I stopped in a K-Mart today because they had another 2-day sale going on. It didn't look like the 2-day sale included any video games this time, but the clerk told me they would be having their 50% off sale again this weekend. So, I'm guessing this will include all the usual suspects from previous K-Mart sales.

I got a few copies of sealed MSG2 in the original packaging. Aren't these worth a lot of dough. I also bought several craptastic games for $3. Don't some stores like Gamestop and Babbages buy these games during promotions?
 
sale on here in sw burbs of chicago. 2 of 3 kmarts had stuff put aside. not great selection, but just thought i'd let you know it was a go here.

edit: just a note though, link to the past (gba) was not 50% off like last time. it rang up at $30.

Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance for the PS2 is the one that is worth a lot. Double check Ebay though as the the original Sons Of Liberty sealed probably is worth something too.
 
hmm, seems like some clearence prices are YMMV. I know the kmart I went to had Rumble Roses and Amplitude at regular price.

Regardless I ended up scoring SSX3 and Monster Hunter for $9.99 and $14.99.

Daaaamn...Monster Hunter for 15 is a great deal. I paid 50 and I love that game. Such an awesome game.

Haven't gone to the Kmart near me yet, just stopping by the house for a second and to print out the list, but wow, Sly 2 is apart of this sale. Wasn't expecting that one...still, I think I'll wait for it to be $20 at BB and then GGC it.

One thing that I noticed this time is that there were a heck of a lot of games in the case that I never noticed before, at least in the PS2 section. Monster Hunter was maybe 4-5 titles back from the front. I'm glad that PS2 games have the names on the top or I would have missed it!

The one on Rancho/Craig. They had a bunch of games including BloodRayne 2, Mark of Kri, Rise to Honor, and Shadow Hearts : Covenant.

I dont know if this is really in the sale. it might be a mistake because it was in the pile. non of the games that was suppose to be in the sale rang up 50% off so the guy had to over ride the prices and he did sly 2 band of theives as well. there were only 2 in the 50% off pile. There were also alot of them on the racks; not in the pile. so go give it a try. you might get lucky.

Got Baten Kaitos and I think it was the last one. Anyway the K-mart I went to (in Elizabethtown, PA if anyone lives near and wants to check it out) had a bunch of games. They were kind of hard to see since they are all just shoved in the case, but it seemed that they had signs up for all the titles they had, and they didn't have the sign up for a game if they didn't have it. I could be wrong though. They've had a lot games for both this sale and the previous sale, but for some reason all the games are locked up this time, while last time they just had them in some bins. Worthwhile trip for me.
 
My Kmart is running the sale. Not much has changed since I ransacked it last month. The only games of interest I saw was $10 FZero (GCN), $10 Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1), $10 Final Fantasy Origins. Let me know if anyone is interested in these and I'll pick them up for you for cash or trade.

Nope, it should last today and tomorrow and that's it. They tend to come up every month though and much of the time with a few new items added to the list.

NES series, $10. It was the last one, too. $10 was the most expensive I would have gone for the game, so I caved. Sorry, I should have clarified.

That's odd, I was just there about an hour or so ago, and they had a few good titles left. They had a ton of Megaman X: Command Mission[ps2] and Rumble Roses, aswell as a copy or two of Men of Valor and Crash Twistanity.

I was going to pick up Men of Valor but the old hag at the register refused to check to make sure it was part of the sale. She just kept telling me that prices were as marked and that is was not part of the sale....yet she didn't know which games were marked, so I just left with nothing inhand.

The Wilkes-Barre one still has a ton of stuff left. From the top of my head I can remember about three or four copies of Rumble Roses and Splinter Cell. They also have one copy of Monster Hunter and BloodRayne 2[xbox] left, aswell as some old stuff from the previous sale, such as Wild Arms 3.
I picked up a copy of Rumble Roses and Mario Vs. Donkey Kong for myself, though.
 
When I went to K-Mart (6 PM CST) it was pretty much cleaned out in terms of the good stuff. A few copies of Viewtiful Joe 2 for the GC, but that's about it. :/

Why did you leave with nothing? Why not just buy them if you're 90% certain that they'll ring up at the right price. If they don't, then just go right over to the customer service desk and return them.
 
