That's a stupid question, as there's very few games I haven't played (EVER) That's the reason I don't beat a lot of games, I'm often jumping from game to game. Besides didn't we already establish that you have a fondness for games (and systems) that are almost universally loathed?

It's just another Anime game, if you love the Anime it's based on, you might be willing to suffer through the game play (which isn't terrible, but isn't all that great).
It got pretty decent reviews and it's a pretty decent action game. IGN gave it a 7.2, GS gave it a 7.6 and GT gave it either a high 7 or low 8 score, so I wouldn't call it "universally loathed."

And as you've pointed out before, if a reviewer doesn't like a game that game is bad, no questions about it and it appears the reviewers enjoyed this game.

I want to play the Witcher. If I got a free copy, I wouldn't be selling it.

Just picked up Lost Planet PC. I've played the demo and thought it would be worth the $20 it was at Target. We'll see if I still think that way after playing it. Also picked up another Antec Tricool fan for my 900 case, so my 8800GT will be chilled.

That's funny, I just got Lost Planet from Target and I'm waiting for my 8800GT to ship so that I can play it.

The minigun in FEAR: EP is pretty fun. Why did I have to play through over half of the game before getting my hands on it? I'll be finishing up that game tomorrow. I'll be happy to put it behind me. I might have to go back and play a few levels of the real FEAR to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

Never said reviewers were 100% right all the time (after all, reviewing isn't exactly a science), just that there word is actually worth something compared to someone like you, who gives treats his / hers extremely biased opinion like it's fucking gospel.

Besides, I wouldn't call a 66% average game "good". Yeah, it's not terrible, but so are a billion other games out there.

Lair & Sonic are just awesome titles, wouldn't you agree?

fuck mang... did anybody see those limited edition game related t shirts by gamesetwatch???

I saw them on Kotaku, but here's the link to the actual site:

thank goodness I get paid tomorrow

With Viva Pinata nearing completion, I'm about ready to pull another title off of the backlog. I have games like Halo 3, Orange Box & COD4, but I'd rather intersperse those into getting through some of the older stuff that's collecting dust right now.

The contenders:
Lost Planet (played the first mission)
TH Project 8 (about halfway through)
Shadowrun
Wartech

Not exactly a killer lineup, I know, but they've been collecting dust for a reason. Thoughts?
Lost Planet or Wartech.

Both good games.
Although Wartech is a love it or hate it kinda game.
Just got Wartech last night, might give it a go tonight or work on Bioshock.
Guys Brace your self...........................................

The Mana Knight is back.
There was a guy on Team Fortress 2 who had the name "Mana_Knight". The other CAGs that were playing were like "the mana knight?"

Yeah it has a 66%, but do your really trust half of the review sources? When you want to see a review do you say "I'm going to Ace Gamez" or "I'm going to IGN/GS"?

And yes I like those games and the answer is going to be the same no matter how many times you bring it up, so drop it.

Twilight Princess sure is an awesome RPG though huh? ;)
another account, or did they just bring him back?
They brought him back.

GGT beware.

Played some Lost Planet PC. It's pretty fun. I've been playing with a 360 controller, so it feels just like the 360 version. I turned off motion blur, and have HDR at medium and everything else cranked, and it likes to be around 60 fps at 1680x1050. Also played some Burnout Paradise on 360 and PS3 with a friend online. PS3 version wins due to less stutters and better graphics. That's a first. It's fun to just drive around and try to smash into each other. Looks like a nice PS2 game with HDR in 720p to me. And some extra effects.

So I wonder if the upcoming Tomb Raider Underground will borrow from or be reminiscent at all of Uncharted. The title suggests some kind of dungeon crawl, but I hope it's more varied and interesting than that.

And as much as it would very uninspired, I hope if there's any significant gunplay that it adopts a more traditional FPS aiming system. I wouldn't even blame the devs if they did a duck and cover system, although it would be pretty far removed from Lara's typical acrobatic run-n-gun system.

Come to think of it, I'm sure there's a clever way to keep Lara's fighting style and still evolve that gameplay a bit.

Is it going to be a game about crawling dungeons or raiding tombs?

I still haven't played either of the new Tomb Raider's. I was a fan of the series way back when, so I guess I should pick them up.

My guess is that it is crawling tombs and raiding dungeons.

I have yet to play either of the new Tomb Raiders either, even though I've got TR: Legend on the shelf now. I'm hoping they go for something new while keeping the atmosphere of the old.

I'm looking forward to Culdcept Saga. I enjoyed that demo quite a bit. On the other hand, I was really disappointed in Burnout Paradise. Just glad I still own Revenge.

One slight problem: That's not the title.

Its rumored to be Tomb Raider: Underworld, not Underground.

More rumors indicate it'll have something to do with Wayeb', since, according to the Mayans that is, the protective barrier between our realm and the Underworld disappears for five days.

well, been playing a ton of eye of judgment... made me remember how much I love playing good or decent TCGs... In fact I need to compile a list of all card based video games, but that's for another thread.

Yes, you're right. Typo on my part.

And hello, Wubb.
Hello GGT.
Hello

I've been playing Super Stardust HD, it's so the best downloadable game IMO. I hope they add online co-op to it

Still ended up playing more Unreal Tournament III today. There seems to be an ungodly number of maps in this game, and they're really well designed... and they just look cool. I can't remember the last multiplayer game I've played where the levels themselves actually looked interesting.

and the whole hyper-fast shooting thing is neato too.

I trust the review sources over you, as you tend to be far more biased than the worst of them. Not to mention I'd rather read a 2-3 page review going into detail over a game, over your hate it / love it quips.

Yeah, I disagree with some of the sites / publications, but I'd rather trust them than the dribble that comes from most of the gaming community.

Twilight Princess sure is an awesome RPG though huh? ;)

Yep, one hell of an Action-RPG.
They brought him back.

Whelp, guess I picked a good time to jump ship.

So long CAG, maybe I'll come back, but I really doubt it (besides, it's not like anyone really cares  )

I don't know, people disagree with reviews a lot, like with IGN's Godhand review (which they were spot on with IMO) or GS Ratchet review.

And I don't see how I'm so biased with me liking games that reviewers don't like, but whatever. Enjoy your leave due to TMK and please stay away longer this time.

Yep, one hell of an Action-RPG.
And you're still wrong.

anyone other than me read he Escapist?

It, alongside Game Developer magazine are the only things that make me know the game world is not filled with so many idiots, myself included.

been playing Vice City Stories... It's probably the worst GTA story I've played so far out of all the 3D titles, but I love the humor.
