking on "size". Insert the height as 2" and the width should automatically adjust to ~3.5" if it has the fixed aspect ratio check box checked. That's how I did it anyway, there's probably an easier way.

It's not very big. 3.5" x 2"
I just measured my spare copy from my pocket.

I still have a coupon sitting in my wallet. I grabbed a pspgo at GS after trading in some games and was debating about picking up a brand new one at Target after price matching. The pspgo I have now is FW 6.3 and I think I need it to be one less than that for the whole cfw to work.

HENs (Homebrew ENablers) have been (very) recently released for use with up to 6.31 and 6.35. I'd say at least try them out, and if they work then you should be fine. 'sides, with Mathileiu (or however you spell it) having the PSP master key now (apparently), Firmware restrictions on homebrew / whathaveyou are going to be a thing of the past.

Do you know if you're allowed to get the PM price & use just one coupon more than once within the same transaction? I wanted to get 2 PSPGos. I was thinking of getting one as an early b-day present for my brother-in-law.

Highly unlikely.

They had plenty PSPGos available at my local Target. When I asked if they would price match, the employee working in electronics told me that she wasn't allowed to and that I would have to go to customer service to have it PMed. So I walked back to the front of the store while she had the PSPGo "escorted" up. When I got to customer service, the employee looked at the paper for 2-3 minutes and then told me some BS about not being able to PM since the ad states "$149.99 while supplies last". I asked him "Even if I got this ad from a store that in fact had PSPGos available?". He then said something about not being able to call other stores to verify. So needless to say I'm a bit annoyed, but maybe I'll get lucky and Target will advertise the PSPGo for $149 before the coupon expires.

You're probably better off. He was making up crap about not PMing, there's little chance he'd take a coupon on top of the PM.

To me, the employee's words are translated to "I wasn't paying attention when they taught us how to pricematch, and the guy who knows how to is at lunch, so I'm trying to save face and BS you."

Thanks Oz. I'll give them a call. Hopefully they'll still have some left.

After one day of owning the PSP Go, I am rather impressed with the clarity of the LCD screen and the overall build quality. Definitely a step above the current 2000 I own. I think I'm gonna trade in the UMDs at gamestop and convert the credit into PSN cards now. :D

Was at Target returning a game today and realized that this deal was going on so I gave it a shot. Had $80 from Christmas in gift cards after the return so I decided to go get a coupon and flier from Radio Shack to give it a shot and worked no problems, they didn't even call a local RS for stock.

Payed $30 out of pocket for the system, made my day.

After seeing the tip for the ad at Radio Shack, I grabbed an ad and went back to the Target which, during the holidays, refused to price match Halo Wars from $29.99 to TRU's $19.99 when I had the receipt and not an ad. Coincidentally, this was the same Target that had the white PSPgo priced at $249.99 that I previously mentioned the other day.

I had them price match to Radio Shack to the $149.99 price and then tossed the $50 off coupon out of my wallet when I paid AND they gave me back the ad, I freakin knew they didn't keep it. That's $100 for something they were trying to sell for $250. Suck it Target! I finally feel vindicated by their crappy treatment during the holidays.

Anyways, thanks raarar, Vader582, jling84 and everyone who has confirmed the ads are at RS. You guys are awesome. ^_^

There are means for you to play those games you own on your PSP go as well. I would reccomend against trading them in.

Gamestop gives a pittance for PSP games now, they just don't sell. Would be lucky to get more than $2-3 each if they weren't games released this year.

The same happened to me. Ended up having to go to three Targets to get one. The first one didn't want to use the coupon and price match. The second one said the same thing about not PMing limited quantities. Third time was the charm.

I can only suggest going to a different Target or possibly coming back at a different time (either when they're busy or maybe near closing).

so is the coupon book still active?I have not gone to Carls JR in a while are they still selling it and do you have to ask for it or are they in the front where you can see? I may give this a try for $100 why not.

@lakers2008: I'm pretty sure all the coupon books are the same. There are only really 2 actual bar-coded coupons in the coupon book, one for $50 off the PSPgo at Target and the other is a manufacturer's $3 off for either Grown Ups or The Other Guys on DVD or Blu-ray. Everything else is promo codes or free food with purchase at Carl's Jr vouchers. All you need to do if you want one is buy the Green Hornet, "Black Beauty" car key chain, the coupon comes in the same plastic bag as the key chain.

Has anyone signed into their PSN account via the PSPgo and gotten their voucher code yet? I just want to make sure that's all I have to do to receive the 3 free downloadable games. They said it would take a week to email the voucher codes, I just don't want to wait a week and then realized I was supposed to do something more than just sign into my account.

I have.
Received my new PSP Go on 12/17 and signed in to the PSN the same day.
On 12/20, I decided to register my console's serial number to my account online.
On 12/21, I got a single voucher code for all 3 games.

I did notice this just now at the bottom of the email:
You have received this email because you opted to receive correspondence from us.

Please do not respond to this email. This is an automated mailbox.
So opt-in people, at least until you get your games. I'm not sure if registering the serial number helped but I'd do both to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the replies, I decided to register my PSP to my account hoping for a quicker email.

Damn, trekked all the way over to my local Carl's Jr. during my lunch break only to find it converted into a pawn shop.

yes

Using a radioshack ad printout and the tgt coupon printout I was denied, stating they wont pm ad printouts.

Went to radioshack to snag an ad, returned to tgt, out the door with a $99 go.

yup just gone one for 108 after tax. had to drive around different targets since they were all sold out. ended up with a black one. Customer service new about the ad and coupon. i showed them the ad they said if I had the coupon too I say of course. He put it into the system and bam brand new GO for 109. NOT bad. may buy another one before Sunday if local targets restock

They accepting your printed coupon? How'd you manage that?

Even though there's no certainty of getting this deal & wasting a ton of gas in the process, my inner cheapass is saying "Go for it".

Apparently Walmart now price matches competitor's coupons/manufacture's coupons. I'm gonna try and price match radioshack's price then see if they'll price match this Target coupon.

do you have proof. link to their site or anything?

? I handed it to them.

Look at this week's ad. In the upper right corner it says so.

like skateraxviii said, if you go to walmart.com and on the top, there is a tab that says local ad... type in your zip code. and the first page of the ad should say on the top right it should read "we'll match the price of any local competitor's printed ad or coupon for an identical product"

Then right under it in white big letters it says. "Price Matching. Coupon Accepted"

couple things i'm curious about. really? they are accepting printed ads now? stores are usually particular about brining in an actual non-print ad. My nearest target (which is pretty far away 45 miles) even says you need to bring the full ad with all the pages in it. secondly, coupons also? i'm immediately calling my local walmart to find out.
? I handed it to them.
Blah. I guess you just need to find somebody who just doesn't care.

How big did you print it out as?

Worked for me!

1. Went to Radioshack and got the ad
2. Went to Target and had them price match (it was at the customer service desk, so I was nervous this would end up being a problem for me in the end...)
3. Gave them the $50 off coupon

Got the Black PSP GO for $107.xx

Well, I'm shocked.

Worked for me today, with the physical Radio Shack Ad and a printed off coupon.

Waited until the lady price matched the Go, and told me it would be $160 after tax, then said, "Oh, I have this coupon here as well."

She scanned it, it went through, but she still called the customer service manager over to see if it was acceptable. I thought I was screwed, but no, she said it was fine.

New PSP Go for $107.

Not bad!