I went to my local kmar and asked the clerk what games were at 50% and he showed me a 3 page list. I came home empty handed because I didn't see anything I wanted. Here are some games and their price that i could remember.

Well, I've been over at my friends all day, but I did stop by K-mart, and they had all the ones from previous times, minus a few like Soul Caliber GC (ARGH!) and there were no GBA games. I still ended up going to Best Buy and picking up Soul Caliber >_

Its really not that great a deal to clean them out on such a sale. Assuming they bought every game at $9.99 and the store had 50 games thats $500. I know the Kmart I went to had at least 80 games.

These sort of average sales I see it as only being worthwhile getting the games you want to play.
 
Alright I stopped by K-Mart today and this is what I got:

Karaoke Revolution Vol. 2 - $20

Total: $45

They had 2 copies of Rumble Roses at where I went. I couldn't find any BR2 for Xbox though. Also couldn't find any Metal Slugs for GBA and Xbox. I couldn't last time either. But other then that, these were pretty nice finds. Thanks OP!
 
Went down and snagged James Bond: Everything or Nothing $10, Kill.Switch $10, and Sly Cooper for $10 all PS2.

Also note, found Hitman Contracts for $15 for the PS2.
 
damn... TMNT for 15... just picked it up for 20 from CC today... might have to return that one if I find any at my KMart...

actually i was at the k-mart's in moosic, pittston, and wilkes barre. pa
i got fight club 2004 and killswitch.
i was looking for beyond good and evil for the x-box.
and the moosic kmart had golden sun but only for 14.99. didn't pick it up.
 
Ok, at ebgames.com they have Bloodrayne 2 PS2 for $16.99. Getting it for $15 isn't really a deal but whatever, it should be a good game.

When I came into the electronics deparment she was checking out a costumer who had a small order [dish detergent and a DS game, I believe.], which took forever it seemed. I wasn't going through the hassle of having to return it if the game didn't ring up $15.
Still, the case couldn't have been more then 8 feet away from the register. She could have easily checked the price for me, but chose to be lazy and bitchy instead of actually helping a costumer
 
My K-mart didn't have crap... it was mostly left overs from last time. They did have one Mario Party 4/Wavebird combo but it was $37.50 (normally $75), so I just ignored that.

They did have PoP: WW and SRS for $25, but I can eBay them for less.

When I saw this thread it made me curious so I stopped by K-Mart...yesterday? Yeah. Well, anyway, not the last time but the time before it I managed to get the Street Fighter Collector's Edition, WarioWare: Mega Party Games, and Hitman: Contracts for $15 apiece. This time I was going for Baten Kaitos (it would be $10 cheaper than the copy I bought at Target, still unopened. And no, no Gamecrazy stores around my area).

Long story short: No Kaitos. Not in the little bin they had out, or in the glass case. Alien sad. :(

But, I did get Megaman X8 for $10.59 (tax included)! I almost used my GameStop instore credit on it so I was great to find it so cheap.

Also saw in the bin: Mortal Kombat: Deception Collector's Edition (marked $60, PS2 version), Driv3r (Xbox, marked $30 I think), Prince of Persia: WW (GCN, marked $50), Viewtiful Joe 2 (GCN, marked $20), and Kill.Switch (Xbox, marked $20) I think I saw Sprung too, for the Nintendo DS.

I almost considered buying the lone MK: D CE in the bin for $30, but I'd really rather have the GCN version with the extra playable characters. I couldn't give a crap about playing it online anyway.

But I did find that MM X8 for
 
Stopped by today and they didn't even have the bins out on a table like they usually do. It was still behind the glass shelves and I got Mario Gold Advance $15 and Tetris Worlds $7.50. I might go back tomorrow and pick up MMX8

This was in DuBois, PA btw.
 
I went today but I didn't fin the main three that I was looking for. Gonna try and maybe hit another Kmart or two and pick up Viewtiful Joe 2 - GCN, Mario vs. DK, and Red Dead Revolver. Hopefully I'll find them.
