A Link Between Worlds poster set - Available Club Nintendo

I just got a shipping confirmation for my posters. Now I am debating if I should waste some more points in this cycle to get that yoshi basket..
 
I kinda hate how the 3DS pouches appeared shortly after the posters. I pretty much thought I'd never have anything to spend my coins on. At least.. I have a poster set.. now.

If you're gonna sell it, you may as well wait for it to go out of stock. Ebay is probably a typical place to sell, at least. I think someone mentioned they sold it for $80 or something in another thread [but it was after the first run and probably way before this appeared].

Same. While I also dig the posters, been wanting a freaking pouch for this 3DS XL at least to help cut down on debris. However, I need to curb this bloody idealism I have regarding even having a pouch! IDK how much I would tote my 3DS XL around even if I had a pouch. 3DS XL fits a little too snug in every pant pocket I have and don't need to use a messenger bag/backpack/work shoulder bag/jacket most of the time. I dig streetpass, but not willing to step back to a regular 3DS. Boo hoo hoo hoo hoooo :cry:

club nintendo has almost zero interesting items to me. my points were expiring. i like games, just not those games. so maybe someone else would like them. thanks for the dumb reply though

Thanks, OP ... picked it up.  While the poster set for Skyward Sword was much better, this game rocked in so many ways that I could not help but get a set.  I picked up two of the Skyward Sword posters last time :) not enough points this time to do that but like I said, these posters are not IMHO as good.

How much were the Luigi statues? I'm trying to decide if I should get these posters... Club nintendo only offer like 10 items to redeem with points or am I missing something here!

1500 points, the good stuff pops up randomly and sells out quickly like the statue, colored 3ds xl power cradles, and gold nunchuck.

I Ended up picking up the pull n go folio case. It's large but, the 3ds gets stored in a detachable pouch.

 
I missed the figure by 2 hundred coins. So I got the Zelda soundtrack. Thanks OP I used up most of my 1600 coins with the posters and the Mario green tray thingee.
 
when was the last time the gold nunchuck was in stock? still have that skyward sword controller sealed (or wrapped up) so it'd be nice to match it

The NA club nintendo offered it in August of 2012, randomly put very few up one day in November 2012, and again in January of last year. After returning three times it's an unfortunate safe bet they won't be returning.

I'm hoping they'll go down in price on ebay. :/ No way I'm paying $80 for a used bundle to get that remote then $100 for just a nunchuk..
 
Could get that Zelda poster set... just don't know. Got the set from the platinum gift last year and never even opened it.

Lots of their other items are no longer in the "out of stock" area, they're just gone. Wonder if a batch of brand new items are on the way.

Yay, my posters arrived today, and the cardboard tube the posters were sent in was smashed inwards towards the bottom, and a little pushed in up top.

Upon taking them out, the posters are in pretty bad shape, a little ripped, pushed in, and just look awful. Not even a fragile stamp on the tube, you'd think they should already know that.

Called CN and lady was sympathetic, tried to send me a replacement and said they were sold out on her end. Sending me to a specialist department to try to find more. Will take 4-6 days for them to even get back to me due to everyone having so many problems getting their Pokemon X and Y codes...

Said I would likely end up just getting my coins refunded, unfortunate, since I just want nice looking posters. =/

Reminds me that I had two tubes of posters from CN I never used sitting in my closet.....Mario and a previous Zelda set. I need to get one or two of those framed at some point.

Define cheap... I mean, the main issue is finding 22" X 28" frames. There's only one place I found that sells locally down here where I live, and it's Michaels, an art and craft store. They are usually around $18, which is a lot, but they almost always do a BOGO on them, so I ended up paying $36 for 4 frames, which equals $9 and they are decent quality. Better than Walmart's but not as fancy as the other ones they sell for $50+.

Forget Michaels. Get them at Walmart for 12 bucks. They are really nice frames. I got one the other day in preparation.

Yeah....I have like 5 of these CN poster tubes just sitting there and only ever took out one and framed it (the one with all the different Links on it), I keep getting these but don't really have room for them, but when I do it's gonna be awesome haha. Wall will just be covered in Zelda (and other Nintendo) posters.

 
Nice, will check Michaels for BOGO frames, then Walmart if need be. If NOA posters are this nice I will get the next set whichever is it, highly doubt they'll throw up a statue or cradle...
 
Someone said the cradles are coming back in stock at.. the end of April, I think. So, they might be. I think it says it on Nintendo's site, too.

 
So I've got good news and bad news. Good news. My poster came yesterday. Bad news. I didn't notice until now. We had freezing rain in the area yesterday. And the posters were in a cardboard toilet paper roll-type container. Half of all three posters are completely ruined because the moron mailman decided to put it in my mailbox instead of ringing the doorbell. Gonna complain to CN and see what happens.

that sucks usually if I get anything in the mail through USPS to big to fit in mailbox they will either get out car and put it next to the door or they will leave a note to pick up at post office or call and let me know I got a package to pick up but some those postal workers are lazy and don't think right
 
Posters just came in and the tube is smashed with the posters all damaged. Guess it wont hurt to email Nintendo and see if they can do anything about it.

Yep bound to be plenty of problems shipping across america for these. My customer service rep was great and I'm either gonna get new posters or a refund. 

You guys should be alright.

 
Ya my posters arrived alright, but they only had to travel about 190 Miles .  That tube was pretty sturdy... some real shenanigans going on at the post office if they get crushed IMO.

 
When I got my Mario posters a long while back, they were damaged. Nintendo replaced them.

Though, they were still in stock at that time. Dunno what they'll be able to do with these Zelda ones.

(I need to check on my Zelda posters. Fearing the worst!)

gah, bought set for 24 on the bay.. not enough coins, and those pics (not scrunched up ones) look pretty good

Did you have to ship it back to them, or did they just send you another set? When I received my CN platinum Majora's Mask CD, the case was beaten to hell and cracked everywhere. They told I'd have to pay to have it shipped back so that they could send me another one. Figured for the price of shipping, I could just buy a new CD case instead.
