Currently playing a couple of games...

CoD4 - Online rules. 9 levels away from 55
Halo 3 - Online rules yet again. 4 levels away from 50 :D

And soon to be Mass Effect. My friend is giving it to me today.

Finally got Time Crisis 4 today from that Amazon deal.

It's good fun. Took a bit to get the calibration to feel just right, but after that it's all fun.
Final Fantasy 13 looks so fucking good.

TO bad it wont be out in america until 2010
woot!

more than enough time for my broke azz to save up $600 for PS3!!

oh... but MGS4 comes out nex year, right?? :bomb:

I was about to give up on TC4 since I thought the Guncon 3 was horribly inaccurate, but turns out I had the sensors upside down

I still don't like the "super ninja" aspect of the game. everything else I'm fine with though. I would actually prefer to start out with a non-badass character and make him grow into a badass instead of the other way around. Even though I say that, I like what I see in versus alot more than regular XIII.
Short?
7 hours
I didnt do everything though because it tends to become tedious towards the end.

I was considering it since it's supposed to be a good anime game, but I'm not really a Naruto fan :p

7 hours is a bit too short for me to get it I think.
Well, I just finished Episode One.. I don't really know what to say. It was alright, way too much flashlight.
Episode 1 was good. Episode 2 is pure brilliance. It's better than straight up HL2, IMO.
Anyone care to explain the difference between FFXIII and FF Versus XIII or whatever it's called to a FF nub (only beat 7-10)?
They're looking a multi-game strategy per numbered entry now so they can get more out of the engine per generation. I think they are loosely related at best, but not directly. Might be wrong on that.

supposedly from what I remember there's supposed to be at least 4-5 XIII games... oddly I hope it bombs just so square stops doing that shit. I just want one solid story and for them to just leave it alone.

So I forgot the power cable for my 360 at my apartment, and I'm not going to drive all the way back for it, so I won't be playing my 360 over break. I did bring my ps3 back so this will give me some time to finish Resistance, play Uncharted, and I will probably pick up UT3.

Started digging into assassins creed, and the game feels really really shallow.
Like they had 1 idea and repeated it like 9 times.
Im gonna finish it, and then its going up on the ebay.

I finished it a couple days ago and have had it since release :p

I do want to get rid of it, but I really really really like the setting and the way you get around the cities. I'll probably trade it in though and put the credit towards Haze.
I do like the counter kills though
Yeah they are cool, you'll get tired of them as well though when you seen them 4576234395476 times.

Heh, finally got through "All Ghillied Up" in COD4. The first part of the level starts off super awesome, but ends all WTF this sucks!

I'm almost done w/the main story in ME. I should post a pic of my version of Shepard. Space bitches FTW.

Played through around 12 missions in the Unreal Tournament III campaign. It's surprisingly fun. Yeah, the story is a throwaway load of shit, but it's kinda nice that the campaign throws a lot of variety your way. The AI is really good (at least in the PC version) so that helps... you don't feel like it's just you + some half retarded bots playing.
I don't know, people disagree with reviews a lot, like with IGN's Godhand review (which they were spot on with IMO) or GS Ratchet review.
Some people do, some people don't. It only seems like a lot of people, because it's the internet. The most vocal group > The majority

And I don't see how I'm so biased with me liking games that reviewers don't like, but whatever. Enjoy your leave due to TMK and please stay away longer this time.

Your opinion is biased because its completely formed on your own like / dislike of a game. Example; name a good game, that you hate. To be fair, you far from the only person that does this, which fuels my whole "don't listen to regular folk" basis for game reviews.

I came back momentarily just to address this. I'm not leaving because of TMK, just that him coming back makes me feel better about leaving. Honesty I'm more upset with the fact that the powers to be screwed up and let him back, when he was a problem that was dealt in a perfect manner. But whatever, I'm sure he'll be gone again before you know it.

And you're still wrong.

And you're opinion is still worth less than shit. Yet you still feel the need to share it

Aww, don't cry, it's alright, you can keep thinking your opinion isn't shit and people actually care about what you think. Thinking your opinion is better than anyone else's makes you quite the douche.

 I never said anything about my opinion. Thanks for the delicious irony though.

You have in the past, a few times actually. I'm sure it was one of the times when you randomly attacked me for liking Sonic and/or LAIR.

Yeah, seriously. It's not like it's just recently been getting obnoxious -- it's been annoying from the start. These arguments are pointless and it really doesn't matter which one of you wins. If you have to decide on a victor, do it over PMs and stop cluttering the thread.

Just started the campaign for Company of Heroes. Good stuff. A little hard to keep up with at the moment but I'm sure I'll catch on. There's just so many things you can do with one squad.

Grenades, explosives, reinforcements, weapons upgrades, pick up enemy weapons, capture an enemy MG 42 and split the squad... But it's a bunch of fun once you get a hang of it.

I also played a little bit of the UT3 demo. I played a bunch of the UT2K4 demo with bots a few years ago but I wasn't feeling this one at first. Tonight I played Team DM instead of DM and it feels a lot better. Having longer lives lets me pick up different weapons and then use the right one in a fight. Plus, there's a lot less getting killed and not knowing where it came from.

So, how much do you all think these three games will net me?

SMT: DDS1 Sealed (Deluxe box)
SMT: DDS2 Sealed (White cover)
SMT: Nocturne Sealed with Strategy guide.

I'm needing some extra cash, and will need to sell these babies.

Ahhhhh. Finished my first playthrough of Mass Effect. It was really really great. Still have lots to do achievement-wise, but now I can play other stuff. :)

I sold my extra copies of DDS 1 and 2 sealed for 190 a few weeks ago... I sold a nocturne sealed sometime last year for $110... Hope that helps... If I were you I'd look towards getting somewhere close to $300.

Got 120 stars in Mario. Goddamn that game can be frustrating. Glad to be done with it. May be moving next to Rockman ZX? Either that or finally buying a 360 and forgetting about all other systems for a couple months.

Quite a lot. I'd reccommend selling them individually. I think you can get easily over 120 for the Nocturne sealed with the Guide

I'd go with markman in saying that the game sealed nets about 100, but the guide also sometimes sells for 35-50 dollars.

Would have liked to get in on that VF5 tourney, but work once again get's in the way of my gaming.

Well anyways, yesterday was the most gaming I've done in awhile. Played Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for most of the day before my PSP battery died on me, so I busted out the DS and finally started on Luminous Arc. Pretty good so far. After that played about 3 hours of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn before I went to bed. Good times.

I'll be broadbanded for two more days.. any chance I could participate in the VF5 tourney?

You could go first round, the problem would be the later rounds.

Thanks you two for the replies. I am really glad I decided to keep these sealed after all. I hate to let them go but I really need the cash and knowing they are worth that much pretty much seals the deal for me.

got lucky and picked up okami at the CC 2 for $30 deal today. playing rainbow six vegas on the 360, might pop bioshock back in and try to get closer to finishing it.

Finished the campaign in UT3 today... which actually took a while. I played a LOT of that game in the last day. Awful, awful storyline. Makes Gears look like a fucking epic by comparison. But... it's fun.
