Just buy it directly from Nintendo on their web site. It's $35 plus $5 shipping. Comes in about 5 days, depending on where you are. If you're west coast, it will probably come faster.

Actually, this is a very good way to hear as many songs as you want without having to commit to one. I used this trick a lot in the GCN version. Once you hear a song you like, clear some inventory and get the aircheck.

I have collected about 40 Totakeke MP3s if you're interested, PM me or visit my town.

That's a good question. Of course, in your own town you can only get one a week. But I'd be very curious to see if you could go coffee house hopping on Saturday nights to different towns and pick up a bunch of songs. T'would be great.

Once you get any sort of storage furniture (dresser, bureau, chest, etc.) you can stow up to 90 items organized in six sections. This can include just about anything, even furniture (!) but not fish, bugs, turnips, or a few other things. You do not get any more storage space than this, even if you add more cabinets, so you only need one piece of storage furniture to access all of this space.

MUCH improved over GCN when each cabinet held only three items (and couldn't hold furniture).

Also, I had a little kid crying in my town b/c it couldn't find its mommy. It asked me to escort it to S. Park with is Timmy's town. Since I can't connect over WiFi right now, I had to leave the poor thing standing in the cold!

I can't wait until I get back home Friday. I'm jonesing for AC WiFi play.

You dont really need to trade it do you? I mean once someone holds an item in their inventory doesn't it show up in Nooks catalogue? So to get the items you have I would only need to hold them for a bit?

They're just for decorations and to make noises. You can make "music" with them if you get enough in a room...

I have a crapload of gyroids I don't mind getting rid of (since nooks catalog is so nice!), so I'll probably be on tommorow early morning or later after noon (best time is probably 3pm-5pm). I also just have alot of stuff I don't need but just there. I'll eatiehr sell or trade. Up to you.

Nook's catalog doesn't sell Gyroids.

He upgrades his store by how much you buy or sell from him, not by the house payment.

Well I haven't even sent 1 bell for house payment yet, and tomorrow Nook's upgrading the store, and I also read from some faqs on Gamefaqs that he upgrades with the stuff you buy/sell.
 
Just got the golden shovel! w00t. I have the first upgrade for my house and the first upgraded nook's store. Im going to open my town so come on in! Buy some stuff!
 
Thanks to everyone who visited Fair Oak today and let me visit their towns (especially Matt and Mirin). I got a lot of great items and met some nice folks. Plus, I just upgraded my house for the third time AND got word that tomorrow Nook will be making his final upgrade (already!) and will reopen as Nookington's. So as of Thursday, we'll have a large department store and hair stylist for anyone who wants to visit.
 
my Nook is closed too, guess it definately helped to have you buy from him, lol. I also am enjoying my 2nd floor, moved all my gyroids up there.
 
Thanks Adrian and Vijai! I got sooo much accomplished last night: returned the baby kitten to ChaosZero's ( Vijai ) town and i've added 2 more pieces of Robo furniture to my pad thanks to scdoanintendo ( Adrian ) :D And HOLY CRAP... after getting stung like 9454835384 times, i FINALLY caught a bee! I decided to keep it as a pet rather than donate it...'I named him "Frisbee"; he's my new roomate. :p

**OH! Mirin, if you're reading this: just wait till you see how cute the kitten/mommy reunion is ^_^ You'll love it. I was rewarded with a lilypad table...which is up for trade!
