Monthly. You get a letter from Town Hall on the first day of the new month saying how much you earned in interest.
 
I'll be on today randomly throughout the day... plus, if anyone ever feels like playing during late night (usually between 11pm to 2am) I try to have my gates open...

Okay, dumbest question from this n00b. The sign says that Nook gives different prices for "other fruit" over my pears. So how do I get the other fruit? Do I have to go to another town? Can I sell my pears over there if they have other fruit?

I'm confused :whistle2:(

Yeah, other types of fruit can be obtained by traveling to different towns. You can help yourself to some of mine... my gates are open. I'll link your friend code... but i need your character's name and the name of your town :) My info is in my sig!

I'm pretty new too but my town is open if you want to come in. My info is in my sig.

My town's open for 15 minutes. Gonna go take a quick shower after that but I'll be back on in about 45 minutes after hte hour.
 
My gates are open, and I think I already added u vietgurl, so just put my code in and come over... gates wil be open for a while if anyone wants to swing by.

one question: does luck affect tree growth and possablity of items falling out of trees?

Sorry vietgurl, I ended up having to run some real-life errands and only got back just now. Hopefully you can get a small orchard going with what I gave you though. I have more if either of you shows up 'open' within the next hour.

So I woke up at 7 today and was too tired to really play; I trampled some flowers and I decided to go back to sleep. I turned off my DS without saving but I didn't get yelled at or anything when I turned it back on just now... Is he off flea market day or something?

EDIT: Can someone be so kind as to spare some medicine? My Nooks is closed today and I have a sick villager. Thanks!

You have to shut it off twice without saving, than he'll appear. That's what surprised me also when my DS died and he didn't come up, but that's how he works.

EDIT: Also what is Flea Market day and is it for everyone?

my gate is open stop on by and you can pick up the medicine.

I think it's for everyone on Saturdays? This is my 1st, and so far today, no one's been in their friggin house (cept Egbert, who's unpacking)! Suuure, they all stopped by my place when I was dropping items to see how they looked, but so far I haven't bought off anyone.

Hmm. I bought a cream couch, and unloaded a bear bole for 900 bells. Wanted to unload a washing machine and snowman dresser too, but no one came!
 
My first flea market day and I really lucked out. Not only did I make ~1000 bells net profit from selling all my furniture but I also managed to get a Arwing from one of my neighbors. Nook should have my upgraded house tomorrow for me. Looks like I'm starting from scratch again.

PM me or post here if you have one for me; i've got TONS to trade. ) Anyways, i had to make a few new characters so that they can hold tile patterns. She looks like Poison Ivy, here! ...haha, that shirt is actually a custom-made bush tile from....

was the Flea Market only supposed to run one day? (Saturday), because I still have a lot of people in my town coming into my house to buy things when I am trying to re-arrange furniture.
