I stopped in a K-Mart today because they had another 2-day sale going on. It didn't look like the 2-day sale included any video games this time, but the clerk told me they would be having their 50% off sale again this weekend. So, I'm guessing this will include all the usual suspects from previous K-Mart sales.

SALE ON at my Kmart anyway . . .

No Metroid Zero Mission, darn!!! Also looking for Wario Ware GBA.

Anyone have Zero Mission for trade? Or Metal Slug Advance?

I did get:
Viewtiful Joe 2 (GC) for $10 maybe for trade?
Fairly Odd Parents Shadow Showdown (GC) for $10 . . . bought this for my son
and got Tetris Worlds (GBA) for $7.50!

I saw some of the other games . . . Blinx 2 for $10 . . . I would buy it for $5.
 
This is so weird. I just got back from my KMart, and it was a no go. I have no money to spend anyhow, but they had all of the games that I wanted. I guess that I'll just head out again next month. No rush for me.

My local K-Mart had no signs in the electronics area last time but certain games would be onsale when scanned on the register. The Roanoke store had a nice bin set aside though.

I had to find the electronic cashier, have them unlock 2 games that I know are on the list, and scan them both. This is a weird one, but I can't buy the games anyhow...I mean, I shouldn't, so....
 
It would be nice if they'd add a few new games each time. I'm still playing through Baten Kaitos and I haven't even opened Viewtiful Joe 2 from the last K-Mart sale. I also bought Wario Ware Mega Microgames and my daughter and I play it from time to time.

I've pretty much got all the ones I want from this sale...just wish they add some new ones each time.
 
I went to three K-marts. They were all slacking on getting any signage up. The first one I went to had signs for 50% select video games but they didn't have anything I was looking for so I didn't get anything scanned. I then went to two more K-marts and had both Wario Ware Inc scanned as well as Metroid/Wavebird bundle. No sale at all one those two and no signs at all at those K-marts. I really wanted Wario Ware Inc. for $15 too.

So this MUST be a YMMV situation. Why can't all KMarts have the same clearance sale? Not worth my time, though there are games that I want, to go driving around town this month. I'll wait again next month.
 
No new games? I've already picked up all the titles I wanted from the last two sales. K-mart really needs to add some fresh blood to this list. Sheesh.
 
just got back from the Kmarts in Brookfield and Waukesha, WI - there *IS* a 50% off sale going on at those locations, although it is very poorly organized (but hey, what can you expect from Kmart?). at the Brookfield store they had three plastic bins sitting on the counter with a printed sign saying 50% off for 2-days only. the Waukesha store had it set up in the aisle with a similar sign. selection was limited; however, they had two copies of Viewtiful Joe 2 behind the glass with $39.99 stickers on them, and it rang up for $9.99 (i only bought one of the copies). this is what else i saw that i remember (50% off the sticker price listed):

Just to clarify: Baten Kaitos is for the Gamecube, not PS2. And it is a hell of a game: Top 5 best RPG of the last couple generations easy.

I just hit two Kmarts (Barberton and Stow, OH). Both of them had the sale going on. One of them had impeccable signage and poor selection, while the other had poor signage and a much better selection. I wonder if there's a connection there? I picked up Soul Calibur II (GC).
 
I was able to check one K-Mart and got Metroid Classic NES for 10. They tried to sell it to me for 15 but they had it out near the 50% stuff and they gave it to me for 10, since it had a tag for 20 on it. There is a freakin marathon between me and the other K-marts in the area and didn't feel like going out to the freeway to get around it. I'll check tommarow though.
 
Must...resist...sale!! I wanna check out BR2 since I missed it last time. For $15 it seems pretty good :)

It is just like buying the wavebird and getting metroid for free so its not that bad but I wanted it for $20.

How much is Red Dead Revolver/is it any good? I've been slightly interested in it.

What GC/PS2 games do you have to trade? The Kmart I went to did have Kill Switch on Xbox, but I don't have an Xbox.

I liked it. Decent third person shooter, and has multiplayer, but I havent tried it. For 10 dollars, its definitely worth it.

Regarding the sale... nothing too great near mine. I passed on a few good games last time in the hopes of seeing them again, but it looks like they got cleaned out. My store was also lazy: they simply stuck a tag on the shelf saying that select games were 50 percent off. I noticed Blinx, NHL2k5, and Rumble Roses on the shelf.

I went out to my local Kmart and the electronics guy was clueless about a sale. Went to the front desk and they referred me to elctronics. There were no signs no blue light specials at all. I guess that why it's YMMV.
 
From my understanding, this is a nationwide sale, no YMMVs about it (other than each store's selection). Print out the list and take it to Kmart with you. Even if they don't have any sale notices, find a game on the list and have them scan it. I have no doubt that it would come up half off.
 
Woo! I went to my local K-Mart and sure enough the sale was goin on.

They had a few bins out with crap in them (sports games, etc.) but I checked in the cases and I was able to find:

Mario Golf Advance Tour for $14.99
Rumble Roses for $19.99

WOO!

Oddly enough, I also checked the price on Hamtaro for GBA, which WAS $14.99 during the last sale (but I didn't have to much cash so I couldn't really justify a purchase at that time), but it rang up $29.99 today.....weird....
